Hi All,

I cannot find Oxy-Lite v3 anywhere to download! Would some kind soul please upload it somewhere? Maybe to their Dropbox?
Many thanks!

Sorry to bump, but anyone?
Picking up my Desire HD tomorrow.
If not Oxylite then can anyone recommend another alternative? I am trading in my HTC Desire with Oxygen (Gingerbread, pretty barebones) which I absolutely love as a day-to-day ROM. Something like that for the Desire HD would be awesome.
Thanks

I'm using hydrogenmod right now. CM7 and MIUI are all very very light, you really don't need to have anything lighter for your phone to run as best as possible under any scenarios.
Although I'd gladly take an oxylite ROM. If anyone has the zip please upload

Thanks to forum regular "ffroms", I have uploaded the latest stable version of OXY-LITE...
Link was here but I'm prevented from posting links due to the forum rules. Maybe there is a good reason but these draconian rules and that damn captcha make using these forums less pleasant. (I know I should blame those spammer scum for the captcha thing.)
Anyway, contact me via PM if you want the link and/or some other established forumite can post the link on my behalf.
Code:
$ md5sum OXYLITE_v3_GAPPS.zip

When I get the link I'll post it on your behalf. When you reach 10 posts I'll be glad to remove the link so you could post it yourself.
LINK:

The file is 57+ mb, just shy of 58.
Imran-UK said he promised someone else this link as well before I requested. If this is you, then I'd be glad to remove the link from my post and let you have it.
And if this post helped, thank Imran UK and the Original thread (Anarchian), not me

Cool guys thanks
It just needs someone with compiling knowledge
I have not got around to trying it, but i may get time later tonight...
The first thing is to see if the kernel is different between the g2 and the z, if not, we can pretty much use everything that the g2 is using... I think there will be minor differences though, but just speculating at the moment

I've just seen this thread. I've just posted the recompiled module on
forum .xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=9040970
gosh it's annoying that XDA won't allow me to post URLs. You'll need to cut and paste and remove the nasty space.

I know that xda got rid of the thread due to terms not being met, but does anyone have the download source? I google searched and I thought I remember it being on mediafire, but I cant find it :/
If someone has it, could they plz upload it and pm the link? Idk if this request violates xda rules but oh well
Edit: thank you very much SefEXE for the link. Anyone wanting this kernal link, just pm me
I have heard that his work was removed because he did not have his code published or something like that. He was basically grounded. Now he is un-grounded and will be re-posting his work again shortly. I dunno how much of this is true so I am sorry if this is not true. Hope fully it is and everything will be good again.

[MIRROR] Download all your favorite ROMS/THEMES as torrents

I've noticed a lot of the download sites have been sucking lately, so I thought sharing the ROMS as torrents would be a good way to remedy the situation.
I will start out with a few and hope to build in the coming days. If any of the versions I put up need updating, please point that out as it'll be hard to keep track of myself further down the line. Also, feel free to throw out suggestions of anything you want to see up here.
If you are not familiar with torrents, look here: http://www.utorrent.com/help/guides/beginners-guide
Essentially download utorrent, install it, and open the .torrent file I posted with the utorrent program. It will then download the file directly from me and anyone else who is sharing the file.
Make sure all proper ports are forwarded and that you have DHT and local peer discovery enabled in utorrent.
You may also download directly to your phone using an app such as ttorrent (pro version recommended) for android. Just open the .torrent file using the ttorrent app on your phone.
Oh, and one last thing. SEED SEED SEED!
You better get the dev's permission first or you might inadvertently upset them. I learned this the hard way. Just passing on the advice.
I for one think this is a great idea. just make sure to ask the devs first to make sure noones toes are being stepped on. but great idea man.

I hate to be that guy.. but who cares?
That's how the internet works. If someone makes something available for mass consumption, the more mirrors the better. How many legit files/links out there are gone forever thanks to megaupload disappearing?
If you don't want something shared, don't share it in the first place.

Thats precisely why I put it here and not in the DEV section. However, you make a good point, and I will be contacting each dev to notify them and will take their work down upon request.

Well that may be so, but some things it's better to ask out of respect. Plus, Jerdog (the moderator for this section) said he thought it wouldn't be a problem with xda "staff". He did say that you should get the dev's permission first.
I asked a dev about helping out and never got a reply so I didn't post it.
You can be a **** about it or you could use some etiquette. Wiki's explanation of it is
Rules of etiquette encompass most aspects of social interaction in any society, though the term itself is not commonly used. A rule of etiquette may reflect an underlying ethical code, or it may reflect a person's fashion or status. Rules of etiquette are usually unwritten, but aspects of etiquette have been codified from time to time.

It goes like this,90 percent of all roms are available at rom sites for direct download-no torrents or sharing sites needed. What you cant download on rom sites is only some chd images for mame roms.
I usualy find any rom on Emuparidise or RomWorld(two best rom sites)And if you cant find them there RomHustler or CoolRom,these two are heavy on advertisements but sometimes have what others dont. For ps3 games got to PS3iso which has almost every psn-ps3 game.I dont own 360 so I cant tell you where to get games for it.

Really? Putting the definition of etiquette.. I'm sure we all wondered what that big word was..
There are always better ways of doing things, but this should have already happened and the dev's shouldn't mind, other than not doing it themselves.

You mean for the different modems and stock roms? I just tried but I can't get any of those. Seems like multiupload is totally down. If you have all those files somewhere you can easily create torrents yourself. Its just a matter of having that spare bandwidth to front the first couple peers.

The problem is that this update isn't available via Kies, it's only available on replacement, referbished, or repaired T989's, otherwise I would have done it weeks ago.
It's available on the new Gray GS2.

I think the guy that had it said it's a battery hogger and saw no improvement so he ended up not ripping it. There is another one having the same radio but he was unable to rip it out.
I have it but I don't know how to rip it out to share with the community. I asked for help with clear, concise, detailed explanation on how to remove it. (I'm a noob ) one guy tried to help but I got nowhere with his explanation, although I do appreciate his time and effort. The next brought nothing to the table and wanted a moderator to delete the thread because I asked for help. What's that about I don't know, but I am still willing to share with everyone if I could get some help.
CLEAR, CONCISE, DETAILED AND IN SEQUENTIAL ORDER. EXPLAIN IT TO ME IN STUPID SO THAT I CAN CLEARLY UNDERSTAND WHAT TO DO.

Have you tried PM'ing a dev? Void dweller made the sticky that has a list of radios for us. PM him, I'm sure he knows how
And what was the point on this radio by the way? Is it still 4.0.4 or just the radio?
maybe they deleted your thread because like this thread its kinda a duplicate of an already started UVLI1 radio thread. Also in that thread I posted directions from a link I found via simply googling directions for extracting radios.
Check the other thread for the link and hopefully it can work for you. But the directions can be found on the web and they are step by step

Since I'm that kind of guy, I'd be willing to donate $10 or $15. But I'm sure more than that is needed for someone to drop what they're doing....
