Hey,
I have a HTC one v currently running CM9 rc0 with a titanium kernel build #5.
When i flash titanium-kiss kernel it refuses to boot up and goes into a bootloop. Cm9 works fine with titanium kernel but i am not able to overclock it.
I also flashed cm10 on my device, it gets stuck on the loading screen with titanium kernel and does not boot up with titanium kiss.
What should i do about it?
Also, i am only able to boot into recovery when i have cwm touch recovery installed. When i flashed twrp recovery it went into a bootloop when I rebooted into recovery.
What should i do about these issues?
CM10 Has it's very own kernel in the titanium-kiss thread
titanium does not work on CM10 currently
You can't flash the kernel you want when you are on a custom rom especially cyanogen mod

I think both of you were not able to understand me.
When i have Titanium kernel + CM9 it works fine but i am not able to overclock.
However, when i use CM9 + titanium kiss for cm9 or cm10 + titanium kiss for cm10 the device gets into a bootloop in case of the cm9 kernel or gets stuck at the htc boot screen in case of the cm10 kernel.
I understand that cm10 is not supported by titanium kernel and that is why it gets stuck at the cyanogenmod bootsplash.
What should i do?

Amonra Recovery, wipe dalvik cache und Flash zip from sdcard
happened to me as well...i wiped and installed everything all over then made a nandroid (in case it happens again). installed kernel again and everything worked...
i personally think that flashing anything but the kernel at one go, makes it go boot loop for some reason..
i´ve flashed the rom new and flashed the kernel.. boot loop :/
wait for new rom, with new actually kernel..

The kernal has been updated it wont boot up until you update your kernal there is a zip for both cm7 kernal and cm9 kernal
So in stable recovery I updated to cm9 kernal this stopped my cm7 booting but cm9 starts to work in multiboot (custom recovery ) and then installed cm7 kernal to get back to cm7 otherwise it wont boot up at all you have to keep flashing the kernals to go from one to the other

Use Kernel of FreeXperia ?
Put your problems directly to the thread reserved for Cyanogen ROM...
It will be much effective I think
what is free xperia kernel?
i tired installing doom kernel v3 also dont work
Ok I have the same kernel that you and I have no problem...
FreeXperia proposes its kernel CM7 in the 7z archive (boot.img)
(step 2 - flash new kernel (always use the kernel provided in CM7 / it is incompatible with stock ROM))
Reinstall again your ROM...

Have you installed the ZIP Cyanogen ROM of the Recovery?

I don't know... Sorry
CPU overclocking?
Hi guys, please help me out. I flashed cm7.2 and used doomkernel. Everything was working pretty well but I got bored and wanted to try a MIUI rom.
So I backed up my cm7.2 and flashed sinMIUI and used the doomkernel for MIUI. Again, everything working well, except terrible battery drain.
Anyway, I thought I would go back to cm7.2 for the weekend. I backed up sinMIUI and then tried to restore cm.7.2 - however, it never booted. Just stuck on doomkernel screen. Pulled battery and tried again, but still stuck in doomkernel screen. So I gave up, went back into recovery and restored sinMIUI instead - no problems.
So why couldn't I restore cm7.2? Here is my guess, please correct me if I am wrong.
What I should have done is...first flash the doomkernel (for cm.7.2) boot.img with fastboot - then once that is loading, go into recovery and restore cm7.2?
right, doomkernel for cm7 just for cm7,n kernel for miui just for miui, specially made for that rom
AOKP 2013-11-14 build, 's been working fine for the past two weeks or so. Since the default kernel doesn't seem to work I tried flashing other kernels but after flashing, the device doesn't boot. Tried franco.Kernel, LeanKernel, Stock 4.3 kernel, none works. What could be the cause of this?
Maguro
AOKP 2013-11-14 build (4.3.1)
TWRP 2.6.3.1
No kernels seem to work.
Update
I restored a working backup. It didn't work. It's stuck on the X logo.
Any things I can do? Flash clean ROM?
I had the same issue on another rom (carbon). They had changed something, so the kernel had to get a special fix to work. Try asking on the aokp thread or forum (can't remember if they got one)
It seems you flashed wrong kernel or it is not compatible with your current rom.
