i did clear dalvik and cache before installing.

running on baseband .56
Use Kernel of FreeXperia ?
Put your problems directly to the thread reserved for Cyanogen ROM...
It will be much effective I think
what is free xperia kernel?
i tired installing doom kernel v3 also dont work
Ok I have the same kernel that you and I have no problem...
FreeXperia proposes its kernel CM7 in the 7z archive (boot.img)
(step 2 - flash new kernel (always use the kernel provided in CM7 / it is incompatible with stock ROM))
Reinstall again your ROM...

okay i did flash the new boot. still rebooting unnesseary
As you Cyanogen boot animation ?
nope when im on the launcher. then it suddenly reboots.
No Cyanogen boot animation but you get the launcher???
Have you followed all the steps to install the ROM Cyanogen?
Have you installed the ZIP Cyanogen ROM of the Recovery?
lol what i mean is i dont get boot loops anymore but i do get random reboots at launcher
I don't know... Sorry
CPU overclocking?

The kernal has been updated it wont boot up until you update your kernal there is a zip for both cm7 kernal and cm9 kernal
So in stable recovery I updated to cm9 kernal this stopped my cm7 booting but cm9 starts to work in multiboot (custom recovery ) and then installed cm7 kernal to get back to cm7 otherwise it wont boot up at all you have to keep flashing the kernals to go from one to the other

hello all!
i am trying out new roms on my xperia arc. its rooted, bootloader unlocked. i successfully tried cm7. anyway, now i am switching to xperia mod. i have the latest doom kernel, i flash the rom, restart from cwm and then the device is simply stuck at bootscreen [where is android wearing assassin clothes ] factory reset, wipe dalvik cache, all done. i dont know where i am lagging! facing same issue in arconium too! the original one, stock rom, works perfect!
Flash correct Kernel.
Than wipe all another time.
Get boot.img in .zip file, extract, and flash it from flashboot.

sorry mate, i am not getting this exactly what you mean. please be little more clear?
also i already tried reflashing the kernel through
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
after installing the rom and facing the issue. still no way!
1-You have tried to flash a kernel wich not supports stock .62 rom based, in this case you have to take the correct kernel (ex. doomkernel v18 for stock) and flash it by fastboot.
Doomkernel for CM7 is different from Doomkernel for stock.
If you were on doomkernel for CM7 with CM7 rom previously, now you have to switch on doomkernel for stock to install and make functional a stock based rom like Xperia Mod
OR
2-You are on the correct Doomkernel but you have to install the 1,6Ghz version for the devices that have boot issue with 2 Ghz version (as my phone), look at the Doomkernel's thread.

Thankyou very much for your reply.
1. I have the latest doomkernel v18 only. and yeah, the one for stock rom! i am running the stock rom on it.
2. I havent tried this. i am using 2ghz one. will give a shot to 1,6ghz one. but xperia mod or arconium is giving the same bootloop on stock kernel too!
Also my current stock rom is .48 build. does this has something to do with any of this?
Flash the boot.img file which you will get in the ROM original Zip file.
Usually DoomKernel works with all but its buggy with a *Few* Roms.....
So try flashing the kernel provided in the zip

There is no rom provided in the zip. Its written on its description page that it works best with doom kernel!

I tried 1,6 ghz one just now! same bootloop exists!
Flash with this doomkernel = http://doomlord.sylvester20007.com/xperia_2011/miui/arc_arcs/dk-v02-high/boot.img
@all, thank you all for support! i retried with 1,6ghz doomlord kernel. very first try this didnt work. i tried again, this time, before and after flashing of rom, i cleared cache, wiped data, factory reset and dalvik cache too! and whoa! worked! i am loving it all! thank you all for replies!
Hi, sory for newb posts. But this all got a bit more complicated since my HTC days!
I managed to get cmod7 working (remove apk to stop looping on boot!).
But what can I flash now with the CM kernel I have?
Or how/what kernel to flash and what ROM for best/stable device?
I see and have the Mooded rom, but do i need to flash kernel first? And baseband etc.?
All gone strange since i last flashed devices!!
Thanks !
there should be a list of suitable kernels in any rom thread. download the ROM zip to your SD card, use fastboot to boot the kernel, enter cwm and wipe data(if necessary), and flash the zip and any modules if required.

Original Thread.
For those that want information I've a GSM model and I flashed this upon
.58 Enhanced v2
-Firstly Flash DooMLoRDs ICS Beta Kernel via fastboot OK!
-Boot the phone into recovery OK!
-Perform a Factory Reset OK!
-Wipe cache and dalvik-cache OK!
-Flash the Zip from SD Card in recovery OK
-REBOOT and Enjoy! - Stuck On Kernel Screen / DoomLord Kernel ICS Beta
I'm unsure what to do, all the other roms seem to work well for me.
This rom is built based on KA14 Test Play which does not work for me either, and Cyanogen 9 RC2 is sluggish at games at least for me.
Cyanogen 7 is slow on the menu and all apps always stay in memory.
I just want to add this rom to my collection I.E I make a backup of each Rom and Kernel so I can switch without using a laptop.

Hi , what was your rom before trying to install miui?
It seems so I had two recoveries at that point of which one being the leftover and which is terminated upon forst boot and one in the IcsBeta Kernel. What have I done is used the leftover CWM and that was the error. Anyway I found out this by accident when trying to enter flashmode and I didn't realise the kernel booted. I've flashed this rom using the kernel's touchscreen recovery and that worked for me. Anyway to answer your question it was 2.3.4 stock (.58) Enhanced version v2 anyway considering this is as an ICS ROM I should be able to get to it with any Gingerbread version.

Did you repack the kernel for the ROM.
Dude, I got to where you are a couple of weeks ago and I panicked. 10 minutes later I was sorted.
Download the rom and kernal again (prolly best to use a kernel already packed for the ROM you want to take a variable out of the equation). May I recommend Tripndroids CM10 ROM and the kernel that comes with it. This will be fast to flash before your battery dies and I am very familliar with flashing it so I'll be able to help more easily. You can always start again when you've charged. Alternatively, Use the boot.img from any ROM you like. Stick to a matching ROM and kernel for now as it saves the repack and a couple of steps in flashing.
Copy ROM zip to your SD (using ADB is easy: adb push yourfile.zip /sdcard/yourfile.zip)
Extract the boot.img from the rom zip (on your PC)
Go into fastboot and connect USB
fasboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot erase cache
Full wipe in recovery
erase cache and dalvik in recovery
Flash the ROM in recovery
Reboot - First boot will take a while.

That's very subjective but I like TripNRaVeRs CM10 Endeavour Unleashed. It comes with a completely stable 2.x kernal and there is an almost totally stable 3.x kernel and an experimental (not at all stable) 3.x kernel. All cna be flashed without the re-pack.
BTW. If you ever get to panic stations again you can charge by going into fast boot and choosing power down. Then you can charge for a while before starting again.
BTW agian, there is a thanks button. You could click it if you wanted!
if you want to use other kernel (faux, ncx) than the one supplied in rom you should always repack it using online repacker http://nibble.cc/repack/
if not you will be 90 % stuck in bootloop
