Okay, so as you may see I'm a new member. I just recently read up on the CM9 and CM10 thread. and i see that you have to flash a radio in order for it to work properly. So when i went to download the radio on this guide ---> http://www.teamchopsticks.org/p/cm10-install-guide.html it said that the file wasnt available. So can anyone please hand me the radio that was provided? Im using T-mobile by the way.. Also, can i just flash another radio like this one ----> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1842207 does it matter? Thanks in advance.

haha didn't check the date! Thanks for the heads up! I'm having a bit of difficulty finding a radio that gives good battery life. What radio would you recommend..?
I've found that the newest official Radio_12.54.60.25_26.09.04.11_M2 (from the link in your signature) gives me the best battery life and I've tried almost all radios.

Nice1 thanks. I used it a few weeks ago and then changed for some reason, prob just to see what else was out there. I recall it being excellent.
So, is the radio's performance dependant on the ROM in way way? Also, what RIL are you using?
Not really no and almost all roms are based on the official gingerbread update and the radio came with it so the roms should be optimized for it anyway. RILs should always match the radio you're using, but the newest custom roms should already include the matching RILs for the radio I suggested.

Yeah, but it still seems to work better than the newest Radio_12.54.60.25_26.09.04.11_M2 release.

THX I NEED it
the newest radio is the best mate...
Just posted this update in the Recommended ROM/RADIO/RIL/KERNEL Combinations thread..
Flashed the Telus radio: 12.35d.60.140fP_26.06.03.24_M2 and it's using 3-4mA per minute in stand-by. It's pretty much the best I've tested so far. I'm going to stick with it: http://www.multiupload.com/4CQ8919NO6
what ril are you using with that radio? This one 12.35d.60.140fP_26.06.03.24_M2
the 1003g one? I;ve tried flashing that ril and cannot get it to work?

The RIL's in my signature.
Remember, you have to mount /system in cwm before you flash it. Just look in one of the menus within cwm and you'll see mount /system. Select it and then flash the RIL as your would flash a rom or anything else, from your SD card.
Anyone have any idea if this will cause issues?

Well, I flashed MIUI ROM while on the EL13 modem and it was working just fine, my guess is that it will work fine as well on the Cyanogenmod ROM too

FYI, this is a totally legit thing to post in Bubby's CM thread (it does not need to go in Q&A)
While no one but developers should START threads in that section, questions about a specific Rom are totally legitimate to put IN a rom's thread.
Hello all,
It's been a week flashing ROMs, Radios, Kernels, many combinations and I can't get my Galaxy Nexus to work well. It's picking up AT&T signal sometimes, actually PERFECT reception near home, but then drops 100%
The SIM gets recognized, as the APN settings are correct.
The model I have is the i9250, Engineering model
Thank you for your help, I'm very frustrated

Take a look at my thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1487239 and read through and try the combinations recommended. I PERSONALLY recommend the FuGuMod Kernel as it fixed my issues. See my signature for current set up. I use the UGKL1 Radio as well.
Please post your results in that thread as well as here.
Go back to stock 4.0.2 This should work, it normally does... Download it: Here...
It is a zip file, which contains the stock GNex ROM, everything should be back to normal

This may work as well but I have a feeling the OP is trying to use an AOSP 4.0.3+ ROM.
OP - Read my thread and give it a try. It has helped a few like you (INCLUDING MYSELF). What do you have to lose?

Try my exact setup and see what happens...
-FoxHound v1.0 ROM
-FuGuMod 4.0.3 Kernel
-UGKL1 Radio
Give it a try. This set up WORKS for me and the FoxHound ROM is quite nice as well.

Really? Im sorry to hear that. There are some other combos listed there in my thread that have worked for others as well. Maybe try those...
I wish you good luck my friend...
got into stock 4.0.2, unrooted again. NOTHING, maybe antenna issues?
I just had your same problem. I tried any rom and stock flash, but NOTHING.
Then I tried doing "Fix permissions" in CWM recovery and after that PROBLEM SOLVED!
I imagine it's too late for you but maybe this solution could help in future
Hello newbie here, I am thinking of trying new radio but how do I backup my current(incase other ones are not that good)
Thanks
Well, I'm sure your current radio is out there in a flashable zip. I have them all. I could give a link to one of your current radio for you to keep for safe keeping.

LoopDoGG79,
How many radios are out there right now? I've searched and I've searched but I've not found any "comprehensive list" of all radios that are out that are flashable.

supersain08, I don't believe you can back up any radio... I remember reading on a post somewhere. However, you can keep flashing a new one... so know what you have, or what you should have (ICS=UVLE1 and above) Whatever you do.. DON'T FLASH A GB RADIO ON AN ICS ROM

I did nothing to help with this, just bringing it to the people of this forums that want it.
It has working A2DP by pulling some stuff from the 12-26-12 build and implementing them into 1-15-13 and might have some broken features. If anyone finds any broken features then let me know and I'll ad them to this post.

Holy crap this is heroic. I'll bet people haven't really noticed... I know I don't look at the general section terribly often but glad I did today. Downloading now. A thousand thanks to you.
No worries. I know people want it cause I posted that I had the old build of 10.1 with working BT and my PM box got flooded with hits.

A2DP definitely works as expected. Audio is busted in g+ hangouts (think this got fixed in the caf audio stuff that happened in later nightlies). But that's a decent tradeoff. Haven't seen any other issues other than the ones everyone knows about from the regular nightlies- occasional flicker, lag after some games, etc.
How do you install this? Since its ATT, I get an error with CWM6 on my TMO S3.
Is there a version out there for the SGH-T999 (d2tmo)? I'm guessing since this is the d2att version it won't work on the SGH-T999, right? Thanks for fixing this issue.
I've flashed about 7 different att ROMs on my phone without editing anything before flashing. They work fine after unless trying to use something T-Mobile specific, like T-Mobile voicemail. I didn't fix it just brought to t999s attention.

Thank you, this helps. I have the latest experimental build of 10.1, do you know if I will have to wipe my phone or can I just flash it over the existing 10.1 build? Thank you
I would try flashing like this.
Boot into recovery
wipe system
flash A2DP working Cm-10.1 rom
Flash gapps
reboot and test, if it doesn't work then wipe.

I've installed dozens of roms over the last few years, including some AT&T ones, but this one specifically gives me an error when installing the rom. I always wipe everything when going to a new rom. I even downloaded it a 2nd time incase the first one was corrupted or something.
This isn't too important to me anymore, cause I found a 4.1.2 rom I like, that has BT and Hotspot with encryption working, which neither seem to work with any 4.2 roms. But I am curious why it wasn't working.
so madmack's patch has made it into the latest nightly correct? no need for the rom he posted, just use the latest cm10.1 nightly?

thanks for the link to a bluetooth solution. Which GAPPs do I use for this ROM? I am new to rooting.
I loaded a later version dated april 11 - 2013 but bluetooth and voice search is not working. Any pointers would be appreciated.

ahhh nothing says XDA like a thread being raised from the dead
ok, first off, this is for the S3, not the S2 Skyrocket as your sig says you are using
second, go to the CM download page for your device (http://get.cm/?device=skyrocket) and grab the most recent nightly or get the stable version of 10.1 for it here (http://get.cm/?device=skyrocket&type=stable) dated June 24th. those should work fine
third, go to http://goo.im/gapps and grab the first file there, dated 20130301 for 4.2.2
make sure your recovery is updated (CWM or TWRP) then flash CM first, then gapps
then go here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1399) for the AT&T Skyrocket forums
good luck!
