bodoncel, the Hack Kit is to root and gain s-off. The downgrade procedure there is not for the hboot but for the firmware. It would be find just to find first why he need or wants to downgrade his hboot.

Why do you think you need to downgrade your hboot? What benefits do you expect to gain from doing so?
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
as rootsu said, theres no benefits
but if you really want to then head over to the alpharev site and download the hboot downgrader, flash that either by fastboot or the pb99img.zip method, then run a froyo ruu
I already tried using the hboot downgrader but it didn't work.
I also tried unrevoked...
Thank you all for your help
Sorry not to have post at the right place...

what bugs have you found?
you cant do that, but you can go to http://revolutionary.io and flash a custom hboot, then you can decide if you want to:
1) Flash the downgrader.img and run a Froyo RUU to remain stock OR
2) Flash custom recovery (and root or flash custom ROM)
What is the ultimate goal? You want to be rooted and with custom ROM?

Is there a way to S-on again ? or change HBOOT?
I try to downgrade but I still have the S-OFF hboot 6.093.1002.
Thank you
only way to s-on is to flash downgrader.img then run RUU. S-off is good though.

I tried several times but it did not work...
The procedure succeed when the downgrde is down I can read "[2] boot loader = bypassed"... others are OK
I tried also other think... flashing with different RUU Roms, works every time except the boot that didn't change...
Did you succeed overwriting the hboot after s-off on time?
I think I will leave it so
Thank you for the time you gave me

I followed this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=768256
Windows Installation
0. Install HTC Sync (driver required).
1. Extract the downloaded zip file fully (do not just click on the zip file).
2. Enable USB debugging on your phone. Ensure 'ask me' is set under 'Connect to PC' setting with 'charge only'. Plug in your phone.
3. Double-click on the win-down file.
4. Follow instructions and wait.
I also used this one, don't know if it is the same
http://alpharev.nl/PB99IMG_downgrade.zip
Same problem
If I didn't use the right method, please let me know and explain me if possible.
Thank you.
I know that I am a novice but I want to learn.

Hey, take a look at this two site - Revolutionary tool (the evolution of the unrevoked tool)
revolutionary.io/
unrevoked.com/rootwiki/doku.php/public/revolutionary
I was able to re-root my desire with Android 2.3.3 & Hboot 1.02.001
I left trying to downgrade hboot and I install last leedroid HD, it seems to work (little bit slow). Strange thing, I can not flash the last radio...
Thank you all for your help.
Regards

[Q] Does anyone know how to downgrade back to android 2.3.3 and unroot fully?

Also relock bootloader to normal? I'm on cm7.1 with clockwork and amonra recoveries. I also have an evo 4g of course. Anyone know how? My wifi always disconnects with 2.3.5 every 5 minutes.
Need help with this.

So then I follow rest of steps? Do I use unrevoked to unroot too?

well since you want to go back to 2.3.3 you'll have to use revolutionary.io to achieve s-off. Its the same steps except your substituting the froyo ruu with the gingerbread one and you root with revolutionary instead of unrevoked

No, you won't need to do anything after flashing the ROM. You'll be unrooted and S-ON.
You would only need unrevoked (or Revolutionary, in this case) if you were trying to unlock your NAND (S-OFF).
So all I need to do is flash and there will be no traces of root?

After updating the misc partition you can downgrade to a version rootable through unrevoked. You go to step 11 and flash the PC36IMG.zip it will downgrade you to froyo 2.2. But if you want to downgrade to 2.3 flash a gingerbread RUU(posted one in first page of thread) instead of a froyo one

Downgrade and root HTC desire HD

Is there any method to downgrade and root DHD ?? ver 2.3.5
You don't need to downgrade. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2168500

S-OFF and root are completely different. S-OFF need skills to gain it at the moment, so probably the best choice is to root unlocking the bootloader.

No i dont have recovery.
Then either fastboot flash a recovery and flash a custom ROM or flash a Superuser app and a su binary. Instructions are in the guide linked in the thread in my signature.

Then I suggest that you read before messing your device up. You are going on the way to do it this way. You are trying to downgrade the main version and other stuff that you don't need to. What you need is to read and find how to do what you are trying.
