Loving the ROM so far. Should there be a new boot animation? I still have the CM9 animation.
Thanks

The boot animation is still the one from Cm9..
The Cm10 one should be merged in with a later nightly.
The download you pointed is for toro.
For maguro: http://get.cm/?device=maguro
Anyone else have super slow boot times? I did a fresh install and this one takes forever to boot as well.
Long first boot is totally usual.
If it's only the 1st then don't worry
Mine boots in about 60 /70s which i do not consider long
No not first boot all the time. My last one would take 2min+ and now the new nightly is over a min.
Is this generally regarded as as better or worse than the jellybro nightlies? I'm pretty new to custom ROMs!
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Anyone else noticing degraded camera picture quality? I'm seeing a significant drop in quality. Lots of noise in the resulting images.
Mine has been super fast, love it over stock jellybean

Thanks for this. I was using cm 9 nightlies for some time.
Firstly I tried a clean wipe with gapps. This caused a force close. Then rolled back and did a dirty flash without gapps. Had problems with sync etc. Last night did a full wipe with the correct gapps. Works like a dream.
However I cannot find Google now. I have tried gapps again but still not there. Any ideas were I can get it from?

Very fast and efficient, even the nightlies are extremely stable. No battery problems however it did randomly crash and reboot one a few times for no reason I assume it has or will be fixed in the future though

I've downloaded it, about to flash just waiting on my titanium backup to finish.
I got my gapps from goo-inside.me/gapps, hope it is the correct one

Also waiting for news on this.. Downloading as we speak...
I got stuck on 92% trying to download from rom manager. How are you guys downloading this?
I downloaded and flashed this nightly along with 7/26 Gapps from Goo.Im's app for JB. Everything working perfectly. Only thing I came across is that I flashed Franco's kernel, yet it shows Kernel Version as Unavailable in the About Phone section. Weird, but not noticing any problems.
I noticed on the splash/Boot logo it says cm9 huh?

Sorry, sort of fat fingered some unwanted characters in, edited the link, should work now.
I'm all up and running all going good, no dramas so far.
I've noticed that the option of having the torch on the notification widgets is greyed out, and the boot animation is fairly low framerate while booting. that's about all I've noticed though, so far so good. looking forward to flashing nightlies and seeing how this progresses

I posted this in the other two forums and didn't wanna leave you sprint folks out.
I have a fix for the lagginess in builds from the past week and a half or so. The culprit is the surface flinger library. It is the android compositing system and some changes recently made to it are responsible for the significant lag in recent builds. Most noticeable spot is if you hit the home button if you have the notification drawer down. It becomes extremely laggy without this patch. Scrolling is also less smooth whenever multiple things on the screen are being drawn. This fixes all those issues.
Just flash this in cwm or whatever recovery you choose. Should work on all cm10 builds and cm10 based roms like paranoid android.

Thanks. I was looking for hours trying to figure out why all the builds from past like august 22nd 23rd were really laggy. Figured it out after messing with files for hours and reading cm10s github and gerrit pages.

I love you. Does anyone in CM know about this issue? So that they can correct it?
For any fellow LMT users: This also seems to have drastically decreased the lag you get with your pie buttons (more specifically, the back button). I think Paranoid fans will dig it. I do!
Wow, I've been messing with every setting possible to fix the drawer from lagging the way it did knowing everything else was butter smooth. You have de-stressed me :'). Awesome Fix!
Just tried, figured what could go wrong. Great find instant notice improvement. This needs to be shared.

OMG! I have been downloading and flashing every few nightly update for the cm10 official ROM. The last one woke my galaxy s3 att up! It is the fastest I have ever seen, also showing jellybean build 4.1.2 in about screen. The phone seems twice as fast, I have been playing with about a dozen ROMs in the last few weeks and this new nightly is by FAR the best performer I have seen.

Hey guys and girls; with given permission from team sextape (Whom I love <3) I bring to you guys a ROM based on the official sprint 4.2.1 OTA update.
The following below were done:
* Deodexed
* Rooted + Busy box
* zipaligned
* Build edited to say by febby, you may edit this via build prop.
I believe that is about it. This is my first ROM ever posted but I assure you that it boots and works!
Known issues:
* Force close when adding widget to lock screen.
*Warning I am not held liable if your device stops working. I've tested this thoroughly with me and a friendly and it works!*
To install:
1. Download ROM zip and modem flash zip (Modem is optional).
2. Boot into recovery.
3. Make a backup of your current ROM
4. Wipe cache, dalvik, factory reset, and system. Just wipe all data except your SDcard/Internal.
5. Flash ROM zip and optionally install modem combo zip.
6. Enjoy, press thanks if you want.
7. Press on some ads on their site to help fund team sextape
Download links below:
**Click me to download ROM and Modem zip!**
Credits go to the following:

Thanks for the ROM. This is exactly what I was looking for. Just throwing my 2 cents, I found the official CM 10.1 nightlies to be more smoother and fluid than the Sprint stock 4.2.1. However I cannot attest to battery life due to the fact that I haven't ran both long enough to make ant valid conclusions. Thanks again OP and SexTape.

Here's a stock build of 4.4 for Toro that I'm trying right now. I've tried WiFi, 4G, 3G, gps, and bluetooth. Still a little flakey, and some graphics glitches. MAKE A BACKUP!
I've heard others having issues flashing in older versions of recoveries, so it'd be best to upgrade to the newest CWM.

I cannot get this to work for the life of me, TWRP always gives me an error message before it finishes flashing the rom. TWRP is then screwed up to the point that I can't wipe or restore anything until I dirty flash a 4.3 rom. No biggie though, I'm psyched we have builds to toy with this early! Thanks!
Edit: Perhaps I'll try CWM, though I haven't used it for ages.

Use CWM. I haven't used that in over 1 year, but flashed it real quick to try this out. Works perfect with it. Cant believe CWM has no implemented the ability to flash multiple .zips at the same time.
Any notable bugs? Does the camera work? That is an issue with another build I'm currently running.
