Just when we thought we were safe! Included is a direct link to the site I downloaded this from or you can use my dropbox link. Either way it's a pdf file. This is the latest quarterly report. http://www.f-secure.com/en/web/labs_global/whitepapers/reports Or dropbox

Anti virus went nuts clicking those links.
They are legit sites. From f-secure. You can go to their site and in search bar look for quarterly mobile malware
it's like 29 pages long and even lists some of the apps they hide in. It covers all phones but the Android used 20 of the pages i believe

i hate not being able to read sarcasm..
So, wait, one shouldn't install apps from unknown developers with poor descriptions, a ton of unnecessary permissions, and no reviews?
What's new here, exactly?

lol..i know right? Some were in the play store tho. I saw a post earlier about the black market and all i could do was shake my head. I'll admit..I used to use it but then I actually saw all the work these guys put into stuff and started to feel guilty. Stopped using it long ago.

1) How To Videos
2) Business Card
3) CodeRed
4) CabSG
& the above mensioned Comedy Time
i don't see those 3
Business Card
CodeRed
CabSG
maybe it's only for your version of the ROM
just like last time some one mentioned NavPhone
but that never showed up in America
I've just created a thread to post them.. but can't attach coz I'm over quota..
Edit: Uploaded them thru file sharing sites: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=8409337
It's still going up so might not be fully functional yet (link is for US).
http://www.windowsphone.com/en-US/marketplace
It works in Germany, I've already installed two apps just via the Web Marketplace.
The cloud is awesome
This is cool. You can install apps on the sly at work without looking at your phone
EDIT: On second thoughts, you still need to open the email on your phone and follow the standard process!
Seems to have gone wrong in the Uk, can't sign in (although it says I have)
Instead of working on this web marketplace, Microsoft should b working to enable the rest of the world to purchase apps.
Thus is ridiculous.

Yup its all gone pete tong in the uk, sorry, no it hasn't its come back

Love the Send to Windows Phone feature
Another great thing is that existing links continue to work.
For example this link for my own app originally opend Zune but now user's can check out and install apps from the web.
Not trying to spam with the link just wanted to provide an example.
This is awesome! I wish the Zune desktop marketplace worked this well.
Hello,
in these days, i flashed a rom - and forgot to install an adblocker.
the aggressive advertising is a reason for me to use adblockers, and many other only visit xda with adblocker.
a friend of mine (who had not blocked the 3rd party services. at his provider, has now an abbonement, where he pays
€.4. 99 A WEEK!
look the attached Screenshot and tell me what you think. plplease, admins, end aggressive advertising - you only will have more users with adblocker.
the following Screenshot is from a visit at xda. no fake?. translate the text in english and you'll get it that that advertising makes users like me and
my friend angry. VERY ANGRY!
note: with a simple click on that page, and you have a DAMN Abonnement!
my friend has activated his lawyer to get out of the abbonement. overthink your advertising!

that ad pop out without any warning.
USE ADBLOCKERS.
I'm sure the admins will remove this provider from the ad network soon. Thanks for the detailed description and screen shot.
the provider is "W2K Mobile" - and already tv programmes tried to stop em with reports on tv. just google "w2k abofalle" and translate the found sites... surprise...
XDA ADMINS, OVERTHINK YOUR STRATEGY.
I'm pretty sure the admins are aware and trying to deal with this but I'll raise the issue on your behalf.
Thanks.

I love my S4 because it has a huge screen, I also enjoy using the Illusion rom on it. I run have made an app and published it to the app store and figured I might share with you guys because it takes advantage of the big screen size.
My app displays technews from nearly 100% of all the major tech and gadget news sites. So essentially it is like an aggregator. I also have it up on the Amazon app store because a lot of the amazon users like to read stuff on their Kindle Fire.
My app displays the news in a clear, simple and well organized way. It is also fast loading and has no annoying ads that clutter the screen. It just has a single small Google adsense link ad. I am confident it will get great reviews and soon I will make one for the iPhone too.
There it is and enjoy.

Not sure why it's doing that for you, I just tested it numerous times. I uninstalled and then reinstalled. I have a Galaxy S4 I tested it on and it appears just fine. Try again, could be a play store error.
I'm on a factory unlocked note10+ with verizon service. Is there a way I can put the star wars theme on my phone?
You need to flash the firmware that contains such theme, there is a thread regarding this topic
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-10+/themes/star-wars-theme-galaxy-note-10-star-t4005689
Don't be lazy, do a search before openning a new thread

You say that, but even searching with the proper search terms brings up a result that is exactly what was linked to you.
Perhaps it is not the search that is at fault but the user performing the search, or lack there of.

Ok, but now that my phone has installed Android 10 & One UI 2 the theme I installed doesn't work. I didn't flash firmware, just created the theme. Is there a process to get the theme to work?
