hi there, guys...
can anybody please provide flashable (in CWM) version
of
stock I8150XXLA2_I8150ITVKK1_ITV.zip (italian one) or any other stock image
please?
i've searched the whole forum, but no lack.
Problem is usb is hard-broken, so noway to make handy recognisable by odin, no kies and no more system/data/ etc..
all i can try is to put a flashable stock-image.zip on an external sd card, and after a full wipe flash it over from exsdcard.
this, in order to reset the phone before assistance...
EDIT: Can anybody explain how to convert a .tar.md5 image to a cwm flashable...???
PLEASE HELP!
Thx
Nobody out there?????

Hello everybody
First I want to apologize for the possible mistakes i'm french and my english is not perfect.
I have made a huge mistake. I've take a ROM made for the Gnote 1 and flashed it on my GNOTE 2, I even flashed the kernel and the modem.
I've tried to solve the problem with KIES by restore the microsoftware but i have a permanent bootloop.
I hope that my phone is not dead.
If anyone have a solution it will be great.
Thanks by advance.
Are you able to access recovery and use odin?

Yes I can use Odin an Download Mode. But my fear is after the update via Kies i think that debug mode is not enable.
You don't need USB debugging to be enabled while flashing in download mode. Just get the official ROM tar for your specific version of cell and flash it through Odin. Get a complete ROM from reliable source which should also include modem.

Finally i send it to samsung because flash with odin give me the same issues bootloop
Hi everyone.
Samsung call me back to give me some news of my phone. They ask me 200$ to repair it, because they told me that the motherboard was damaged. Is there any solution ? They don't take the warranty because of the root. Is there a way to put the flash counter to zero with the recovery ? I mean flash a file by the recovery.
Thanks
Hi everyone,
I want to install TWRP, so I installed GooManager. The only problem is that when I want to Install OpenRecoveryScript it want to install the openrecovery-twrp-2.6.0.0-d2can.img and I want the openrecovery-twrp-2.6.0.0-d2tmo.img. I can't find anywhere how I can change the model number and was wondering if any of you could help me out.
My cellphone model number is SGH-T999V and I'm with Videotron.
Thank you,
Cope99
Just install via Odin. Or if you already have a recovery, flash the new one that way.
I think I've got that one both in zip and tar form if you follow the link in my sig.

Thanks, it work well using my custom recovery and the zip file from your signature.
Thanks again,

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2x GT-S7560M with CWM 5.0.0.4 (I believe) installed on it. My phone was crammed with apps and some system applications weren't working (messaging and dialer to be exact), probably because I removed some system apps without referring to the list of safe apps to remove.
I decided it would be best to just start over. I formatted the phone through cwm and tried to flash the original stock rom.
It displayed error in /sdcard/"name of rom".zip (status 0). Installation aborted.
Some extra information about the problem:
- It can't mount /emmc (I don't know what that is)
- It seems to be unable to mount the internal sd card because I tried flashing a zip from there, but it showed some sort of error.
I forgot to mention that I also checked for bad downloads, and have already tried formatting the sd card itself.

Bump.
Please......bump.
I think emmc is the internal sdcard, so it makes sense that u can't flash zips from there, but it doesnt seem right.
Are u able to go back to stock using Odin? and if so, will youur sdcards (both internal and external) work on that?
I'm sorry, but as my name suggests, I am a total noob. Is Odin, in a way, a recovery mode that can be launched from your computer? Will I be able to flash the stock rom though Odin? I never knew what Odin is, but I've heard little about it, sorry.

Yes, odin is a flashtool for samsung devices.
You can enter into download mode on your phone by pressing volume down+home+power (while vol up+home+power should be recovery)
Once in there, u connect it to the pc via usb, and then u can flash it via odin.
Get odin from this thread --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2189539
And samsung usb driver from this thread --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2038555
Once the usb drivers are installed, odin (when opened and phone is plugged in in download mode) will recognize your phone, indicated by a colored bar beneath the top left square (cyan if using 3.09 or 3.07)
then download your stock firmware from here http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ (search for "GT-S7560M") any unbraded will do.
once downloaded, open the AP or PDA button in odin (depends on what version you are using) and load the tar.md5 of the firmware u just downloaded into it.
to the left leave all unchecked except for auto-reboot and f. reset. time and then hit flash.
It will install stock firmware on your phone then
To be entirely sure u get it all right, use this guide too --> http://forums.androidcentral.com/sp...08-guide-how-flash-tar-files-odin-3-07-a.html.
Goodluck!
Thank you! I have one more question, after flashing the stock rom, will I be able to flash normally using recovery?

I don't actually own this model of ace II, so I can not say this with certainty, but I expect it to work again after flashing stock rom back via odin.
Then again, I do hope all has worked and u have found out by now
hi guys my girlfriends s3 soft bricked can access green android download screen and really need to get photos back as have babys first year on them!!! i tried looking and tried odin and holo but just cant seem to get anywhere sleepless nights and no eaten is taking its toll.... if anyone can help i would even pay if somone is in scotland/england..
thanks team
What model is the S3? If youre in England, its probably the international model which is in a different forum, just so you know.
Can you boot recovery? If you have the latest TWRP or maybe CWM installed, you could use the built in file manager to copy from the internal storage to the external sdcard.
Or if you have the sdk installed you could pull the folder using the adb pull command while connected to your computer.

Also, you should be able to Odin flash the official firmware. I know on the T999 model it doesnt wipe data, do the oics should remain intact.
Unless you were on a custom rom, then you may have to factory reset which would wipe data...

thanks for fast reply yeh im in scotland will check forum. i installed sdk but get error message when try to open it? tbh im justb getting to grips with all this i dont know what twrp or cwm are sorry
sorry further reading i see what cwrm is but its all stock firmware and can only acces download screen
Not sure about the error, but there are tons of tutorials and guides for getting that set up.
Twrp and cwm are custom recoveries. These are used to flash roms and mods, nandroid backups and are just a valuable tool.
TWRP = Team Win Recovery Project
CWM = Clockwork Mod

You probably need to ask in tge international forum for this. Unless youve somehow screwed up the partitions you shouldn't need the pit file. DO NOT use a PIT file from anything but your exact model phone! Also, DO NOT flash anything you find in this forum or you are likely to hard brick!
Only flash stuff from the I9300/I9305 forum.
In my sig, go to the firmware thread and see my instructions for Odin there. Im assuming, not guaranteeing, that it should be the same for your phone. Id verify first, but do not select anything in odin except f reset time, auto reboot and PDA.
I would look for a guide for Odin in your models forum instead tbh.

If you are able to access download mode then you are able to connect to your phone through adb. First, if you you connect the phone to your pc you can easily pull the photos off of the phone. I would do that first of course before anything. Then of course flash through odin.

He tried but gets errors on the sdk. I already told him to search out and check one of the many guides/threads for installing and using the sdk/adb.

Hey guys,
A lot of people have been hard bricking their device, a lot more than usual, probably because Kit Kat touches the bootloader, so i'm simply asking to you prevent and keep and image of your system dump on your SD card using this tool.
In case of a hard brick, this will allow you to restore your system image and potentially save you big $$$.
This only works if you are already on 4.4
Simply flash this in recovery, save it on internal SD then copy to external SD and keep a copy on your PC

Thanks to ValenteL for modifying this tool to work on our Note 3
Does this work for any Rom?

This can be used on any stock based 4.4 firmware. The rom doesn't matter because the files it copies are core OS files that are found in any rom
This tool just saved a guy that bricked while trying to downgrade from 4.4 to 4.3

I'm not sure I understand something. I flashed the file in Recovery, now what? Is there an output file? What is it's name?
Thanks
It should be debrick.img
Tell me if you don't find it
