Someone had said the site or link had been hacked it been this way for quite some time no clue why it hasn't been pulled seems pretty stupid truthfully find another rom ... if I may suggest this would be my pick http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1778010
I also recommend twa's ROM. Hash's is nice, just too stock for my needs.

Most of you guys probably only want AOSP, but for those of you with extra time on your hands and with nothing else to do I present to you my first ROM, built from Shipped ROM.
The ROM is completely zipaligned, deodexed, and most Verizon Bloatware apk.s are removed. If there are any remaining, please let me know in the comments.
This should be one of the fastest Stock ROMs available. I know other people may have created the same kind of ROM, but please, don't flame on me.
Of course, this ROM still runs Android 2.2.1, however I hope to update that in future test version, as well as AOSP.
I also must warn you, the file size is a gigantic 240MB. If all goes well with this test ROM, AOSP will be next

this not meant to flame at all, but since gingerbread is official and has been for awhile, why would you be working on froyo at all?
its not like gb was a leak that has random bugs and froyo is a better option

I was wondering if someone could give me a few basic tips on porting a rom. There arent very many roms for our phones but i would like to port a few that i like. (specifically from international GSII) Ill take any help, thanks
If you are looking to flash a rom, there are some detailed instructions in the Dev forum. In particular the thread for the Starburst rom. The first post has all the downloads you will need and there are some more detailed instructions on one of the posts from October 10th or 11th. Your device will of course need to be rooted in order for this to work.

Porting from international version is going to be really difficult due to the different radio's in it, and you would never get WiMax to work if you tried, even if you got it to boot up
my reccomendation would be to try grabbing a rom you like from another CDMA/WiMax Samsung device and try it, except the only one would be the Epic 4G, and the slideout keyboard orientation might ruin some stuff when porting....... so at this point, unfortunately, i dont think porting a rom is in anyones future for a little while at least til we get an AOSP kernel
cheers!
im trying to port cm10/jelly bean but have had no luck. i got it to boot but it gets to the launcher and reboots im using the kernel from cm9 alpha6 any ideas/input on kernel that would be better to use or what i may be doing wrong ive never ported anything to the epic touch but i assume its not much different than motorola photon any help would be great thanks in advance
You might want to pm agat63 or chris41g as they have been all over kernel development around here lately and would probably be best equipped to give you an answer... or get at mijjahz or bigtoysrock as team noc has been working on a jb port as well

I hope this doesn't read wrong, if it does I apologize. The only option I know of right now is mijjahs as his team is working on jb port right now. But if there kernel isn't compatible with cm10 you have no options. Porting a ROM, especially one of a different OS version requires extensive development because you are taking a ROM from another phone and trying to get it working on our phone. Here is the part that I hope doesn't come across wrong. If you are capable of doing that I would expect that you know exactly what you need to get a working kernel done. Which begs the question, are you actually developing a cm10 port for our phones or are you just trying to install a cm10 build from somewhere else? Again please don't take that wrong. I am just trying to figure out what you are doing because if you are just trying to install one don't. You will likely permanently brick your phone. But if you are actually developing a cm10 build for us great! Start with mijjahs.

Jelly Bean..4.1.2 to be specific. Runs well for this limited device. Sense is bloated garbageware imo..wont use it. 4.2 Jelly Bean is not far behind sense as far as being resource hungry. Once you install a few apps,it turns into crap like sense. So for me its 4.1.2 or best case scenario a working cm9 ics or lower. Which we do not have that is bug free that is.
CM9 for me.Though it is buggy, i find the audio more clear and less distorted, but the graphic glitches in kangbang are just killing it.If I had to go for JB slimbean it is.
I had good experience using Sense (with the latest update!): the battery lasts longer than with CM10.1, the sound of Beats Audio with my Philips Headphone is very good and the User Interface is well-thought.
But the Interface has more lags than 4.1.2, and Google Now will never work on it.
So both Systems has pros and cons.
jb .....
Shpongle :victory:
Sense for me becuase of the stability and camera. I do like JB though.

Do you think it'd be possible to fix the bugs in cm9? Cuz I would LOVE to have a fully working cm9 it would be amazing!! I am willing to help in any way possible, keeping in mind that I'm in school and busy a lot... oh and I've tried building cm9 based on the tutorial simon put up but ended up with WAY more bugs than the one that's released even has, so idk where to go from there...
any ideas?

everything else depends upon you.
u might want to download and flash or check fw files and libs by decmpiling if its legit or not.

Three developer/teams work on that leak and you can find all three here on XDA, why do you have doubts?
Even google will show you the same result if you try in several languages.
Samsung is preparing 4.4 for note 2... but they want to test it before they release it fully.... so they unofficially leak it to some sources so that it falls into the best of the devs hands and any bugs could be rectified for free....xda is a free testing ground for them...xda guys are happy to test and get the latest build before it is available.... and Every one wins

I think it's legit man, KK on the Notw 2 with dn3 magic is really awesome!
Thanks for the update.
Thanks for the update Sir,
I can not do any development related work, hence the question.
I 100% trust you.
Question was raised only becoz it was not available anywhere else. Today I will try to use DN3 Kitkat.
Thanks once again.
