i've ordered the motorola so ill update when its here
wanted a full size one

motorola "zoom?" and mouse combo work a treat and have working android keys, ill take a pic and model number later

A have Logitech DiNovo Edge. Works perfectly, both keyboard and trackpad.
Once I have conected my One X on TV using the HDMI connection, combined with dinovo keyboard+trackpad... felt like a pretty nice desktop PC for surfing and movies.

Bluetooth Keyboard(mini) and Mouse WORKING
Just to let you all know , so you don't waist money like i did buying stuff that doesn't work . After buying 3 mini keyboard's and 2 different mouse , I've finally found 2 that to me , Work Perfect . hocked up to my TV with either HTC media link or HTC MHL adapter it's like turning my ONE_X into a desk top . Ok , not quite as good , but i love my gadget's , and this way i'm getting more out of my phone . At first the keyboard seemed small (about the same size as HTC Sensation) but after using it for 30 mins it felt like i'd been using it for ages . when my kid's have taken over my laptop and i need to use it , i can now sit back on the sofa and use a 32insh screen . The mouse is LOGITECH V470 (brilliant) and the mini keyboard is K1580 MINI BT KEYBOARD (wicked little bit of kit) both found on AMAZON . The Mouse was knocked down from £35 to £22 and the Keyboard was knocked down from £20 to £8 , Can't complain at that price.

I bought the hdmi connector and it's not bad, but a bit disappointed Doesn't quite show full screen, the edges are slightly cut off on all sides - my tv is insignia 720 plasma tv.

Just tried it with my 55in 1080p led tv and it worked good. In 1080p it clipped the bottom notifications bar a bit but video and games looked good. The screen kept trying to time out early though even set to 30 minutes.

skype with TV and bluetooth
Yeah, i got the HDMI dock for the old 7 inch tab and i modified it so as to fit my 10.1 tab. I have to say it works really well. I used it with SKYPE and it worked well. The image of my GF was projected to my 32 inch samsung TV.
Another likkle update. I have maganed to connect my bluetooth keyboard, mouse and bluetooth Hi-Fi wireless Headset all at once and they all work together without any sluggishness/delay. The bluetooth headphones adapter i use is the sony ericsson MW600. Its also works well with SKYPE calls. This is great as i can skype downstairs in the kitchen while my tab is in my room on my dock. Happy day.
NB oh, can the iPad othis? I dont think so.
Good to know if my MBP goes down I'm still in business with another mobile system. Loving how powerful the 10.1 Tab is.

Bluetooth Android Keyboard

Hi guys,
Do any Note owners use a bluetooth keyboard? (and mouse?)
Instead of buying a PC for my bedroom which I don't really need, I am just gonna connect my Note to my TV using the HDMI cable but it would be nice if I had a decent keyboard and mouse to use when browsing the web. They do not have to be tiny since they will be used at home but does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks!
Pictures, videos, links welcome.

Honestly man they all work equally well. I have the Motorola BT keyboard and it's very comfortable. It includes the media features like the play/pause/stop/skip/and volume as well as some shortcut buttons for the browser, music, back, and home button. It's nice and easy to use. I also have the logitech mouse and it works nicely. But it's really up to what would be most comfortable to you as they all work pretty much the same.

Any other recommendations for a bluetooth keyboard & mouse set for the Galaxy Note???

I have the logitech keyboard and it does not work with the stock rooted GB note OOTB. I am waiting for ICS to troubleshoot it if I will even need to. Supposedly it will work with anything above android 3.0. It does come with a very nice multi-function case/stand though, so when it does work with the note I will probably begin carrying it instead of my laptop.

Bluetooth Mouse - no pointer

I have bought a speedlink Bluetooth mouse. The mouse pairs using 0000 and says connected, but there is no pointer. I have connected a Bluetooth keyboard to the One X and it works perfectly...
does anyone have any suggestions how I can get this working?
Im pretty sure you cannot use a mouse, I may be wrong though.
Because even on a Win7 Tab I attempted many different mice, and NON of them displayed a "pointer", but yet, keyboards as you say worked.
I believe a Bluetooth mouse works on the Galaxy S3 as I have seen you tube videos of it working.... I should have got an S3...the HTC one X does not even do OTG with USB memory stick.... very poor the the cost of this device... thats like buying a PC and the USB slot has no host support... very poor from HTC...

Well, really, it's more like buying a touch screen phone and wondering why it's not a PC.
using a mobile phone as a pc is the future. I have a cradle, everyone will be doing it soon and using a keyboard and mouse... this can be done on a S3...
just wast to move with the times... or am i ahead?
I got it working on my China Phone Star B92M. But now i updated my android, i can still connect the mouse and see the HID icon and if i click the mouse works..... only i see no pointer??
phone updated to jelly bean and still the mouse connects but no pointer...
I gave the mouse to a mate who has an S3 and a Nexus 7 and the mouse works not not the mouse at fault....
any suggestions????

I agree. This 30 pin connector, proprietary charging, no HDMI, coupled with no JB 4.2 so no miracast, this is one disconnected, connected, wired and shackled but supposedly mobile device.
I've only had it for three weeks and I miss a more connected, but liberated device.
It's frustrating cause this could be soooooo good.

my playbook, and my note 2 use 2 amp chargers. I just lucked or on the 30 pin connector because I had a mini usb to 30 pin connector for my tab 2 7.0, and an extra cable.
The tf300 was a dream to type on with the dock, but honestly, my note 10.1 kicks the crap out of it. The oem cover works great, with the exception of a lot of e's that come out 3.

I had no idea that this was happening.
It would be awesome if Samsung could come up with a transformer-esque type of keyboard/cover, or even a touch-cover like the Surface.
It makes the idea of a "Note netbook/laptop" a good one, but with two separated accessories i.e. stand + bluetooth keyboard, that idea is gone.
Shame :/
The tablet must be a tablet, not a computer if you want a computer buy it separately. A tablet is made for commands through touchscreen, if you want to have a tablet with dock keyboard buy a tablet-pc ( i own one..)

Eh? I can find the Samsung connector (which is actually a standard called "PDMI") just about anywhere (at least in the States), I've got more charger options now than i had with my Moto Xoom, especially if you buy one of these. HDMI and AllShare Cast work on my device, too.
I've used 4.2 and we're not really missing much useful save the multi-user feature.
I have 4 BT Keyboards, including one with a built-in stick mouse and a cover that folks to make a stand; the combo (which is light enough I carry it around in a case with my Note) gives me everything I could get with the KB dock except maybe charging and it's apparently more portable as well.
I'd say we're pretty well-connected

This. I've been able to travel with only my tablet (on certain business trips even) and have most of what i'd needed to do be accessible that way.
I went to verizon yesterday & saw a Samsung branded Keyboard dock for the Tab10.1. I tried it with the display model Tab 2 10.1 & it fit. I thought that the Tab 210.1 & the Note 10.1 were the same size. I was gutted to find it was not. It works if you pull out the plastic guide/holder, but then it is kind of flimsy in there. Bummer.
Wasnt there a rumor somewhere that one of Samsungs next tablets was going to be transformer-esque? I could have sworn I read something a few months ago about it.

Well, with the GNote 10.1 LTE coming to VZ soon, I'd expect they'd be getting accessories there, too (and likely to be hugely overpriced), so I'd come back again a little while after the GNote's available in VZ stores.
Tempted to grab one off ebay. What can I say, sometimes I get typity.

That sounds sort of narrow-minded in my opinion. Why can't a tablet be both or why can't a computer be a tablet? For an artist like me, I would love the opportunity if tablets got powerful enough to rival their notebook counterparts and offered a desktop view as well as for easy access with a keyboard and trackpad.
With the move of ultrabooks , especially the Surface Pro, converging into tablet territory with full features, one must consider that to be a blessing than a curse. Think about it in this way: Would you carry a radio, cd player , portable DVD player with TV, game system and an ereader just to be able to use them, or would you opt for the simpler solution of an all in one deal? That is the number one reason why the iPod took off: portability. Not only can you get a radio, but a music player and now video, games and reading.
It gets roughly cumbersome to carry every single CD, DVD ,game cart/disc in addition to the hardware , let alone the books for brief reading in commutes in comparison to an all out deal.
For the average consumer and artist, such things are so hard to get that it is pushed towards the rich ,but now similar tech now exists that has the potential to allow for maximal power and capability and the ability to change form factors on the fly. Why should people have to be inconvenienced to buying several different products that can be brought under one device when it can be deducted into one singular product that is amazing and does it all , broadly speaking?
If we went by this flawed logic an mp3 player must play music only, but no radio , thus how would iPods and whatnot be popular if they didn't serve multiple functions simply?

Thanks.....I think. Glad to hear about the PDMI. Just have to figure out how to use it.
What I was trying too say is everything is an add on so my kit ends up being as bulky as my ultrabook and far more prone to losing some piece that makes the whole thing work. my last tablet logged about 100k+/- frequent flyer miles. Using one power brick with one power end, one multi headed usb, one multi headed hdmi, one universal battery charger brick fit neatly in an airplane amenity bag, and served two cameras, one phone and a tablet. Needed no OTG cable to get the CF card reader seen by the tablet. Because I have a GNex, I already have a data/sync switch on my usb cable.
The cameras are the hardest and heaviest to carry.
So far, I've had to add another amenity kit to add the adapters for the Note. And I still don't have a way of using it to run a projector or tv. My phone ends up doing that.

Just bought one, stock is running out everywhere.
Time to think about soldering a split cable data/charging, and if that works hdmi.

Maybe its just a software failure... but it can be something else too.

looks like Boart fell for it too, I thought you were talking about the controller, but upon actually reading the thread instead of skimming it, I determined you were actually talking about the wifi adapter that plugs into the USB port (at least that is what my second look at the thread told me) although on second thought that seems a bit silly since it has internal wifi... now I am confused...
If this is a controller post, then the wired 360 one works great, only no menu button is mapped apparently... I have not tried with a LAN cable connected though.
The wireless worked perfect with menus I had to make sure Ethernet wasnt plugged in when booting I think I took HDMI out too, wired PDP 360 controller however did work but right analog kept spinning in Minecraft and the triggers didn't work
