I had a Middle-East ROM in my WFS, then I unlocked bootloader from HTCDev.com, success. Then I rooted using One Root for WFS 1.5 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1678421), Success! The rooting process was invloved with CWM, applied a Root.zip from SD. But I never installed a custom recovery.
Then I removed some stock apps, I got screwd and bootlooped. Then I downloaded a RUU HTC EU 2.26 Stock (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1688508) and extracted contents, then flashed the Boot.img and System.img using Flashy Tool GUI (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1467356). The process was, VOL_DOWN + PWR to stock recovery -> Fastboot_USB -> then everything from Flashy_GUI.
Everything went fine, working as usual. But in Settings -> SD & phone storage under Internal storage there is an new item Optimize storage (defragment) if it clicked the phone will confirm for defragmentation, after pressing YES a progress circle (not %) comes showing Power off then it automatically reboot to ClockWorkMod Recovery!!!!!!!! This CWM is fully functional even can backup ROM image, format partitions ect.... But if I used VOL_DOWN + PWR it will comes to Fastboot. How this happen? How the two recovery exits same time?? when I get the next FOTA from HTC, will this cause any errors??
This is normal as far as I know. Its the same on mine anyway lol
The voldown + power goes to bootloader, not recovery. Correct me if I'm wrong

Also, never accept FOTA from HTC if you're rooted. It unroots and also possibly worse.

then what is the currect way to enter into recovery mode in WFS?
I was rooted only once, but after bootlooped I flashed the unrooted stock image
In bootloader mode highlight recovery using volume up/down and press the power button.

I ask for the delay, it was not possible to write.
I tried to put CWM in several ways: 1) through cmd

The second had 2 options: 1) Phone hangs on parsing ...

Go to this thread. Worked for me

im coming from an Optimus V, which i rooted and romed no problem.
now with this HTC One V... it's difficult. i successfully root, but when i tried installing a rom and failed... now my phone won't start. i tried recovering, it's stuck at the boot up screen.
when ever i boot now, it shows the loading screen to recovery, then tries to boot like normal and just hangs.
i've never installed a custom kernel before, maybe i messed up there?
What ROM did you flashed?
Due to the One V still being S-ON, you will need to manually flash the kernel using fastboot the same way you flash a custom recovery

-update-

Boot loops and stuck at boot screen is no problem at all, you just need to flash the right kernel via fast boot

To explain better than if you were using the cm10 made by jmztaylor, it says that the kernel (boot image) is inside the zip of the rom. Until the phone is s-on you will always have to open the zip file of the rom and extract the boot.img (or "kernel name".img) in the fastboot folder on your computer. Then if you are using windows 7 (as I do) just run the cmd, go to the fastboot folder (with the cd command, like mine is cd desktop then I do cd fastboot because my fastboot folder is on the desktop) then connect the phone tu the pc and enter the bootloader, it should say fastboot USB, all you have to do is type in the cmd fastboot flash boot boot.img (or" kernel name".img), when it finishes, just reboot the phone and it will work perfectly! You have to do this with every rom until the phone is s-on!

I'm having real trouble with my Wildfire S.
I unlocked the bootloader and rooted it last week. Installed the wildchild custom ROM and the jellybelly wifi only rom, as I only want the phone to run one app. Started to remove some of the bloatware. Everything seemed to be going okay, until I then tried to instal XBMC on it aswell (was bored at work and wanted to watch the football!) but that was a big mistake as straight after trying to reboot in just got stuck in the white screen with green HTC logo.
Now I've searched and search this forum, following various tutorials on repairing bootloop, unbricking re-flashing... everything, but nothing seems to be working.
I had installed cwm and backed up, created a nandroid. But it all seems to have disappeared from the sd card, so now can't get into recovery to install the back up. A lot of the guides I've looked at require the phone to be on to enable usb debugging etc but the phone won't start up. Which also means I can't create a goldcard.
The only thing that seems to be doing anything is running the RUU, but it gets so far and comes up error 155, and says to find the correct RUU. So, I found my RUU on HTCDEV, its the UK O2 ROM, but when I un-zipped the file, it comes as a bunch of files and folders, not the .exe as the other one was. So how do I run it, is there another programme I need?
I'm really stuck, and can't find the answer anywhere on this forum.

Okay, so I have no idea what has just happened, but, I tried to get into recovery again and cwm was working, so I've reflashed Wildchild and its all working again. So I guess something from the countless tutorials/guides I've been following has worked.
So, I'm going to start from the begining, as I've relocked the bootloader and unrooted at some stage.

You could make wipe from hboot and see if it take something.. and you can install cwm using one package "PG76IMG.zip" in the root of the phone, but remember you will need to delete it

That is impossible. With a locked bootloader is not possible to flash partitions in fastboot. You must have been unlocked already and therefore the HTCdev error.

HOW TO INSTALL CWM?
Unlock your bootloader else flashing via fastboot will be impossible
Upgrade your phone to the latest available stock rom (to get latest bootloader and baseband firmware)
Download ClockworkMod Recovery for your specific variant
Reboot into your bootloader (Variant 1: adb reboot bootloader, Variant 2: Disconnect USB-Cable, Power phone down, hold Vol- and replug the USB-Cable)
Flash ClockworkMod Recovery via fastboot. (fastboot flash recovery cwm-6.0.5.1_2015XXXX_h60_lXX.img)
Reboot (fastboot reboot)
WHERE TO GET CWM?
For Lollipop (Android 5.1, EMUI >= 3.1) based ROMs:
H60-L02 + H60-L03 + H60-L11 + H60-L12 + H60-L21: not available yet
H60-L01 + H60-L04: cwm-6.0.5.1_20150926_h60_l04_lollipop.img
For Kitkat (Android 4.4, EMUI <= 3.0) based ROMs:
H60-L02 + H60-L03 + H60-L11 + H60-L12 + H60-L21: cwm-6.0.5.1_20150321_h60_l02.img - 9.43 MB
H60-L01 + H60-L04: cwm-6.0.5.1_20150321_h60_l04.img - 9.43 MB
HOW TO USE CWM?
- First variant: Power off phone, then hold Volume+ and Power Buttons at same time till Honor logo appears
- Second variant: adb reboot recovery
Thanks. Good work. Any chance of increasing the font size?

CWM -6.0.5.1_20150321_h60_l04.img DOESN'T WORK
Hello, I flashed CWM -6.0.5.1_20150321_h60_l04.img onto my device H60-L04 after unlocking the bootloader. I tried both ways i.e by manual command line as directed by Codeworkx in the first post , which how ever didn't work... every time I hold down the power button + volume up button the phone goes into boot loop constantly displaying the HONOR logo for 3 times then boots back into the ROM, after many tries I thought of doing the same using Multitool which also results into same outcome, forcefully I had to flash cwm 6.0.5.0 from Multitool and it works properly though I haven't tried flashing custom ROM on the device yet. Please advise what could be wrong as I'm not able to figure out as I dont want to brick my device. I'm currently on EMUI 2.3 rooted using multitool.

L04 yes? Download this: http://d-h.st/qErv (credits go to codeworkx). Extract update.app to your internal storage or micro-sd card in a directory named dload. Turn the phone off then hold all 3 buttons (power and volume +/-) for 5 seconds. Once it boots up it will install a fresh version of B370. This should wipe everything so make a backup first.
You don't need to relock anything.
Currently I have a B390 and CWM 6.0.5.1 ( codeworx ) . If I want to come back from B390 to B380 , it should now upload Stock recovery for B380 or B390 ? I Loading both and unroot and constantly throws me an error in recovery during installation B380.

Admin please delete this post .
Could you add support for the CUST partition ? This partition is not included in the backup and is not available for format. This feature could be usefull because the partition has 512MB and a custom rom could use it to add stuff.
