Ok so i am looking to port over a manufacturer app from a ASUS Transformer Infinity TF700T to the Samsung Galaxy S3 SPH-L710.
i know there are an assortment of file manager apps on the market but the one that is native to the infinity is just awesome no adds and gets to root without any issues does everything i want it too.

Here at XDA various input devices has its own forum for mods, hacking tools, apps, themes.
Only Galaxy 5 that has not yet, I think he deserves, has enough potential and good hardware.
How about that?
So nobody here uses Galaxy 5?

I'm wondering if its possible to chane the custom ROMS so that most annoying advertisements will be blocked.
For the HD2 this was just a small script to alter dns config for advertisements.
It would be great to have that in the ROMS for the Galaxy Nexus. Im tryin to reache a friend of mine to get a sample script and will post it when recieved.
P.s. my appologys if this is in the wrong forum section

Wrong section, belongs in Q&A
Why not just use AdFree or AdAway?

You should be banned from Android Market. The only income that i get from my apps are from ads if you block it, you will ruin the freemium distribution model...

Hi !
This website has tons and tons of guides on how to build ROMs and kernels for devices.
You can try to use this thread to look for various types of guides , from theming to using the repo tool.. it has a link to a guide for almost everything : Guide Ride by NickHalden
Alternatively you could try learning about android development from the xda-university ... which also contains various guides about ROM , kernel compilation and their development.
Also you can Search for whatever guide you need.
Next time around whenever you are asking a question related to android please try to post in the Q and A section cause it may attract more answers to your question than this forum which is for topics related to the xda-developers' site as a whole which includes development for a huge variety of devices.
