Did you uninstall the bloatware before or after installing the Sonic rom? If before and then you flashed sonic, then the rom would have put back any stock bloat that came with it.
OR
Did your titanium back up have all the bloatware backed up and then when you reinstalled everything from Titanium it all reappeared.
OR
Maybe you have gremlins, try a factory reset and reinstalling everything. It's a pain.

system will not wipe completely, even after returned to stock.

This is the weirdest thing, I can't figure it out. I flashed cm7 ran it for a while. I wanted to go back to sense, so I flashed the pbimg for cwm 2.5 through hboot. Data reset, wiped cashe, wiped dalvik. Flashed inc rom 1.5 and after boot downloaded root explorer to remove my bloatware. I noticed I stll had the gb apk's. Obviously, didn't wipe right so booted recovery wiped everything ,flashed again. Still there. after several wipes and re-flashes, they would keep popping back up after reflash. So I went back to cwm 3 wiped and reflashed same issue. So after several times I decided since it wasn't affecting the rom I deleted the apk's I attempted to just keep it. Ran it for a while. Then I came across lcd density changer on app brain so installed it. It looked nice. Until I seen my widgets were all screwed up. So I went back to the default 240. They were still screwed up. so wipe and re-flash, still the same. I got tired of the headache and decided to just restore to stock. So, I restore to stock through hboot. Ran unrevoked . Got into recovery downloaded a fresh copy of inc rom wiped, flashed, got root explorer got root explorer. Guess what, the gingebread system files still mixed in with the inc rom files and widgets are still messed up. Now I'm just scratching my head. Anyone got a clue whats going on?
Try with CWM 3.0.0.7
New ROM's om CWM 2 and CWM 3.0.0.8 do not wipe correctly
The 3.0.0.7 did wipe it. Thanks man. I got it wiped, but I'm still trying to figure out how the hell the cm files stuck around after I restored back to stock .

Quick Settings causing FCs

I just flashed the Quick Settings for Official GB OTA (4.06.605.2).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1239820
Now I'm getting the following error every couple seconds. "The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly." I have cleared the cache and the dalvik cache. Is there anything I can do short of factory reset or restoring a backup to get rid of this error?
Not likely since you flashed something over top of your rom set up. Just bite the bullet and revert to a backup or reflash the rom.
I flashed this earlier today and I haven't had that FC issue. Any other mods installed?

I backed up everything with Titanium and did a factory reset. That seemed to fix the problem but after I restored my apps I started to get FCs again. I just wiped everything and flashed McSense v1.2 and the Quick Settings on top of that. Rebooted and everything works good. I'm going to re install everything from market rather than restore from backup.
Also, it helps to backup only user apps and some data. Avoid system days if you were restoring any.

Phone Memory = ROM, Super Wipe can't delete anything.

Hey..
I downloaded Super Wipe for Desire HD, so I can install newer ROM, but after running it, it tells me that everything was a success, but when I restart my phone, nothing have been deleted, all my programs, rom, system files and everything else is still there.
Any ideas why's that?
ps. My phone is ****ed up, Sense not working, everything is crashing every second and so on.. I even have to restart it every 30 minutes so it works.. And 50% chance that It will not turn on, it will just vibrate 7-8 times and will stuck at HTC logo. That's why I want to re-install it.
EDIT: I just tried to delete some applications (swiftkey and others). I deleted them succesfully. I also changed wallpaper. But when I restarted my phone, all those applications were installed again and I had old wallpaper.. Maybe my phone memory is read-only?

have u flashed superwipe before flash the new ROM?
I'm not really good in this, all I did was upload the both, super wipe and rom to SD. I ran the Super Wipe thru recovery and it told me that everything have been wiped and phone restarted back in recovery. I saw in recovery that free space on phone memory haven't changed, so I tried to boot the phone normally and it worked.. I tried to wipe the phone about 5 times..

Did you get superwipe from here? http://goo.gl/hWSCt
Just in case you should redownload superwipe. Also download and install a different ROM like Blackout ICS: http://tinyurl.com/9rltovs
If you decide to install the Blackout-- you must use the AROMA installer to wipe and format. Also do NOT select the "FINISH" button at the end of the installation-- but hit your back button and select reboot from recovery.
In Gingerbread-- I like the CoreDroid v9.4 ROM as well: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=965207&highlight=coredroid
You say you flashed superwipe, did you actually go into recovery and select install zip file? Superwipe will take about 3-5 mins to wipe everything out. Again, sorry if I'm being parochial, but I just want to be clear.
If that doesnt work do it manually.

Superwipe took about 20 seconds to delete everything (well.. to tell that it deleted, but did not really). And yes, I downloaded it from there. And yes, I installed from recovery by choosing Install zip file.
...
download revolution hd superwipe. It will help you. and change the sensor. IT's not expensive. :good:
I tried everything.. Starting from Superwipe and Recovery built-in wipe and ending with Factory reset.. Nothing can be deleted, settings doesn't save, everything is crashing, USB doesn't work (can't connect to PC to upgrade the firmware), its hard to turn on phone and so on..
I'm really starting to give up.

[Q] Backup not working with new custom ROM

Hello
last night I tried installing the carbon rom for my Note 2 N7100. (v1.8 Release stable build)
Everything wen't fine but I used titanium backup to backup my files and I also have a backup with CWM. I cleared all data/factory reset and wipe cache plus I installed the 4.2.2 gapps. The OS worked completely fine but when I used titanium backup to restore all apps and system data, It asks to restart which I did and when I restarted my phone the startup time took 25 minutes+ so I knew something wen't wrong. I rebooted into recovery and wiped cache and data reset again but I'm still having issues. I forgot to mention I tried using titanium backup and just restoring system data and not the apps.
I decided to do a restore completely using the CWM backup then I flashed 4.3 gapps to get it back up to date. However, when I tried to startup my phone, gapps isn't working properly and keeps popping up com.process.gapps or something like that has stopped. Usually this means the wrong version of gapps is installed but I've tried reflashing it incase I had a bad flash but that didn't work either.
I'm now using carbon rom without any of my previous system data or apps.
What can I do?
Thanks

OP3 freezes and reboots after boot on Custom ROMs

Hello!
Recently I unlocked the bootloader and flashed twrp on my phone...
I decided to try Sultan's CM13 because it's very popular... I downloaded it, flashed it, along with Gapps, and everything was good...
Then, I decided... I want to try a new ROM.
So, I went in, wiped everything besides internal storage then went to flash the ROM and Gapps...
Everything was good (optimizing and booting wise) then I got in to the system setup....
5-10 seconds after I got into system setup (Language selection and such), my whole phone froze, then rebooted... It did this on a continuous cycle, so I decided to wipe dalvik + cache, and to no avail, it still froze my phone and restarted it...
I decided to restore to the back up I made (OOS 3.2.4) and it works fine there, but any custom ROM breaks my phone, I've tried Resurrection Remix with Mini Gapps, and Sultan's CM13 with Full Gapps, and vise versa...
Help? Thanks!
got the same problem after flashing CM 13....

I'll tell you what, this is the only situation where saying "try something different" is valid. So, there you have it.
To flash between different roms you have to wipe everything so do a titanium backup of all your apps them full wipe flash the new ROM and then restore your apps with titanium

I don't care about apps, however, If I wiped internal, wouldn't it get rid of all my Roms, and my backups?

If you just do a standard wipe without going into advanced on twrp you will be fine.
