I just flashed a new ROM, installed tapatalk, logged in to xda forum, and when I click profile -- posts, it says 'user has no posts'. It has never done that before and I have flashed ROMs and reinstalled tapatalk many times.
I even just made a post since reinstalling the app and it still says no posts.
Any advice please?

I have the same with me, so it must be the app malfunctioning.

Definite app issue
Ditto. Started today, Aug. 6. For a while I couldn't even access XDA with either Tapatalk or XDA Premium, but could through browser.
It's app issue. Both my nexus and transformer pad can't access my posts
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
It's "not" an app issue. It's on the xda side. I use Tapatalk for many forums and xda is the only one not showing user posts.

Same here. I thought I got banned or something at first which made Me confused since I didn't do anything wrong.
All my post & topics are still on XDA ybe website version.
This started yesterday morning on Aug 6th.

If I have helped you.... hit that sexy thanks button. ^_^
I checked over in the generic XDA Q&A forum. Some modifications are in progress on the XDA Tapatalk module, and it's causing some problems with search and finding your own posts in Tapatalk and XDA app. They're on it and working to resolve it.
I am using Galaxy S2 but having same problem ...

Hello, I'm coming to you live from tapatalk.
Also this shouldn't be in the development section.

I hope you get banned for posting this here.
Notice to anyone: To get it to show, clear cache/data of the app and it will work......
The current XDA Android app isn't optimized for Android tablets or Android 4.0 for that matter. Maybe this this thread could get the ball rolling on both of those things.
There's already a thread about the xda app, so you should comment in there. It's a sticky thread in this very forum.
Also, the xda app isn't made by xda developers.

I noticed those aspects after I posted too. I guess I should reserched a bit more before posting. Can a Mod please delete this thread.

I found an apk for Tapatalk HD in the Galaxy Tab 10.1 forum, which is what I'm guessing the xda developers tablet app will be based on.

Thanks for the link. I downloaded it and tried it. I've only got the 7" tab, but it's running ICS at 160dpi, so it knows it's a tablet (gmail runs in tablet mode, for example). I can't see a single thing different from the current Tapatalk app. Seriously, can you see any difference at all?
Ya, I was pretty disappointed with the app as well. The only difference I see is the action bar on top, and no more menu button next to the on screen multitasking button.

i think that xda should put something on the main page asking that if developers want to they can start a collaborative project to creat one independent XDA app. Just think about how amazing a xda app would be due to the amazing developers here, and a tablet version is also due, the current version wont even run on my transformer prime.

+1, that's a great idea.
would anybody be interested in making a next post in the about xda forum and then submitting it to to portal, I'm not very good at wording things.
Whenever I download something with the browswr, it always goes to 99% then instead of saying download complete.
It shows download unsuccessful.
This has happened on wifi, 4g lte, and 3g. I always had signal when I downloaded the files. I've had this problem on stock 4.0.2 and CM9 kang (current rom).
Is this a known issue that all galaxy nexus owners experience? Or is it just me? Please help... can't download anything with my phone...

Yes. I feel in ics, there's no real need for third party browser so I always use the stock browser.

I have this problem and i agree it shouldn't happen but, as a work-around, what i do is go to the download folder in App drawer and "retry" the download. I would say i get over a 95% success rate by "retrying" downloads.

Yeah, sometimes I have to retry like 5 times.
I have this problem as well. I just keep retrying till it succeeds. Not a huge deal since 4G is decent in my area.

All this talk is useless without posting whether or not you've installed a custom rom or kernel.
I had the issue on some old franco/aokp versions. seems to have gone away now.
OK...
I was running Franco/cm9 kang when I had my problems.
Now that I'm on gummy and the included kernel, the problems have yet to surface.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Thanks for all the info guys.
I really like cm9 kang so I do not want to flash other roms.
But clearing the browser data has helped!
Until now it has successfully downloaded everything on the first try . So thanks again

When will people realize we can not see a hardware problem in a screenshot?
We cannot see what you are talking about. Unless you mean the letters on the app names.
If so I'd say reflash from scratch

Please forgive my ignorance but how do I reflash my 4.0.4 firmware?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA
Try clearing the launcher data first before flashing the stock images

OK El Daddy I have done that.
I shall monitor the situation and see if that sorts it.

Umm.... actually if it was a hardware problem it wouldn't be displayed in a screenshot, did you change the font?
And, cool!! You use bump!

Hello all, this is my first post and why not start off with a question about malware embedded in this site. I just tried to go to this thread [ROM][12.8.12]Toasted Marshmallow *Tweaked To Perfection* w/AwesomeBeats and Chrome popped up a page that states:
Danger: Malware Ahead!
Google Chrome has blocked access to this page on forum.xda-developers.com.
Content from www.thetanooki.com, a known malware distributor, has been inserted into this web page. Visiting this page now is very likely to infect your computer with malware.
Malware is malicious software that causes things like identity theft, financial loss, and permanent file deletion.
Is this possible?
No, its not just our thread. Ive actually been getting this message alot lately on random xda threads...
