I believe I saw something about that issue that same from you're using. So check out the developer page for it and read the known issues. Should find it.

Have you tried going into TBpros setting and setting up backup location by hand? That is what I did to get my back ups to save to my ex.SD.card.

I'm looking at getting the gs3, there are a few apps that I added when I was in Florida, and cannot download them here. Can I put them on my SD card and transfer them to the new phone?

Follow these steps for a secure transfer. Phone must be rooted and have some sort of recovery.
1. download an APP from the market called app2zip
2. Open it, its pretty self explanatory, you can choose which apps you want to save into a flashable.zip
3. zip them they will save on ur SD card you can move it around via root browser or any browser
4. when you get your GS3, and if you do root it with a recovery, you can just open recovery and flash the .zip file, bam its back on your phone.
Yes i know this only works with rooted/recovery phone.
Goodluck
hit thanks if this helped!
If i have apps on SD card by apps2SD on the SGS4, can I switch to a new SD by just copying and pasting them over, or do I have to move it all back to the "device storage"?
Thanks
There's no option to save images from the camera to my external SD card. I'm on the newest (10/1/12) nightly of CyanogenMod 10. Anyone else have this issue and resolved it?
It's normal, for now. Option doesn't exist.

You can always use root explorer and move them manually

After moving them manually your thumbnails show up as black boxes until you touch the pic in the gallery then it shows the picture.Kinda annoying and or embarrassing when you flip to the wrong picture if you know what I mean...Clicking the properties of the camera app it shows the path for pics to be saved to sdcard0.Would changing that to sdcard1 fix the thumbnail issue?
Pretty sure aokp (task) just added the option to save pics to external SD card

the TouchWiz Camera app allows this as well. (if you want to flash a custom TouchWiz ROM)
I have figured out a workaround for the CM10 issue with not saving pics and vids to the external SD card.I use a file manager called SUFBS.You have to buy it from the market. It's the only file manager I use so I don't know if you can do this with any other file manager.Open SUFBS and mount your system by pressing Menu->Mount System R/W. Navigate to /mnt/sdcard/DCIM/Camera and copy either the entire file or individual pictures.Paste what you have copied into /mnt/external_sd/DCIM/Camera.After you have done that shutdown SUFBS and go to your gallery to make sure the pictures are showing up.Then you can go ahead and delete the data from /mnt/sdcard/DCIM/Camera so you don't have duplicate pictures or videos.Works perfect for me and hope this helps someone.
I'm still using the stable build.
I was wondering if anyone can tell me if this is fixed in the nightly build?
TIA.

If I were to backup all my apps with TB and then wipe my SD card clean and then put the backup file back in, would all my data come back successfully and everything work correctly?

As long as Titanium Backup is looking in the same location on your SD card, that would work fine.
Thanks. Does anyone know of a good alternative to TB that doesn't require root?

I do believe you can backup apps through ADB. Can't remember exactly what the commands are. It's around xda somewhere.
Do you want to back up apk files or the app data as well?
Use Es File Explorer. The App Manager feature let you back up apps. The apps data are in the /data/data folder. You have to change the home directory to / to access it.
It however doesn't reinstall all the apps, you have to do it manually.

For backup from PC, you can use APK batch installer

hey guys i was wondering if there was a way to either consolidate or merge all my emulated/0 files on 4.2.1 ROMs
i was running Illusion by itsmikeramsay and every time i update to the newest version it creates another emulated/0 version to start storing files in..
is anyone else dealing with this and if so any solutions to the this or quick fixes?
also i just switched to Task & Ktoonsez's 4.2.1 ROM and its showing all my camera pictures are there but show up as gray files unless i go view them in root explorer

TWRP 2.3.3.1 personally. Download it through GooManager from the play store.
How would you recommend merging all the folders together from all the other /0's that have been created? Just take what I need out of them and delete them?

Use a file manager to move them where you'd like and delete the empty folders.
I flashed a 4.2 ROM just a little while ago. Its weird...I still have everything in my internal and external. But also have dups in storage folder. in there i have an emulated folder and sdcard1 . Then in emulated I have "0" and legacy folder. And it looks like all the same files.
Also..unless i lost my marbles..looks like my download folder is gone
I have a lot of music on my internal SD card and I can find all of these while I'm on a TouchWiz ROM. But as soon as I flash an AOSP ROM (for example I'm using MIUI right now) I cannot find these files or folders where these files are. Also, note that in order to flash a new ROM from TouchWiz, I have to move the ROM from the download folder into "0" and put it in the root of the "0" folder.

I don't have much experience with anything other than touchwiz, but try connecting to your computer and move all music from internal onto external. Not sure why it's not picking them up. Maybe you wiped all your files when transferring between touchwiz and the other?
I didn't wipe them because if I go back to TouchWiz I will have them all. But I will connect it to my laptop to see if they are visible there. I have no external SD card. Also all of those files are under "miscellaneous" in the MIUI file explorer.
