Yes, I got the same Q, anyone can help?

First, reset three counter using. Triangle away( not really needed as Tmobile doesn't check, just making sure)
Next Flash stock rom(original ROM) using ODIN. look in the development section.
Then factory reset after, this can be done from the settings under storage or privacy. I really don't remember.
But that should do it

check the stickies in the dev section. They have the stock Rom in there
Triangle away resets the flash counter now

If you want to go back to completely stock unrooted, with stock recovey, you will need to use Odin to flash a stock rom. Why are you wanting to stay away from Odin? It's even easier to use than CWM.

When it comes to this phone Odin is your best friend and ONLY way to restore stock recovery. Look here and read a few times you shouldnt have any problems http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1513359 if you rooted your phone you shouldnt have any problems unrooting it.
I think flashing back and using the zip file is quicker I done it had to send my phone back under warranty and got my replacement everything worked just fine they never knew I was rooted but what do I know

Odin is the way my friend, and I wouldn't trust anything from a site called GalaxyS2root or whatever. We have the best, most knowledgeable community and devs on earth here. Odin will not fail you my friend, don't let the few retards who refused to read scare you off.

Just saying for a easier way I've done it so I know it works it unroots your phone and they can't tell anything has happened to it if people don't know what they are doing with odin I've used it before it's trusted but it's retard proof if that helps you sleep dude :what:

Although I agree with your answer to use ODIN, I just wanted to point out that GalaxyS2root is a legit site run by XDA Senior Member Zedomax. He roots phones and flashes ROM's for a living. Peace.

If you are that afraid of doing it, pay someone else to do it.
That way if they brick it (they aren't), you can sue them or something.

Download Triangle away app in google play and follow this link
http://galaxys3root.com/galaxy-s3-unroot/how-to-unroot-att-galaxy-s3-sgh-i747/
Well, do the stock unrooted first with Odin, that will trip the counter, but then re-root, use TriangleAway to reset counter, and unroot. VoilĂ !
Black spots when the screen is black? That's normal for these screens, every GS3 has them.

Unroot, use triangle away, restore stock recovery if you switched to cwm and factory reset to change from modified to stock

If only haha. Once you unroot, the device still says modified because the binary flash counter has increased from 0 to 1 (or higher). That pretty much tells the phone that your device was modified.
There are a few guides around on how to do it. I can't really search at the moment as Im on my phone.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
ok...
So If I want to update with samsung when android 4.2 comes out so I have to use triangle away and also unroot it???
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
Thats right. Someone mentioned just downloading the file from www.sammobile.com when its released and flashing that with odin.
Im not sure if that works while rooted but may be worth investigating?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
Ok... then...
I'll go check it
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
There is guides in this forum relating to your issue, but basically use Triangle Away, then wipe data/cache and it should change your status, though some say it reverts back to modified after time...
I would just leave it rooted. 4.2 based roms will be available here probably long before you would see it getting pushed to your device by your carrier.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
Downloading and installing the firmware using ODIN resolves the issue.

Do what previous post said. Odin back to stock will not trigger the flash counter. If you are paranoid, there is a sticky that shows you how to reset your flash counter.

Rooted but stock. [Solved]

Any help on how I can install xposed framework so I can have any app on multi-window?

I cant remember where I found the framework thread but once I saw jedi roms with aroma, I went that route instead of dealing with xposed... glad to see you finally rooted though

Well i got it working already +root . Thanks a lot guys and also a big thanks to Nmw407. That has been helping me out a lot . Just need to find away on how to unroot to factory for my warranty lol.
Sent from my SGH-T889 using xda app-developers app
YAY! You made it!
Various ways to unroot but for warranty id do triangle away first, then odin a stock rom, make sure you pull the sd card, factory reset... that should work to get counter to 0 and normal status
