Yes it is jelly bean. The custom animation is most likely something the developer added to fit with the whole black theme
Then that's great. I just got scared for a moment. Still I think he should have kept that at least. I'm glad bit sad. Thank you so much

i just simply like the black layout of this rom - i am running it with trinity kernel - also got some nice battery life, anyone experienced that google stuff lagging when on mobile network?
Yes I have noticed some laginess and sometimes some freezing. I would like to improve my battery life.
Don't know how though

Got a gnex, Verizon. I've tried at least 10 roms. The one I keep going back to is XeonHD. It's VERY buttery fast, and battery is pretty good too. I'm using the Faux 20b4 as well, and I'm using the stock battery. I don't have stats, as whenever I have the opportunity to charge it I usually do

uploaded the wrong file initially. It has been corrected.
This is absolutely the nicest combo out there. If any Sprint users are interested this works great on the Toroplus. It changed the Sprint to roaming indicator off but everything else is golden. I love the transparent menus!

Ive tried it with most of the JB roms, and I haven't found a problem with any so far. I'm using Vicious V3 right now.
Just Toro plus or will this work on Verizon GNex too?

I've only personally tested it on a VZ Nexus (Toro) and works perfectly, although it has been mentioned earlier that it works on ToroPlus also.

Theme just tested and confirmed to be fully working on GSM (Maguro) GNex.
Really good looking theme! Thanks!
If I didn't JUST get my JB all setup, I would totally use this. Looks very clean and well done. I'll probably download it just to have in the future.

However, i would prefer circle % battery, but finding a mod working on the rom i use + all other stuff
Thanks
well done!
I'm gonna be a newb in this thread for a sec and ask...what does
24dp navbar (portrait and landscape)
1% battery mod
do?
battery mod I'm assuming puts the percentage in the top status bar? whats 24dp do?
Also, this works on JB right? If I nandroid first, then flash and don't like, I can always go back?

Anyone else think the jellybean notification drawer looks like crap on here. Its okay on my nexus 7 but on here is looks so ugly. Especially compared to how sexy the ice cream sandwich one looked. Especially with the toggles. The jellybean one also doesn't fit with the holo theme of the rest of the OS.

I prefer Jelly Bean notification.... looks A LOT better. Although when you don't have any notifications, it looks quite boring but when you get notifications it looks amazing.

I disagree but that's just me.... can debated all day long but at the end of the day.. The jelly bean notification is how it is. If you dislike, stick with ICS then

I like the new notifications themselves. I just don't like the new grey background and the removal of the blue line and transparency. The new fading to grey on pull down is where my complaint stems from.

Matches perfectly with Jelly Bean!
I was just wondering since we now have our own Q&A, what is everyone running? Which ROM, Kernel, custom tweaks? I only ask because I myself am running latest CM9 with Trinity Alpha 37 Kernel. It is running very smooth and have had no problems, but I find myself wanting to go back to Stock because of the little extras, ie camera. So just want to get everyons experiences. Please don't hate lol.
FreeGS3 R4 with Trinity Alpha 23.
Very snappy and smooth; however, battery life is still a struggle.
Stock, Apex Launcher. Former flash-a-holic.. if that tells you anything
See I miss Stock, but there is SO much crap running that I get lost trying to keep it under control. Would love a cleaner that actually works.

I plan on moving to CM10 once a few issues are fixed but for now I guess I will stick with CM9. I am have no issues at all and runs smooth as butter. Battery life is amazing too. I just wish the camera app was better.
Stock. Go launcher. Thinking of flashing a kernel, Trinity to be exact. Staying stock with ROM for now.
Rooted and debloated, the stock kernel is working pretty well for me. Smooth, great battery life and all functions including camera working as they should. Why are you guys switching kernel?

I just want to!! I finally had the courage to root my phone...after years of thinking about doing it. I bricked it last week flashing a rom...stupidly. Now, I figure let me try flashing a kernel...mostly because I just want to. A little better performance is nice too.
Ok so I found someone talking about this in some random gs3 thread and thought I should share it hear. This launcher is really cool and I am running stock rooted FI03 with a landscaped homescreen! It's a Jellybean launcher and it's working really good with a ton of options. I plan to run this with the paranoid android rom tonight when I get some time. I think this is going to be a cool combination. Anyway I wanted to give others the chance to check this out. And Jay if u think this is just another useless thread by all means close it lol! But this is pretty cool!

Surprised more don't know about this launcher. I've been using it since I had my Nexus S 4G, really great free launcher. I just wished it had more gesture options.
It works on older versions of android as well I think as far back as donut if I remember correctly. So if you're on GB and dont want to upgrade you can still get that ICS/JB look and feel, at least launcher wise:thumbup:
We are legion, for we are many.

That sucks. I wonder what would make a launcher not work on a certain rom? I thought they worked on everything. Weird.

Really need to bring my Xplay up to date from Gingerbread.
Was hoping for a Jellybean ROM that works fast and has no major bugs:
Full controller support, camera, calls etc etc
What would you recommend?
Thanks.
I've tried many ROMs but Racing JB is my favourite:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2313458
All my favourite android apps run fast and snappy. I haven't tried any Android games (other than Sega's Sonic games), but all the 16 bit/8 bit emulators I use work perfectly.
1. I have tried many ROMS too. but the SuperLite JB is one of my Fav's .. I used it as a daily for 1 year. Totally customizable because of AOKP settings.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2357756
and then I switched to MIUI.. ohhhhh.. MIUI is the real Beautiful Face of Android.. the usual android is soooooooooooooo Boring.. MIUI is a please to the eye.. Totally Customizable.. Loving it from within 5 mins of Installing it..
2. You have the Gaming Edition GB here .. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2201338
3. and also the newer.. JB edition here .. http://en.miui.com/thread-3182-1-1.html .. the JB one is amazing.. and newer.. a totally fresh change.. but still ANDROID.
I'm running a heavily themed honeycomb paranoid android for ics
