what is my phone. pvt3 s-off but not by alphrev

how can my phone be s-off but no alpharev?
i want it alpharev'd so can i ?

your phone is factory S-OFF, you are one of the lucky few, well done. Just flash an Alpharev patched hboot..

is alpha rev needed if you are S-off?

you don't need to use it to S-OFF, but you do need to use it if you want a patched HBOOT/ SPL.
@OP you will NOT be able to just flash the HBOOTs listen on Alpharev. Download the PB99IMG.zip of Bravo_stock, put it on the root of your sd-card (not in any folders), boot into the BOOTLOADER (not fastboot), and when it asks you to update hit yes.

No, it's just completely redundant.

You can read about the different Hboots on that site and download your choice.

[Q] Desire got wrong hboot

My Desire got wrong hboot as following:
Bravo Unknown SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-0.35.0017
MICROP-031d
TOUCH PANEL - SYN0101
RADIO - 4.06.00.02_2
Jun 14, 2010 12:02:27
I tried to flash original RUU including zip and exe but fail, anyone can help me to restore official hboot.

Not sure if he has but he managed to flash Blackrose from N1 onto his Desire, how did you manage get s-on? on black rose? Did you use this RUU_Bravo_HTC_WWE_1.21.405.2_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4. 06.00.02_2_release_126984_signed ?

I tried your mentioned RUU file and rename it as PB99IMG.zip but still fail.

If he did hboot would say "BravoC"
edit: .. or after reading the actual numbers of the hboot i retract that statement.

It did not fail compare to original thread you gained s on and downgraded radio from which I found out as you mentioned RUU before in original thread, one more question, did you follow advice from N1 guy I posted there?

Try to flash alpharev hboot downgrade with fastboot, then try to flash any other hboot or to flash RUU. I recommend 2.3 RUU.

it cleared the cid and hboot check but when i press up volume key for update it shows Partition update fail

make sure that you also have the matching recovery and kernel and don't for get to relock your bootloader

did exactly but still no luck.. when i give the recovery command it show update error. or read error.
also tried the sd card method. which shows update fail-> partition update fail PU error. i think something is wrong with internal disk.
i am done with this phone and android. going back to iphone. Iphone wins agains

Help to turn my DHD S-ON

I have one HTC DEsire HD rooted, and with Jelly Time R_28 (Android 4.1.2).
Due a problem with GPS i try install the original ROM to send the phone to HTC, but in the middle of the precess give me a error, but the phone work well, but after that i can't install another rom and can't even update that rom, that because se security has ON, in other words now in bootloader i have the following text:
ACE PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT- 2.00.0027
MICROP-0438
RADIO- 26.14.04.28_M
eMMD-boot

Some could help me, I already try every tutorial in the forum, I read a lot of pages and I try everything but i still can's install other rom's and the S-ON remanis.

If your bootloader is unlocked then after flashing the rom, you have to flash the boot.img from the rom using fastboot

signature checking
failed <remote: signature verify fail>
finished. total time 1.203s
I use the boot.img in the .rar of the rom, and I follow that guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1752270).

It Is impossible To have an unlocked bootloader with that hboot version...if You don't find the exact Ruu for your device, You will Need To create a goldcard

Flash a RUU that is compatible with the hboot update, but you need what build version you are currently running...

RUU Needed

Hii i need an RUU for my one V (GSM)

Please help. i downloaded 3 other europe ruu's but with all getting hboot error or 155 (But it is relocked!)

Yes i did. With most of the ruu's it doesnt go past the hboot version check because i cant find one for hboot 1.18...
