Is there any way to add more points to the pattern unlock mode so I am able to make a more secure entrance to my phone?. Thanks for your help. My Galaxy Nexus is running Android 4.1 by the way.
I don't believe that anyone has modified the pattern lockscreen to have more points.

In theory: The more possible options exist, the less the chance someone gets it right by luck.
Although I prefer PIN unlock, I understand the demand.

Not that im aware of. The android os has a built in lockscreen, so even if you remove the lockscreen apk you will still have the default lockscreen.

I got it to work, you have to go to /system/app and rename, move, or delete HtcLockScreen. apk. Pretty cool, i have been looking for a way to do away with the lockscreen.

if there was, then switching between tabs in chrome wouldn't work would it.
Most phones stock, and almost all roms, you hold home and it will pop up recently used apps, at least since froyo. In ICS it works even better.. but besides that, no, there's no way.

Not to forget the button in the NavBar, especially and only for the purpose of switching (or closing) apps.
Yeah I guess these make sense I just like the cool animation. Sorry for the trouble.

They DID make a multitasking animation for the GNex with WebOS, WP7, & Sense 4.
So this animation is very possible. I recommend you go to AOKP or CM and email/PM your idea.
If they like it & are willing to do it, Donate to them. That'll truly show your thanks and possibly make them happily do another one of your ideas down the road.

The OS, no. The multitasking animation yes. I know AOKP has sense & WebOS.
The WP7 One is a flash able zip I think.

The problem when you choose a single picture and you resize it to be bigger, the image doesnt increase its size, so you cant create the homescreen at your like.
Not sure what exactly you want to do but have you tried Desktop VisualizeR?

Just find a picture widget that is highly resizable and that makes the picture shown looks beautiful, not streched and distorted like others widgets do.
But thanks, I completely forgot about DV, it may help me
For those of you who are excited an about 4.2 simply because of the Redone Camera UI, or just want to have have some leaked 4.2 on your phone a couple of days before the actual thing is released.
Here is the download for the NEW camera.
YOU MUST BE ROOTED!!! NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU BRICK IT SOMEHOW!!!
Android v4.2 AOSP Camera:
http://db.tt/Vla2qFhu
You will be able to keep the 4.1.2 camera so don't worry about it if you want it still for some reason.
For those of you who don't know(living under a rock eh), here are some new exciting feature and changes:
1. Full screen camera and video, no more gray boarders. Completely redone UI.
2. No nobs and settings in view, just hold the screen and they all be available in a circle dragging view.
3. Pinch to ZOOM in and out.
4. New Photo editor UI(duh)
a. An original/new drag bar(you'll see
what I mean
b. New slide out edit history
c. New Ratio cropping(I think that's new)
d. Etc.
5. PHOTO SPHERE!!!
6. New Gallery UI(similar to 4.1.2)
7. Few unlisted but you'll find em
I take no credit for making this file. Originally found on AndroidPolice. This file is for the people who would like to use it and still have no knowledge of this download. So dont get all mad. This will be useful for a few days, yes I know. Not sure if it will work on Touchwiz, Sense, Moto, or anything else. Confirmed working on 4.1.2 AOSP.

We totally don't need two threads on this.

And where is it??? Development??? Cuz I dont see it in general.

That other thread doesn't actually say anything about it being from AOSP so this might actually be a different version of the app
EDIT: Actually, it might be the same

Camera seems to work fine, gallery app is FCing all the time...though it does actually sync with Picasa album, vs the old one which doesn't for some reason(AOKP Build 5, newest Gapps)
