Anyone found a fix for this? I can't host on my One X too. Even with the 0.4.0 update that came out yesterday.
You have wifi on?
sony xperia ray ics 4.0.4

Yes. And its connected to the same WiFi router as the other devices attempting to connect to it. But while I can join their games, they can't join mine.

Still no fix mate

On the off chance, I found out that I can host a server on minecraft with my One X when I'm using portable hotspot and have the other devices connected to my hotspot. However, if I use a WiFi router, I can't host.

Sweet just bought my HTC one x after selling my galaxy note nice phone but there seems to be one problem why is there a extra button for settings with three dots below anyone help
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
Apps that aren't properly ICS enabled will use the 'legacyl button at the bottom of the screen
If you root your phone there is a mod in the development section to get rid of the dots and change the right button into the options button

You can't do it without root ?

Or will they just have a software fix for it ?
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
Apparently even Google Reader is not properly ICS compatible. It has the top-right 3-dots AND the bottom 3-dots.
HTC should have given the option with the right hand side button. Most apps aren't ICS compatible.

I hope it will be a software fix instead of slowly waiting for all the apps to be competible with ics

So now that the devs are developing their own kernels is there much chance of seeing an aosp Rom anytime soon?

We have CM9 already and it's almost 100% functioning. It just isn't on this forum. Try Google.

Yep seen that too, just wondering why the devS here aren't making these.

Had used it for an hour on my galaxy s2 and I was so mesmerized that it is really my dream to have it on my phone.. The speed and quality of the os is simply unimaginably futuristic..
So just wanted an insight if anyone is trying to or planning to port it to the majestic one x..

Me too. And it didn't fix my restart issues, in fact made it worse, now it restarts in the middle of phone calls. I am sending it in for repairs, I didn't do any rooting or anything like this to device I am really pissed off.
I just factory reseted, since I bought from FNAC, 5 months ago, I have had camera crash and then restart issues for 4 months.
After this repairs, I am selling and getting an iPhone,
Anyone had the same issues buying from Belgium?
Hi all,
I've had my HTC One X for about 9 months now, and this an issue that has plagued me since the day one. I bought my phone from my brother, who is an HTC developer and had a custom Viper ROM installed. I wasn't a fan, so I installed Cyanogenmod to get used to the phone. After switching ROMs, I noticed that the phone could not receive calls or texts while plugged in. I've switched ROMs a couple of times since then, and I'm now on MaximusHD 21.0 with the same issue.
Does anyone know what might be causing this problem? I'm willing to try anything to fix this issue. Any and all responses welcome.
Device info:
S/N: HT23CW104092
Running Android 4.2.2/Sense 5/MaximusHD 21.0
Can post any other requested info I just want to fix this bug!!

Charging shouldn't effect signal. Are you using stock charger/cable?
Could try another USB cable that may help.

Hi,
I'm not sure what brand of cable i'm using. I will try and find an HTC branded one this week.
