HTC One X - No signal while charging. - HTC One X

Hi all,
I've had my HTC One X for about 9 months now, and this an issue that has plagued me since the day one. I bought my phone from my brother, who is an HTC developer and had a custom Viper ROM installed. I wasn't a fan, so I installed Cyanogenmod to get used to the phone. After switching ROMs, I noticed that the phone could not receive calls or texts while plugged in. I've switched ROMs a couple of times since then, and I'm now on MaximusHD 21.0 with the same issue.
Does anyone know what might be causing this problem? I'm willing to try anything to fix this issue. Any and all responses welcome.
Device info:
S/N: HT23CW104092
Running Android 4.2.2/Sense 5/MaximusHD 21.0
Can post any other requested info I just want to fix this bug!!

Well I think that is a hardware problem..Revert it to stock rom,and go to service for advice

With that answer you may as well have told me to buy a new phone. Thanks tho

Charging shouldn't effect signal. Are you using stock charger/cable?
Could try another USB cable that may help.

Hi,
I'm not sure what brand of cable i'm using. I will try and find an HTC branded one this week.

Hardware defects should still be covered regardless of bootloader status
Do you suggest I just flash a Europe RUU and then send it off?

Phantom touch?

My phone recently has been suffering from phantom touches, brief moments where the touch screen goes insane, I'm on viper x 2.7.1 fresh install a couple weeks ago, not sure if it could be hardware this has however not happened before.

Sounds like your digitizer is about to go, mine went like that before it developed a dead spot, had to get it repaired
Damn, was you rooted?

i don't think it is related to the root, it is an HW problem
I meant for warranty problems really, I've read a lot of bad press about htc and don't want to lose my device

Me too. And it didn't fix my restart issues, in fact made it worse, now it restarts in the middle of phone calls. I am sending it in for repairs, I didn't do any rooting or anything like this to device I am really pissed off.
I just factory reseted, since I bought from FNAC, 5 months ago, I have had camera crash and then restart issues for 4 months.
After this repairs, I am selling and getting an iPhone,
Anyone had the same issues buying from Belgium?

HTC One X Quadrant Benchmark 6600

Hi guys, first time poster here. I've been reading a lot about how you guys do benchmark tests so I decided to do one of my own. I am running stock standard Jelly Bean 4.1.1 I received in an OTA update this morning. I'm from Australia on Vodafone. Anyway, I read that people were flipping out because the HTC One X ALMOST passed 5000 but mine just got 6600 about 5 times in a row. Is this normal?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
Really? Mine 6700. I think its normal
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Just did, 6.6k, seems normal.
I need to brag full stock

mine is 6900-7000 :\
Alright, no worries guys, I wasn't sure what was going on. I didn't know if my phone was a freak of nature or just a natural beast. Thanks for clearing it up for me guys

Contact pins not working

I bought a case that charges the phone through the pins at the back, however it's not working on my one x and it works on my cousins
I think my contact pins aren't working
Any ideas? Would a factory reset help?

Probably a hardware issue. Send it back

Had the same problem. Opened the phone and found it disconnected. Pushed the connector back in. Now it work fine. Definitely a hardware issue.

There is plenty of tutorials on youtube... It's not that hard but you do have to be very careful...
Yeah I saw some tutorials but I wouldn't know which wire/connection to change
