Sweet just bought my HTC one x after selling my galaxy note nice phone but there seems to be one problem why is there a extra button for settings with three dots below anyone help

Apps that aren't properly ICS enabled will use the 'legacyl button at the bottom of the screen
If you root your phone there is a mod in the development section to get rid of the dots and change the right button into the options button

You can't do it without root ?

No, but gradually more and more apps will actually be optimized for ICS..

Or will they just have a software fix for it ?

Apparently even Google Reader is not properly ICS compatible. It has the top-right 3-dots AND the bottom 3-dots.
HTC should have given the option with the right hand side button. Most apps aren't ICS compatible.

I hope it will be a software fix instead of slowly waiting for all the apps to be competible with ics

Do you reckon I should get one of these or will it take me away from using the stomper of a screen we have on the one x to watch movies etc

So now that the devs are developing their own kernels is there much chance of seeing an aosp Rom anytime soon?

We have CM9 already and it's almost 100% functioning. It just isn't on this forum. Try Google.

Yep seen that too, just wondering why the devS here aren't making these.

Anyone have? Or able to port it?

Is it not just the Sense 3.6 camera, as found on a bunch of things?

I think this is the wrong place, but I'm guessing you wouldn't be interested in a Verizon?

After the F1 is finished... the Smuckers! Won't need it till next year now.
And I will bet my mortgage. It will only work on ICS,not jellybean.they have said for months they are working on the one x which means getting it working on ICS while blocking media link.so with jellybean about to hit for the one x no way will they have it working on HTC one x Jelly bean

Don't bet your mortgage, the article seems to suggest they're trying to make it compatible for jellybean

Finally, confidently I literally just attempted to see if it was available for my phone around 10 seconds before coming on XDA
