Live Wallpaper on lockscreen - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

ok i was just messing around when i used holo lock for the jellybean lock screen and i didnt like it so i just uninstalled it and somehow my live wallpaper was my stock lock screen. I tried to reproduce what i had did, i have to restore my phone cause i messed it up.., and was unable to recreate the results. There where a couple of threads that had to mention it and a 3ed party app but somehow i did it without any apps any ideas???

Are you talking about having the live wallpaper from your main screens showing up on your lock sceen? If so, just set a non stock picture as your lock screen wallpaper (like a picture you took) go in to recovery, flash Darkside Cache Wipe. And that will give you a transparent lock screen. Like this

EDIT: Ok like ericcanboni said it is the desck clock on the original clock, but now everytime I press home it takes me to this, usually a reboot would fix it but now not even that fixes it, I uninstalled the stock clock and fixed it, but I just reinstalled it and its still doing it, anyway to fix this or do I have to use a different alarm now?
It might be car home or something like that

That is the dock screen, comes up when your phone is docked. Pretty sure it's magnetically triggered or something.

It's the 'Desk Clock' tab in the stock Clock app. Not sure why it would be opening every time you press home. I think it does open when attached to a desk dock, but I'm not sure.

Bug in pattern unlock screen

I am running stock rooted rom/kernel without any themes or mods. This has happened couple times now when i press power button to lock the screen in the middle of a video playing in apps like IMDB the pattern grid is offset to the right and i cannot enter the unlock pattern. Had to sign in with Google acc. Anyone had this issue?

this happened to me on face unlock except the camera portion stayed up and off to the side, would recognize, and wouldnt clear screen to go to the backup lock screen.
BTW I'm still stock unrooted....only happened to me once.
This happened to me with Face Unlock and with pin unlock multiple times consecutively right out of the box. I had to pull the battery and it hasn't happened since. :fingers-crossed:
Hmm..interesting. i can consistently reproduce the issue by pressing power button when a video is playing in an app or full screen flash video is playing in dolphin hd browser.

I think this is an android spread problem not specific to the device. Coming from the Htc one S I experienced the same issue.

It would happen on my G2X quite a bit as well if not all the time.

Ok so I set my lock screen and home screen wallpapers both to the same all black image. Why is the lock screen like a milky gray while the home screen wallpapers is a deep rich black? Anyone else have this problem?

The lock screen. Looks like it has Grey smudges or Grey smoke or fog on it. It's driving me freaking crazy, is my phone defective?

I think it's probably from the ripple effect. Try turning it off in the settings and see if it still does it. (settings -> security -> lock screen options)
That was it alright. Thanks it was starting to miss me off. I remember hearing in the somewhere that some gs3s had blotches on the screen. Just wanted time make sure that wasnt the case.

AFAIK, Nova has Wallpaper scrolling enabled by default. Looks like you're still on TouchWiz, in which case I think its gallery app insists on overcropping wallpapers, so use QuickPic instead.
ok thanks i think i got it fixed
Could also use Image 2 Wallpaper from Play Store. Works great.

Lock screen wallpaper issue

Anyone experiencing problems with quality of lock screen wallpaper? I thought my screen was faulty but it's not the screen, something is wrong with lockscreen calibration software wise. I took a screenshot of the lockscreen and this is what I got. If screen was defective, it wouldn't be captured in screenshot. This is so weird.
Notice the left side of the screen looks all faded compare to right side?

This is the same image I took a screenshot of in quickpic/gallery.
Everything displays correctly except for the lockscreen. Try using black/dark wallpaper and see if you have the same issue. =(

It's because you still have the ripple effect selected in the lock screen options. Uncheck that and your wallpaper won't be faded.
