Hi
Anyone heard any news on this little baby? http://www.expansys-kr.com/p.aspx?i=142892&stack=technical&action=open#technical
It says multipoint but does it mean that the Mike will work with more than 1 device or just the headphones?
I have also asked expansys in Korea. I'll update if I get a response.
Cheers.
Pioneer sell car stereo model no DEH-7300BT. Halfords are currently selling this on special offer for £149.99.
It has parrot Bluetooth stereo handsfree integrated. The compatible mobile phones listed on their support site doesn't include galaxy s or s2 (the list was printed in February 2011 before s2).
Does anyone know if the handsfree will work OK? Surprised galaxy s isn't even on the compatible list. Lots of older phones are included some Samsung phones like omnia.
Thanks

Did you get the answer? is it compatible? (if not, which solution have you found?)
I bought a galaxy s2 in Hong Kong, so I have the international version Gs2.
I really need a car dock though and am kind of confused at which USA carrier's accessories I can use / buy.
From what i read, the closest to the international version that would fit in a car dock is t-mobile's version. Can anyone be so kind to confirm?
I would also like to buy the OEM samsung mounts.
Thank you for any responses.
So we know this year EU / US models have Exynos processor both ( except for Verizon variant ) .
Someone of you on USA VARIANT can tell us if you have FM Radio enabled ? Tis because us in EU that have same identical processor it seems miss FM Radio.
US always gets Snap Dragon processors. Note 10 and Plus both have Snap Dragon 855 in the US, regardless of carrier.

you are wrong.
This year only Verizon Note 10 / + will continue to have Snapdragon
Would you please share with me how you know that to be a fact? All articles that call out the chip in the US are Snapdragon. Samsung wouldn't put a Snapdragon in their phone just for one carrier in one country. It would cost too much. Here, let me start by sharing an article that was update 4 days ago.

Unfortunately, for you he made that claim before the Note 10/+ was "unpacked". He has since said he was wrong. Every reviewer in articles and Youtube that had their hands on a US version said it was a SD 855.

The link you shared clearly says that US is Snapdragon - you must have read the article Wrong.

Huh? I literally said US are Snapdragon in my comment you quoted then shared an article to support that comment.
The chipset may support FM radio, but the FM radio requires wired headset/headphone jack to also function as the antennae. Since the note no longer has a headphone Jack what would be the point?
what? note10+ included usb-c headphone. i'm sure that can use as antenna also.

depends if there is room in the standard to recieve radio waves over a pin/wire in the cable. in a headset they generally just wired into a cable to recieve the radio signal. but I'm not sure if USB C would allow them to wire into the earth externally to work as an antenna, but seems most firms are just of the opinion people stream these days, in the UK most of the radio stations have made online streams to account for this.
not ideal if you are limited on data, but it seems that's what most manufacturers and people think these days, the networks just need to catch up on letting people stream more and actually have a fitting data allowance for the speeds of the likes of 5G. (UK networks are working on it with excluding certain services from data use or making unlimited services for reasonable prices)
sorry...

- I wasn't intending to respond to your comment - but rather was trying to offer supporting information to @wolfgart who was saying that only verizon was snapdragon - my apologies- sorry I caused confusion...
I have preordered Note 10+ 512GB 5G from Verizon, not received yet. I had a long texting session with Samsung about this in their app. They insisted there was no radio receiver, and that there was not one in my Note 8 either! After much discussion they agreed for the Note 8 that I had, it must have been an "undocumented" hardware feature. So... who knows!

The answer is YES
I think it's got clearly confirmed by Zack from Jerryrigeverything durability test video, as much as he did with the LG V20 3 years ago.
Love that guy!

thank you Bro but don't see in that video any FM Radio thread link
FM radio needs the earphones cable as a antenna to work, so I guess the answer is there's not FM radio support on the note10

S10 also has a headphone jack to use earphones as an antenna.
Hi Folks I had to return mine (Oct 2019 model) due to a fault and samsung sent me a replacement pair but without the smooth retainer bands. Instead they provided 2 pairs of the same bands with the wings. I cannot use these.
If anyone has a pair they aren't using, please could I have them? I'm UK based!
Samsung are saying they don't supply these now .....!
