Pioneer sell car stereo model no DEH-7300BT. Halfords are currently selling this on special offer for £149.99.
It has parrot Bluetooth stereo handsfree integrated. The compatible mobile phones listed on their support site doesn't include galaxy s or s2 (the list was printed in February 2011 before s2).
Does anyone know if the handsfree will work OK? Surprised galaxy s isn't even on the compatible list. Lots of older phones are included some Samsung phones like omnia.
Thanks

Can anyone confirm (preferrably from their own experience) if the connector plugs of the XDA II, IIs, and IIi are compatible? i'm looking for a retractable usb sync n charge plug but all i see here in the philippines are marked for use with the XDA II. a shop salesperson mentioned to me that they should be compatible but i dont wanna fry my device on the word of a salesperson who may or may not know what he's talking about. i've done some searching in the forums but i seem to be getting conflicting answers.
Yes
I bought a serial cable today for xdai compatible with xda2
XDA II and XDA IIi are compatible together
not with XDA IIs
Hmmm... i was afraid of that. I'm using an XDA IIs btw. I guess i'll either have to wait for IIs accessories to come in or order over the net. Thanks for the info guys.

Hi! I just purchased my S3 from AT&T. I would like to use an APT-X enabled bluetooth headset
with my phone. Even though Sennheiser's website mentions that S3 has Apt-X I would like to
make sure before purchasing the headphones. Since the audio chip is different in the north american
S3 it might be possible that it does not have Apt-X. Is there a way to very? I called Samsung and
the representative did not know the answer. Thanks.
Here comes a necropost!
Did you ever figure this out?
I am considering buying the new Samsung MHL Adapter for my Galaxy Nexus i9025. Question is will it work. I understand the the older MHL adapters built for the Nexus and S2 used a 5 pin layout and are not compatible with S3. However is the new adpater for the S3 that uses an 11 pin layout compatible with older phones like the Nexus?
The exact product code I would like to purchase is EPL-3FHUBEG
.....
No it won't. Samsung switched the pin layout on the GS3 so they could force people to buy their own accessories. Gnex uses the standard pins.

i believe the 11 design was so you can use otg and mhl at the same time, unlike the nexus and all other 5 pin phones that use mhl
Hi Folks I had to return mine (Oct 2019 model) due to a fault and samsung sent me a replacement pair but without the smooth retainer bands. Instead they provided 2 pairs of the same bands with the wings. I cannot use these.
If anyone has a pair they aren't using, please could I have them? I'm UK based!
Samsung are saying they don't supply these now .....!
