Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 Subforums

Hi,
Don't know if this was here before, but I didn't find anything with the search function.
Since the Xperia hit shelves some days ago and is becoming more popular each day, I wanted to request a split of the subforum. Actually I'm not the only one who thinks this would make sense -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=437444
Its becoming more confusing every day mixing program/modification requests with other general stuff. Since Olipro & cmonex are working on a HardSPL, its only a matter of time (if they get it working - which I have no doubt) when Xperia ROMS will be published.
So please give the Xperia an own subforum with seperate general and modification subforums.

I mean to split that forum. One subforum is becoming more confusing every day ...

I agree, it needs to be subsplit, the one forum is already getting very busy and looks to be getting more popular all the time.
it already has more threads than some of the other devices combined.
I'd suggest the same as the Diamond, 4 sections, Standard, Rom Dev, Accessories and Apps/Themes.

Dedicated standard 3-forum layout for the X1 would be great. This has to be the most popular non HTC branded phone to date.

maybe even 4 on just for apps and one just for panels then one for roms and another for accessories

Can we get our own forum for the ION back ??? This is too confusing....already hard to search for what you are looking for Now I have to deal with other two devices. Similar but they are not the same !!!!

I second this.
What really sucks is I need to de odex file for 29 so I can finish setting my phone up. Us Ion guys had enough of a issue keeping the newbs squared away and this is going to make it much worse. People are going to be trying to flash stuff they dont need to and messing up their device. I dont have a problem reading but some apparently do.
Now if this was a merge of the T, TL, TX, GX etc I could understand.

Agree, now it is much easier to get Hard brick.

Yes I think every one who has any of these phones in the merge would agree that this merge is not a good idea.

I also don't like it. We had a nice clean and organized forum.

I agree. We worked hard to keep the ion forums organized and clean now its all a big mess with the added devices.
Part of the reason I didn't post or help out as much in the XS/XP threads was because it was such a mess. New users always asking the same questions already covered because they couldn't find the answers. Now it will be the same for the ion.

I used the triangle shaped report button in the OP of this thread to ask the mods whats up and who I can message about this. still waiting for response.:crying:

Moderators don't make the decisions regarding forum change arounds. Admins do.
This also isn't the best way to go about getting things changed.

Just give xperia s another section.
Nobody wants this things so just make it. Even the simpliest phone got it.
And of course, Sammy phone third got own sections with mobile carrier, ftw????

Best thing that's happened to the Xperia S in the last few weeks, when it was lumbered in with about 15 other handsets you couldn't find anything and posts were dropping.

Ummm... Bad idea.
Everyone spamming his inbox will not get results. Spamming threads will not get results. There's a way to do all of this properly. Go and have a discussion about this in the Xperia Hangout Thread in general and once you all agree on how it should be, make the requests in the relevant place.
Will you lot never be bloody happy though?
When the Xperia S forum was first created and had a ton of devices mixed with it, it was a mess. You lot (not you guys in particular) then started moaning about it.
It got changed to exactly what was asked, and you lot still started moaning about it.
It's been changed around again and once again all people are doing is moaning.
If you want anything to change you can't simply say "It's rubbish, so change it". You need to think of ideas which you all can agree with and give them a try.
This wasn't all aimed at the person I quoted by the way, it was aimed at everyone who decides to carry on moaning about this.

Even if you all don't like the merge, for ION users it presents a good opportunity for development. Devs from the XPS or Acro could possibly work on the ION since the software is similar. Merging the forums will bring attention to the ION, at least I think so.

I need help related to the compatibility between the the devices.
I have Xperia S and I want to buy the Parrot Minikit Neo. My question is: has anybody used this two devices togheter?
I want to know if the quality of the sound (output and input) is good.

[Q] HTC one M8 or Xperia Z2

So yeah as title says, I'm in kind of a dillema haha. I would like to hear from REAL users that use the phone daily what the pro's and con's are on this phone, and if you would recommend it And if someone has/had a Xperia Z2, did you had more fun with it?

How to retrieve Sensme Slideshow feature to Album app

I installed Sensme Slideshow app 2.0.A.0.14 on my Xperia ZR stock 5.1 OS. It worked for a second and then it showing this error message. I used this feature before in my phone. Now why it's not working. What is the reason? Is there any specific version i can install to make it work?

Your thread is not about development, you're doing a request and it's the third thread you open in this section with requests only.

Oh god! I did a huge mistake in my life! Stop telling me to not post i am not faking or scamming anyone! As being a sony fan i am just requesting sony custom developers to bring back the old features! That's it!
If there is really a request thread for features! I should have posted my requests there! No one was answering or caring about requests on device forum threads. So as a last try i requested the features here and you guys are reacting like i almost did some crime!
