I'm new here and english is not my first language.
I need help!
I just buy a kindle fire, and i think it great. I try to root it with Simple CM9 and somehow i brick my kindle.
I try every way to unbrick but nothing seems to working.
When I turn on my KF, Kindle Fire logo appears then Simple CM9 animation logo appears butand it freeze after 1min.

My PC dont recognize so I cant use Unbrick program because its always "waiting for device"
I just buy it and this is such a bad first-time rooting experience for me.
I dont know what to do, pls help me.

[Q] Stuck at logo, no device connected

Hi,
My kindle is stuck at the Kindle Fire logo screen. When I plug it in to try to use fastboot or similar, I cannot because the computer cannot see it, so I cannot install the driver.
Any Ideas?

Because you literally have to read it first. It helps to start from the beginning and continue to the end. I assure you, your answer is there.
Try to plug it into a different computer or different USB port on the same computer. Mine did the same thing when it was stuck in fast boot. For some reason, nothing happened when I plugged it in to one port, but it connected in the other ones. Also, mine was only recognized right after you turn it off and on. If you leave it on the logo for like 10 min, it calls it unknown device.

Ok, I am trying that McSurge45.
Edit: Thanks! That worked.
I give up.

All I did was restart my computer with the fire plugged in but turned off. For some reason this reset it.

I guess I'm just an idiot. Fastboot just gets me stuck at the FFF yellow triangle and stops. Recovery and Normal boot don't start the device all the way, so I can't access it from my computer to add a ROM.zip file to the /SD card.
From what the post says, you need to be in fastboot. KFU doesn't see my device in any of the boot modes either.
What should I try to do to get my Fire back? Will a Factory reset do the trick? Will that Unroot my Kindle? Is that even the right direction?
Please advise.
Thank you.

Nothing??? I booted up my Kindle at work, used the Real Calc app from Google Market (was running GO Launcher EX, Rooted with KFU) let it go into sleep more, picked it up to use it for.... I don't remember, It just had the mini Android Robot on the screen with a Triangle with Orange " ! " inside it. I couldn't get the device to respond, so I hard shutdown (hold down power button until power off). Then it booted up and immediately shut down and restarted and there was the Yellow Triangle splash, the Kindle Fire splash, An Android Robot with a progress bar underneath (which I've never seen before), it filled to ~20%, then The Mini Androit with the orange " ! " like before.
I can boot to reocov, norm, and fastboot, but none work and my Kindle is not longer recognized by my PC.
I really have no clue man.

I've tried rebooting my system, my kindle, plugged in, not plugged in, i still can't transfer the .zip on the device. Should I try to reflash the .zip that's already on there?

Your kindle tried to update to the new stock software. Your next step would be to boot into recovery and install the stock that way (you would then have to reroot using kfu) or you could install a custom rom. If yore after the stock look then check out the modaco from in the dev section.

[Q] Need Some help with a bootloop

Hey guys, I'm not sure how I got my Kindle stuck in a boot loop, but I need some help getting it out. I have this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1399889 for unbricking. The problem I run into is that for some reason the utility wont show my device at all. In my device manager on my computer it shows the kindle as Amazon with the yellow triangle. I have tried everything I could find to get my computer and thus the utility used in the above thread to pick it up and get it out of the boot loop. In case you need to know the ROM I tried to flash before I had this issue can be found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1614004 .
Exact same issue doesn't connect to computer

If you are getting stuck at the ROM's bootanimation and it won't go any further, your system software is broken. You'll have to get to recovery or at least into fastboot mode to fix it. If you have the stock bootloader, you have no easy way to get into recovery, so you'll probably need a factory cable. Read this...

This probably won't hurt either...

Just contacted amazon about getting a new factory cable. Also, as much as I hate to admit it, I could probably use that guide

Okay so I plugged my kindle in with a samsung charger I had, and it turned on when I plugged it in. Now it is plugged in, and it can't get past the kindle fire logo. What should I do? The computer doesn't recognize it either

Download in use Kindle Fire Utility from the development section. Use it install window driver for KF, install TWRP, and reset boot mode. It is the tool for you. You just need to study how to use it.
Hope it helps.

Kindle Fire - Rom caused Stuck at Boot Animation - No FFF Logo

So, I was super excited because last time I tried to Root my Kindle, I ended up having to get it replaced and told myself I would NEVER do this again... well I was wrong.. and I went back and tried to do it again.. and well I am back where I was before...
SO maybe there is something I must be missing...
Let me start out at the beginning.
1. I started my Kindle.... the Kindle Fire Logo popped up and then went to the ICS Boot animation. After that.. nothing happened.. just continually goes through ICS boot animation.
2. SO, I thought.. hmm Maybe I can get ADB to detect it and be able to put it into fastboot or even put it through TWRP... Nope. I opened up KFU and it says that its offline and Unknown. So it can't tell that its there... however! When I went into the Device Manager... it says Amazon with a big Yellow Exclamation mark! So Maybe I have to fix the drivers? I am not sure... I just don't think it makes it far enough to go into fastboot. It knows that it exists... but doesn't go any farther... I also know that when I boot it.. the FFF logo doesn't show up... so maybe thats also a bad thing...
3. I tried running fastboot directly through the CMD line and it didn't work. Stays stuck on "waiting for device" after doing that fastboot idme bootmode 4000 commands...
4. I tried Hard resetting it... I tried letting it sit there for a few minuets.
Any other suggestions?! Thanks!!
I also am using Windows 7 64 bit.
fastboot initializes within the 1st few seconds of each boot.
turn off kindle then run script then turn on kindle.
the script should run

if your getting to the ics boot animation then you are not stuck in fastboot anyway + if your pc says waiting for device then you can not be in fastbootmode otherwise the script would run.
how did you install the ics rom, was it with twrp?
if so can you boot into twrp?
i would say your drivers are screwed and you have installed a bad rom (which rom did you flash)?
I was using ICS Energy Rom. I don't know if it was the latest one..
I get to the ICS animation... What should I do? What script do you mean?
No :/ Not able to access the TWRP. I see no Blue Kindle Fire Logo.. it just does a normal Kindle Fire logo and then to the ICS Boot Animation... Is there any way to do this?
Maybe I didn't "Hard reset" it right? What do I need to do to Hard reset?

Does this Kindle Fire logo have an android on top of it?
If it doesn't and you are unable to access the ROM or ADB in any way, your only choice is to get a factory cable.

Give us more info. What version was the Kindle running, what rooting method, etc. Also, the only way to revive it may be a "Fastboot" cable, which can be purchased from Amazon.
Maybe battery dead
