CM9 and exchange - HTC One X

Can someone running CM9 based roms confirm, which (if any?) includes exchange email support? thanks
I know the official faq says its included but not sure if it applies to our builds (since they're unofficial still?)

[Q] Just wondering...

I read in the cyanogenmod forums that that the ROM (the public alpha-1 version) made by arco68 is "unofficial" CM9 ROM. What can be the reason for this custom ROM being "unofficial?"
im sure your not a good of a reader arent you ?
well 1st of all its unofficial because samsung WILL not realease ICS on SGW
and what arco has made is still incomplete ... there is still known bug and unknown bug that hasnt been fix yet ...
and the the ics camera on cm9 for sgw still is not working that's why its not official

I see .
Before my next question, I wanted to clarify first that by "unofficial," I meant the "unofficial CM9" built by arco68. (I am also aware that Samsung will not release "official" stock ROM)
Now, if that's the case, then what is the difference between the nightly builds (which, I assume are the alpha builds, please correct me if wrong) in the cyanogenmod's device page and the build (Alpha-1) version of arco68's ROM?
it's considered unofficial because it's not being released by the core team from cyanogenmod. They don't and can't work on every single device.
Still, cyanogenmod announced recently that they will support and assist whenever possible independent developers (like arco) and make their ports official at some point and, of course, under certain criteria (QC probably).
AFAIK CM9 for the SGW will become an official CM9 release as soon as it gets finished.
If I'm not mistaken all releases of CM9 are still in alpha stage.

[Q] New 27-05 CyanogenMod ICS nightly

Does anyone know anything about these nightlies that show up on the official CM download site?
Are they Epy´s or Quarx´s builds made availiable through official channels or are they completely independent builds?
If so, what is different about these nightlies?
Thanks
If you mean this one...

It's CM7 and has nothing to do with ICS CM9...

[Q] Best fully working CM9?

Hello!
I didn't flash a CM rom for more than a year (Nexus 1), I want to try a good CM9 rom but which one is fully working and bugless?
I mean wifi,GPS,camera,camcorder...
I heard there is an ''echo'' bug in the voice calls?
Well the echo bug is fixed. Try trip's rom. It's pretty good and has almost everything working.
I'm on cm9 alpha 4 by (forgot the name but I think it's tbalden and mdj).
Will give trip's rom another try sometime later. Did not work good for me the first time.
Try this....
This is the most stable CM9

The torch app is working with the ''super bright'' option?
I have a major doubt about CM9 here. Why are there so many CM9's in the development section? When i had my nexus s there was only 1 cm9 thread started by the official maintainer of the device!
Furthermore which among the various CM threads is the actual one from the CM team with the official maintainer?
Or hasn't CM officially supported our device? I read that the SGS3 got official CM9 nightly builds.. Do we also have official nightly builds?

What's the difference in the CM9 builds

Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could say what the difference between the two builds of CM9 are. There's the team chopsticks version found here: http://www.teamchopsticks.org/p/install-guide.html. And there is the, I guess more or less, official release here: http://www.cyanogenmod.com/blog/cyanogenmod-9-rc2
Am I right in thinking that the team chopsticks version is an unofficial attempt to port it over at the same time that the CM team came out with official support.
Has anyone compated the two? I've often heard a lot about CM, but have never tried it. I'm currently running Darkside Evolution 3 v8 with Touch0Color theme and I love it.
Thought?
I too was thinking about giving the latest CM9 RC2 a try. Kind of waiting to see if anyone else gives it try and reports back. I might do it before end of day today though.

I am currently running same Rom as you but a version behind, V7. I am just hoping that I can install it with the same version of Clockwork that I used for Darkside.
Team Chopsticks are the official maintainers for CM on T989. They are the ones who incorporate and create the code for our device. CM requires that all code be checked and approved before being merged. The "unofficial" builds from team chopsticks represent experimental, unapproved changes yet to be fully merged into CM.
Essentially, they are one and the same.
ive been wondering the exact same thing. im currently running darksidev8 as a dd but recently tested aokp which was nice as well. now im interested in seeing what cm9 has to offer.
Try the Cm9 rc2 its a daily driver for me.

Best advice download and try roms from this site as opposed to searching the web and as others have said yes Team Chopsticks are the maintainers for our phone so what they do to CM9 will be strictly for our phones.
If you are new to CM9 just stick with the thread we have here and get goo.im which will help facilitate your downloads of updates.

[REQ]Compiling wpa_supplicant for 4.2.2 base

There is a well known issue with wpa_supplicant on 4.2.2 JB being broken for LEAP (802.11X Enterprise) authentication.
There is a development version of wpa_supplicant available (https://android.googlesource.com/platform/external/wpa_supplicant_8/) that solves the issue however recent patches from there didn't yet go into Google's release.
AOSP build from CM doesn't seam to be usable on non-AOSP ROMs and moreover I'm not sure it solves the issue (if it takes official Google release code then it doesn't).
If anyone could compile the code (https://android.googlesource.com/platform/external/wpa_supplicant_8/+/master) for non-AOSP builds (preferably ARHD ROM), it would be greatly appreciated.
