Amazon Aduro Case
Aduro Shell Holster Combo Case, found on amazon.
I have had this case for a week now. I really like the styling and it feels good; however, it is a snap on case and i'm not sure how the top and bottom edges on the phone will hold up in a fall.

Kickstand Case
I'm also looking for a good case with a kickstand for the Samsung Galaxy S3. Wasn't sure if I should start a new topic, so decided to post here first.
I don't use a phone dock, so the size of the case doesn't concern me. Would like full protection. (top and bottom edges covered) Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you. (Can't post outside links, sorry)
Here are three that I've found. Does anyone know of others?
Case-Mate Pop Case W/ Stand
Concerns: Some of Case-Mates cases bulge out around the edges after a short while. I also wonder about the durability of the kickstand on this case.
Seidio Active with Metal Kickstand
Concerns: Kickstand does not support device in portrait orientation. (Not a deal breaker though). I've never owned a Seidio case, so I personally don't know how quality they are.
TALKonline ProGel SOLID Super Hydro Gel Case W/ Stand
Concerns: Same as the Seidio, I've never owned a case from this company, so I don't know about the quality.

I've got this one as well and love it.

I have a Case-Mate Pop.
Pros:
1. Fits great.
2. Rubber side grips are great.
3. Push buttons work with zero problems.
4. The case totally surrounds the phone (except for the ports).
5. Rubber extends above the glass, so you can place the phone face down.
Cons:
1. The kickstand only works with the phone in a horizontal position. It does not work when the phone is vertical.
2. When placed on a table face up, the plastic part of the cover rests on the table. So, the plastic gets scratched over time.
3. Not a huge deal, but I wish it had covers for the power and earphone ports to keep them clean.

I got a TPU/plastic one off ebay for $7.50 and am liking it. I posted it about it at the other thread... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28547621&postcount=17
I've been using the dry-application screen protector that came with it and so far so good. It doesnt cover the whole front, since the screen edges are slightly curved, but it works. I also was in a hurry so just put the screen protector plastic that came with the phone on the back before stuffing it into the case just to protect from wear marks, etc. It has a side-effect benefit of covering the camera lens w/o seeming to affect image quality.

Seidio makes some of the best cases on the market. No doubt about it. I don't know about their kickstands but their cases are top notch.

Thanks for the feedback. I found a few other kickstand cases, but I still haven't made a decision. Dont really like any of them.

I have the case mate so far it's good, but I only been using it for two days. Ill keep posted.

I have a Case-Mate Pop and a Seidio Active. The Active's kickstand is heavier duty and the CM's kickstand is flimsy, but it is functional. However, I would not necessarily say that the Active is a better cover than the Case-Mate. I like the Case-Mate more than the Active, but I use the Active because I need to hang my phone on my belt. I preordered a Trident Kraken.

Has one tried this case http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Hard-...140748?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item19d524cb4c before?

I bought this case and I kept it on for about 30 seconds. It really made the phone feel cheap.
Currently not being productive on my S3.

If youre just looking for the kickstand feature, I'd recommend getting FlyGrip, a tad bit pricey though.

I recently purchased Aduro Shell Holster Combo with Kick-Stand from amazon because my husband thought it'd be nice to have a holster... but anyway... im a bit disappointed in general. First of all, the packaging... maybe cuz im picky but i didnt like that it came in a plastic baggie. The kickstand seems cheap and easily breakable. One thing I like is it's pretty grippy cuz of the material. Don't think it'll provide much protection from drops though. We read some good reviews on amazon, which is why we purchased but... it's mediocre at best imo. But my husband likes the back, me not so much. Here are some pictures:

I just received the same case although it was branded as a "JKase" and was 5 bucks cheaper than the Aduro branded one. It's actually pretty good and the holster also seems okay. I'm not sure of the sturdiness or longevity of this case and holster but so far so good.

Surface II or active

This is my final question about a case for my Evo, Im down to the Seidio Innocase II Surface and the Active which case will be the better choice? I red a couple reviews about the active not fitting correctly and i heard horror stories about the surface scratching the edges
I love my blue Seidio Innocase II Surface Case (looks purple on amazon)... Fits tight, no play. I have to go slow when I put it on so that I don't lift up the edge of my invisashield.
I think my case is the active and I hate it. The back has started to peel and a corner broke like it came unglued. I'm going to get an otterbox instead I think.

Looks like you have the innocase active limited edition, available only through amazon. I have the same and the plastic skeleton doesn't fit 100% perfectly, but it's not bad. I too had some clips (top and bottom right) break off, but mine gets banged up a lot while i'm at work so I wasn't too surprised.
The regular innocase active looks like the skeleton has been enlarged to prevent the clips from breaking.
I just ordered an otterbox commuter case and a seidio innocase rugged combo.
Personally, I like having the combo of a hard shell with the soft cushion of the silicone.

I had the exact same thing happen, but sedio did honor the warranty. Just a thought.
I bought the PT brand from Best Buy today and I believe it is the same as the surface. It is made by Seidio but labeled differently.
I love it. Doesn't add much bulk and feels good in the hand.
Well maybe I'll give them a call about the warranty. I like the overall case design just disappointed in the flaws I've had with it so far. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm in the same boat, my rugged has had the corners break off both on my case and my wife's.
I don't think I want to pay for the shipping to replace it through warranty though...I think I may just wait for TridentCase to make a Kraken case for the Evo.
Well, just got the seidio rugged case today and i'm really not impressed. Basically a larger version of the active limited edition. The plastic skeleton seems better quality though. Cheap port covers. My suggestions to seidio: take the rugged and shrink it to fit without the surface. Then make the belt clip so the phone can be inserted face in AND face out and reconfigure the top latch to be smaller/smoother.
Long story short, I switched back to my active limited while I wait for the trident cyclops and the otterbox commuter cases that I ordered to arrive.
Ps: I noticed that the exoskelleton from the rugged fits PERFECTLY over the one from the active limited.

No problems with my innocase active I got from eBay, I've seen a lot of people complaining about the limited edition one Amazon sells, very happy with mine though, and ebay had it cheaper than seidio's website. The otterbox isn't bad but only comes in one color I think.

Hate to be a bother, but anyway you or anyone can post pictures of their Active case? I'm on the fence about buying one, and if I do it'll be the Active case with holster combo.
Seidio says the camera does not touch any flat surface with the case, and it actually looks as if it doesn't add TOO much bulk to the phone like some others, and a couple of the Otterbox's I was looking at fall into that category.

The camera does not touch on a flat surface.
The case adds very little bulk, but it will sure seem like it does when you hold the evo naked after using it a while. Same for any case of this type.
I have the regular active (not the LE with smaller outer shell) and the rubbery outer coating has worn off in the corners like in the pics of the LE that were posted. I'm sure this is due to my using it in a snug leather case, and is confined to the corners. No big deal to me. You can only tell if you look closely.
As far as fit goes, it is snug and well designed. Button use is as good as naked. Only complaint is dust builds up slowly on the left side where the outer shell fits into the soft inner layer. I take it apart and rinse the soft layer off every couple weeks.
My phone has taken several 3ft drops (off desk, out of shirt pocket while tying shoe lace) and is completely unharmed.
Is it the best case in the world? Maybe not, but it is comfortable to hold and protects the phone very well.
If this one were to break, I may try the otterbox but I'm not parting with it any time soon.
The pictures on Seidio's web site are better than what I could send you.

fanboy much?
I have the New Blue/Black Active Case and i LOVE it it fits perfectly its easy to take off if you need to swap batteries or put it in a dock, the new STyle Active is very durable doesn't crack easily.
Ive had mine for months now and the only visable issue with the back is where the Seidio name is its rubbing off from being set down and rubbed against other than that it's great it fits perfectly doesn't shift no gaps nothing.
the pictures they posted for the active in the beginning of this post is from the Active LIMITED it was their trial run before they changed it to the new Style
This is The New Active Case

[Q] Seidio Active X Hybrid Case

Anyone purchase one of these yet? Looks good but company pictures just don't do any real world justice. $19 with free shipping on eBay is a great deal, but i'd rather keep the $19 in my pocket if the case isn't as good as it looks. That being said, with the new Otterbox cases "coming soon," I would rather make sure this is worth it before taking the bait.
Thanks in Advanced,
Rob

from the back that looks like the seidio rugged case I had on my nexus. The case in photos looks good but I dont care for the part at the top.
looks really bulky.....
I bought that for my husband and he really likes it. It completely covers the buttons on the sides so that takes a little getting used to but he needed something a bit sturdier and this looks like it should do the trick. We haven't dropped it intentionally though.

Questions:
According to the website, there's an option to purchase this case with the Holster combo for $50......there's also an option to get it WITHOUT the holster for only $30. As mentioned earlier, the website/ pictures at seidoonline.com does NOT do justice to its almost unclear as to what items are included.
Q1: Did you buy this with or without the Holster?
Q2: Regardless of Holster or not, does the package ALSO include the actual Innocase II case itself? I would think it would be common sense to include it, but you never know.
Thanks in advance.
Picked up one of these after reading about it in one of the otterbox threads.
Decent price through mygearstore, in addition timed it with a 25% off twitter coupon they posted
It came in pretty quick, seems pretty nice, I only had it on for about an hour, and reboxed it for for a present for the wife to give me. I've been using a cheap silicone case from ebay/amazon. The protected corners seems to be a big advantage and I like the feeling of the finger slots on the edges.
I'll post some images after the holidays if anyone is interested.

I vote for pics on this! Although, if you can post pics sooner that would be great (to help with decision-making before christmas)
If not, its ok also. "beggars cant be choosers..."
I have a heard a few good feedbacks, but nothing in depth such as a video on youtube for the captivate. It sucks that they don't have the Rugged Combo in Blue. They have it in the Hybrid version such as the image/ pic above my post, but if you look closer, there is a slight difference in the skin as far as a "camera cover" if you want to call it that. The Hybrid (which comes in blue) does NOT have that feature. I'm also interested in seeing if there are covers for the Ports on the top (3mm jack/ usb port) in either Rugged or Hybrid. Its silly i know, but both are the same price for 49.99 at Seidio, without the luxury of having the blue skeleton/ skin for the rugged combo.
I could easily buy both just to satisfy my Blue anxiety, but who would do that?!

Nice.
Questions:
1) does the top of the silicon skin provide covers for the ports (jack / usb)?
2) how lose (if any) is rubber skin?
3) have you tested to see how well it fits inside pockets (jeans/ pants/ etc)?

1. openings only not a sealable/closed cover - but the usb sliding cover (phones) was easy to open and close with the case on
2. rubber skin is pretty tight it isn't loose at all, I really like the way the plastic X fits over the corners
3. its much slicker then the silicone $4 special case I've been using, part of that is the x plastic but the rubber itself is much smoother.
I won't really have a decent review until I get to use it after x-mas but the hour or so I did have it on it was worth the $18 I had to spend on it.

Sorry for the delay in responding.
I bought it with the holster for him but he doesn't use it much as he stores it in his chest coat pocket most of the time and the clip gets in the way.
The Active X does not include the Innocase II as they are incompatible with each other. The Rugged is the one that fits over the Innocase II. (Basically, the Active X is just a slimmed down version of the Rugged that fits directly on to the phone itself instead of over another case.)
More Pics + Quick Feedback
Got my Active X a few days ago.
I'm a belt clip user, so this was one of few available options. I had a Seidio Innocase for my HTC Fuze that I did not like: the rubbery coating peeled and flaked off, and the clips holding the case on broke within 5 months. They sent me a brand new replacement right away but the same problems repeated. I have the same concerns about the coating on the X-skeleton portion of the Active X but fortunately there are no small plastic parts to break.
Pros:
(1) Not too bulky. I like the feel in my hand. Naked Captivate felt easy to drop even though thinness was quite sexy. Still slips in/out of pocket easily.
(2) Seems like good protection but I have no objective data on this.
(3) Great belt clip: secure, comfortable.
(4) Fit is spot on and I still have a skin on underneath.
(5) Nice blue color.
Cons:
(1) Durability concerns.
(2) Buttons have almost no feedback although they work fine and are actually quite responsive. Takes getting used to.
(3) Rubber gets dusty but its not too hard to brush off.
(4) Spendy
Verdict: Me like.
Photos: I can't make links since I'm a new user on XDA Please go to Flickr and search for "Seidio Active X Hybrid Case for Captivate". My photos should come up at the top. There is a set of 6 pics.
Cheers.
I'm actually looking forward to Christmas to put this bad boy back on.
fonion,
I'd argue about con #4. I was able to get my active x pretty cheap. Not as cheap as a amazon $3 silicone cover but still significantly cheaper then the comparable otterbox commuter case.

Very NICE review.....this in addition to Polarbee's feedback = another anxious buyer. lol
Thanks cmeyer
I'd agree with fonion's evaluation. I was given the Active X as a Christmas gift (yes, Christmas already... the first of too many to count. The kids like it though!).
It fits nice on the phone. A little bulkier than your standard run of the mill 2$ silicone cover - which is actually nice for me. I have fairly big hands and the naked Captivate was a little dainty for me - I like the bulk that this case adds.
My one complaint, which fonion also mentioned, is that the case does get dusty. I throw the phone in my pocket and it picks up lint & fuzz, which, because I'm a bit OCD, bothers me more than it should...
All in all, I'm really happy with it (only had it on a couple of days). Really pleased with the quality of the case, and the fit & feel of it.
I have one and really like it. Fits very snug and covers very well. Sure it picks up a little lint, but it will blow right off. Other observations: the hard plastic spider is rubberized too though neither part is particularly grabby. On mine the spider doesn't completely seat in the rubber, bit it's no big deal. I wish the to part of thr face wasn't covered up though. I replaced the body glove hard case with this and am quite happy with it.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
I'm digging it! My spider fits well. Nice feel to it as well.

I'm really surprised this case doesn't get any love. I've been really please with it over the last 6 weeks or so.

I love mine but I ended up trimming the top portion, my fat fingers couldn't get the drop menu to work.

I got this one as well. Had it for my Captivate too. Works great and doesn't stick to your pocket lining.
I think the Incipio Feather case should be very thin. Available from them directly or I'm hearing in Radio Shack too.
We have that same case on the wife's iP4 and it adds almost no bulk to the phone. It probably doesn't provide much shock resistance like the Otterbox cases, but prevents scratches and makes it easier to grip.
I purchased a smoke TPU case off of EBay; should be here today or tomorrow. I've used a TPU case on my EVO since about 2 weeks after I had it and I love the feel and the slimness of the case, and the fact that it provides a bumper of sorts to keep the screen from lying on surfaces (unlike the Incipio case).
The one I purchased is item 290530353216 (chose that one due to the seller's location being near to me, only reason really).
If you have prime with Amazon, the case 2 posts above is only $2 with 2 day shipping

Can you still dock the phone with the body glove?
The body glove case works with the car dock perfectly. It's a great case. Not to rubbery and not to slippery, just right.
any TPU case is the way to go. rubbery and protective, but not too rubbery to stick in your pocket and not come out.

are they easy to take off and put on? is the material bendable?
I purchased the Speck case at the Att store. Very good protection nice looks without the added bulk of an otterbox case.

Just scored the Incipio Feather case (in black) - we're already using one on our iPhone 4, and I really like it. I wanted something to cover the back/side, provide better grip, and maybe offer a touch of drop resistance, but that's secondary.
The material is super thin, like 0.5mm or thinner, it basically adds no bulk to the phone. It does come with a screen protector, but I doubt I'll use it, I'm pretty gentle with my phones and they're usually just in my pocket (and I keep my rusty nails and broken glass in a +different+ pocket). Plus the design isn't edge-to-edut
The fit is tight, really clean, the ports/buttons are easily accessible. It uses that popular "soft touch" type material, which has an almost felt like surface. We have a Speck case that's like this. The nice thing vs. silicone is it's grippy, but it doesn't attract dust ~n~ gunk and wipes clean. It also isn't so sticky that it's hard to get out of a pocket!

What about with the standard dock or the HD Multimedia dock?

The Body Glove does not work with these docks. It will fit (extremely tight), but the thickness of the sides of the case near the HDMI and microUSB ports keeps the phone from sitting all the way down on the dock. The end result is that it doesn't trigger or power the device.
I ended up returning my dock because of this.
+1 for the Incipio feather. Its the right mix of style and protection in the this case range. I dropped my phone about two feet this morning, and the feather was more than adequate to protect it.

Out of curiosity, did you try your screen protector?

Seidio Innocase II Surface for Atrix - Review

I've been using Seidio products for quite a few years now on my phones. It started back with the Blackberry Pearl. Since that first experience, I had decided that this was a brand of protection I was going to use on all future phones. Of course, that didnt keep me from trying others as well, just knew it would be the one I would keep.
Most recently I picked up a Motorola Atrix to replace my Nexus One. The whole time I had my Nexus One it was shielded with a Seidio Innocase cover. Unfortunately, when I picked up my Atrix there was no Seidio available, yet. In that time I decided to pick up the Otterbox Defender case. I had never used an Otterbox case before but after receiving the product, I deemed it way too bulky for my daily use and promptly put it back in its packaging.
My favorite parts of Sedio Cases are that Innocase II Surface is designed to protect your phone from scratches and drops while barely adding to the size of your phone. Many users find their sleek design easier to grip than a bare device due to their signature soft touch finish, which enhances the look of the phone and does not attract lint. This is huge for me because I put my phone in my pocket most of the time. This case easily slides in and out of the pocket without sticking or creating more bulk. The Otterbox had a soft rubber outer seal which stuck to the pocket and constantly needed cleaning of lint.
One of the other design features I've become quite fond of is their unique slide-in design which makes putting on and removing your case easy. One piece slides on the top and then the other the bottom and they form a clasp that holds together. This is much easier than the Otterbox which is multiple pieces with an additional piece surrounding all of that. If you ever have to do a battery pull, you know how frustrating it is when you cant get your case off easily. That being said, the Innocase is not simple protection either like a cheapo case you pull off the rack and fit the phone into.
I also liked that I have full access to the screen. I dont use any screen protector and the edges of the Innocase are raised just enough that if I placed the phone face down, the screen wouldn't touch. However, if I chose to put on some type of film, it wouldn't inhibit the use of the case either. Unlike with the Otterbox, it has the film built into the case which would sometimes create blotches where it touched the screen.
When using the case it immediately felt comfortable and while I noticed slightly more material to grip the phone with, I was still able to use all the buttons with ease. The fingerprint reader opening is designed so that the finger easily slides in the same manner as without the case, yet still protects it. The volume buttons were easily manipulated as well and all the ports were very accessible yet clearly protected.
The only downside to this case, and pretty much any other case out there, is that it does need to be removed in order to fit into a dock. I have the standard dock and no matter what angle I tried, the phone with the case on wont fit. Again, this is a situation where having an easily removable(yet sturdy) case is a lot less frustrating than a more difficult one. Especially if you're using the dock every night.
EDIT: As pointed out by another member, the dock DOES work. I had no clue the base of the dock pops out to allow more access to the USB pin via phones with cases. So even with the case on, it WILL work on the bedside(standard) dock.
Overall Im very happy with this case and is the one I've been waiting to come out for the phone. The other nice thing about the Seidio cases is their matching holster. These are just as slim without the bulk. Plus the have the ability to lock the phone into the holster, thereby eliminating accidental removal.
There might be other designs or knockoffs of this product, but there really is only one Innocase.
Please find pictures below comparing the case with the phone, my old Nexus One with a Seidio Innocase II and an Atrix Otterbox Defender case.

thanks for the review! i've been hoping to see some non-seidio pics of this for a while. do you happen to have any full-case shots of it without any comparison cases? i.e. just the phone and case itself, also the back of the case, etc?

The first picture should be of just the phone and the case side by side. Ill post a pic of the back of the case shortly. Are there any other case shots requested?
thanks for hte review, i had the innocase for my captivate and the one thing that really bothered me was how the lip on the edge of the case around around the screen is raised so dirt always got trapped between the screen and under the edge of the case. is this a problem with the atrix?

Ive never had any issues with dirt getting trapped under my Seidio cases. I can tell you that with this Atrix case, its very form fitting and Id be surprised if dirt got under the edge.
This seems an awesome review for the seidio case for the ATRIX... Can someone suggest a nice and (cheaper ) place where I can get this awesome piece of hardware??

I disagree with what you are saying. Dust gets trapped there like any other case that is raised like that. It's not a huge problem for me, but I find myself detaching the case and just wiping quickly when my pockets are too linty. But it isn't a huge problem for me.
If anyone is interested. The black case with bundled holster/clip is shipping now. The colored ones were still showing "Soon". I have it on the way.
I did not see anything on the clip in the OPs review, so when i get it i will followup with pics.
I also had an N1 with the same case. BEST case ever, is correct. I need to know if the Atrix combo will work with the car dock?

I had a Seidio on my Nexus 1 and loved it. This one is just as nice. My only gripe is how tough it is to remove. The N1 case had a little give, this one won't budge. For me the only way to remove it was to slip a plastic shim under the locking tab.

Here are pics with the case and the clip.
So far so good. I am very pleased with this case/clip. I have to carry 2 phones and my old holster seemed to just be too bulky.
The phone sits in it securely
Its sturdy, the clip is secured with a brass rivet and not a plastic one so should take a lot of force to break.. The clip swivels so you can have it Vert or Horiz on your belt.
The spring on the top does not seem to have the same tension as the one for my blackberry so I have been nervous about setting it horizontal.

heh it looks like your speaker grill has the fignernail indent from thinking it was the power button? you can easily press/smooth it back out next time you have your battery cover off. it bends back just as easily

Ya I got that trying to use the phone at 3am. I have a very loud and annoying notification set for an emergency email address that use for work. It went off and i had a hell of a time waking it up
I just ordered this case after spending 3 days with the Otterbox Impact. Otterbox makes excellent cases, but the Impact is just a silicone case that doesn't fit as snug as I wanted.
Hopefully it will be as good as people say when it arrives in a few days.
I just ordered it too - should be here around Wednesday. I'll report back with my findings. Based on your review though, I'm pretty excited about it. I don't normally spring for cases.
It arrived today!
It's sweet. I'm too lazy to post pictures.
It's a super snug fitting case, and it's not obnoxiously branded (ahem, speck cases), and it has a good feel in your hands. It also barely adds on any thickness to the already very thin Atrix.
All in all an excellent investment in my opinion.
i am from Argentina, anyone know if they shipping? as charged? many
thanks!
Hey guys! I just got my case in the mail today and after using it for a full day, I can say that I love it.
The added bulk isn't too noticeable. In fact, I find it easier to grip the phone with the case on. The soft-touch plastic is wonderful, though it does stick a bit when I put it in my pocket.
One nice touch I've found, whether intentional or not, is that the case helps direct sound from the back speaker. I found watching shows on my phone to be noticeable louder.
10/10!
I've been through a few cases since I got my Atrix. This one is BY FAR the best I've used so far.

Seidio ACTIVE Case Review

I received an ACTIVE case from Seidio recently and it was for the Motorola Atrix 4G. Well being a case from Seidio, it had to be something good packed in it.
The package was nicely fitted into an average sized package and it contained an instruction pamphlet and the case itself. No pictures here sorry =(. The case is consists of a 2 piece design where the 1st piece is a silicon based glove and a harder backbone would be attached on to the back to strengthen the case.
Here's the case compared to the other cases

(from left: Otterbox Impact, Motorola Atrix, Seidio ACTIVE case, Otterbox Commuter)
Size : The Seidio ACTIVE case had the slimmest appearance among all the other cases and it was the lightest among them too. The Otterbox Impact was the bulkiest followed by the Otterbox Commuter Case.
Looks good!
Closer view on the top section of the ACTIVE case. There is even a small curve at front camera. Nice one there Seidio!
Front View: The Seidio ACTIVE case covers the sides of the Atrix and has a groove to enable users to place the phone face down and would prevent the screen from getting scratched. However, it is noted that there is no protection on the top section of the phone unlike the Otterbox Commuter. I personally preferred the one without because on the Otterbox Commuter, there was a noticeable amount of dust getting stuck at the earpiece and the front camera. Getting them cleaned was a hassle compared to the ACTIVE case which is much easier to clean.
Back view: Back side of the case. It resembles a fish bone type of design and there are hand grips on the sides which gives a nice secure hold when it is held. The finishing on the back section was also a joy to touch as it was slightly rubberised but still strong enough to withstand impacts.
The earphone jack area and finger print scanner had their own openings. As expected, the case is quite a dust magnet but it is negligible as I found it quite easy to wipe it off. I've yet to find a case which does not attract dust at the moment.
The jacks were left exposed as well. Probably this is to reduce the weight of the case and ease accessibility to the ports. Makes plugging the device in and out from the cable easy =). The rubber grip on the back adds extra functionality by preventing the phone from sliding off the table as well.
Here's another shot where the finishing of this case could be much improved. Guessed it is from the molding process.
Final thoughts: The case from Seidio did not fail to impress me. Protection was great as it felt really solid and the fittings were perfect. The looks were pleasant to the eyes and not too large unlike some cases where you would look like carrying a little rock with you. The only thing that I hoped could be improved was the finishing of the product and it could be molded better. Product well worth the $ 29.95 price tag. Blows all the TPU cases or cheap branded silicon cases out of the water.
Nice review!
I take it that it has a silicone feel to it? I hate the texture of the Ottorbox plastic bits, reminds me of nails on a chalkboard.
Yup, very nice review. Case looks nice but I already see hairs sticking to the silicone. Looks nicer than Otterbox though.

Seidio and the Car Dock
Does the Seidio case have to be removed for the phone to be placed into the car dock? I currently have the Body Glove case from AT&T but am looking for something a little different.
Thanks,
JAFO
This case looks pretty nice. Anybody know if they have a store where I can actually pick it up from though?

The harder shell of the case feels like the back of a SE xperia x10. hard but slightly rubbery feel while the other parts feels like the otterbox silicon.

somehow it looked slimmer when it was placed on the atrix :S
These kinds of cases look too "industrial" for my taste. They seem to serve a purpose if you are putting your phone down in hostile environments but my phone is either in my holster or on my desk next to me.
Does anyone know if this case works with the laptop dock?
I just received this case and I love it. It fits my hands nice and has a great feel to it.

The only two cases I have found that fit in the car dock are
1 - Motorola Ruggedized Battery Door, fits perfect in all docks with the little shim removed.
2 - The butt ugly Body Glove that AT&T sells for way too much money, I bought one too.
I have also tried the Seidio Active, a very nice case with great protection, and the Seidio Surface, preserves some of the slimness of the phone while giving some protection.
I've had this case for a few weeks now. Has anyone who owns one noticed any peeling on the silicone part? At the top of mine is has started to peel a bit. Is this normal?
Edit:
Here's what it looks like. I take good care of the phone too and have never dropped it. This is just from basic use.
Mine sees daily use as a gaming pad for a 3 year old and I've seen no problems.
