Rooted CDMA Xperia Play - Want to put CM7 on

Alright, i feel like I am halfway there. I have rooted my Verizon Xperia Play thanks to ashergrays unlock code through fast boot. I don't think the rom on it now though is correct (i believe it is a GSM rom. I don't know how I managed that.
I want to put CM7 on it, but I understand I need to flash a new kernel as well. My questions are as follows:
1.) can someone point me to the link to the correct kernel to flash for a CDMA Xperia?
2.) How do I get recovery on my Xperia play? Or is it already there? That's where I'm really lost. Any help would be appreciated.

All the info in in the CM7 thread!!
Recovery comes with the kernel. You get ..... Guess where?? IN THE CM7 THREAD
I'd like to add another CM7 CDMA Question in here.
Wifi is essential to me (Locked on a data cap) so I dont use 3G often.
Can anyone confirm that Wifi is working with the CDMA FXP025?

that thread is a cluster ****. release notes and updates should be in their respected area, in the posts for the GSM and CDMA download posts. not cluttered through out the whole thing.

I was just trying to find out if you were on a odex or deodexed rom, but I am guessing you are on stock. If so go with the ODEX (STOCK) ROMS zip.

Same answer as above, Visit this thread to flash any of the Firmware you want http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/35239?start=0&tstart=0
Or since you have a locked bootloader, you can use SUS or PCC to repair your phone
Sorry i post in the wrong thread.

Basesbands

I really need some help from someone to explain to Me what baseband are!
I think im using -64 (I went to about phone)
So can someone tell me about them and which one provides the best performance! However I already know that the phoenix vendor baseband makes ur partitions bigger (data), and lupus does this from v7 and upwards!
Also how do I install a baseband?
THANKX in Advance!
Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baseband if you wanted the complicated
but in short It's the firmware that talks to the cellular radio hardware. I believe the basebands for the cdma and gsm phones are different so first i'd figure that out.
Ok tnx but in android the baseband can modify the data partition size and system...
Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app
The baseband has nothing to do with the storage on the device. The kernel is setting the size of the partitions as far as i know.
The baseband is really just responsible for telephony stuff
Oh ok, thanks!

Thank this guy folks.. clearly he put a lot of time into gathering all the files and placing them under his own resources.

you at wrong section dude. .please follow the rules. .
check in about phone if you have baseband..if you dont, try a full wipe and reflash a stock rom
oh, and read this first before posting in development section
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1818390
Don't post questions in Development, moved to Q&A.
Thanks
If Boyheaddick's post don't help, go to Settings, Xperia, Internet and MMS settings. When at WiFi, it will download your APN.
Yea I would check your APN. If you don't have one make one or restore it like already suggested over wifi.
