Hello all, is Chainfire 3D working on Android Revolution or Insertcoin ? I get stuck at the bootscreen after installing the driver. Thanks.
Same here, had ARHD 7.1 on my HOX and installed the Chainfire Drivers. Got a bootloop and had to reflash everything...
Do we need chainfired???? That should be the name of this thread. I don t use it.
LET THEM TALK, ALOUD!! HTC ONE X, THE ONLY ONE. VIPERX + FRANCO KERNEL r12

Hi all!
I have a cdma desire and im just wondering is there a kernel out there with loop support?
I would love to run ubuntu on my phone, but i need loop first to be able to run it in VNC.
Thank you guys for the support and please post links if available!
What rom are you using right now?

I have oxygen running. I can switch to anything you need me to though. Remember I have a cdma desire thanks!

It will allow you to run any app you can run on desktop Ubuntu, coming with a Chromium browser, Thunderbird email, Rhythmbox music player and Shotwell photo editor as standard. It will be compatible with any device running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) or above, but unfortunately, you won’t just be able to simply download and install it yourself, since Ubuntu is currently liaising with mobile vendors and carriers to install the software at manufacturing stage.
Then again, all the Ubuntu code will be open-source as it always has been, so custom ROM makers congregated over at XDA-developers and the like should be able to add the OS in custom ROM releases.

Hello everyone,
I bought one x a few days ago and I'm already in love in it, but there's only one thing that prevents me to be perfectly happy with my new phone, it is 3 Dots Menu! So, the case is:
My HTC was on Android 4.0.3, so I installed Android Revolution HD 6.1.1, the thing is I have no "Display, gestures and Buttons" menu, there's only "Display & gestures".
I know that if I had Android 4.0.4 I would be able to install Revolution HD 7 ROM, and it has 3 dot menu remover.
So, my question is: Is there any way to install Andoir 4.0.4 manually, then root it, and install Andoir revolution hd 7?
I know i'm noob, I used to have iPhone.
Please help, it is a metter of life and death!
Install InsertCoin 7.2.0. It has the new build.

Is InsertCoin as good as Revolution? I mean Tegra 3 optimized and etc. And does it have any 3 dot menu remover?

Why. Not look at the devs thread? You're question would easily be answered there.

the roms that you install are built on a particular android version so arhd for example is built on android 4.0.4 (I think) so you don't need to upgrade to that android version before installing that rom. its the other way around, when you flash that rom you will upgrade to that version of Android. good luck
Or use ARHD 7.1.0 if you wanna stick with the same Dev

I upgraded to ARHD 7.1.0. It looks cool everything is ok. But is there any chance to make battery last longer?
I mean, I think comparing to 6.1.1 battery dies sooner. Is it fault of new version? Also, can you tell me what to tick when installing 7.1.0 to get better battery life?
Thanks in advance.
I've no idea, I've not rooted my phone (first one I've not done it). I want to keep my warranty intact

hahhaa... me too!!!:fingers-crossed:
I am a new user to the forums and I couldn't post this to the Development section yet.
I did not first ROM install with the Revolution 7.2 I tried us Bricked 3.0 but I got bootloop.
I switched to the Standard Rom for Revolution HD and now everything is working. However when trying to use a different kernel Bricked I get the Bootloop again.
Is this a problem with 7.2 or with the Kernel? Not sure I would like the Swipe to acess instead having to hit the on button all the time. Is it possible to get this without installing the Bricked Kernel?
Thanks

Search for the "repacked kernel for ARHD Rom" thread in the dev forum. You will find all kernels there... I bet there is one with s2w too. But it's not working well for me... Swipe for 2-3 times till the phone wakes up is annoying...

I downloaded v.0.3.
Is this not the correct one?
I got the link form the Revolution HD forum under kernels. There was also abeta v0.35 but I didn't use that one. It said it was repacked.
I did erase cache.
I see a v 0.21 that says repacked should I use that. Since I am on the latest build of android 4.0.4 I didn't want to flash an older core.
Thanks

Hello, i have rooted wildfire s (im 2012 wildfire s user) with s-on. My phone have cwm 5.0.2.8. I was try to to install this custom roms:
CyanogenMod 10: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1861623
[ROM][Unofficial][4.1.2] CyanogenMod 10 Nightlies for the Wildfire S: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2022331
and m1ndh4h0rz rom (i couldn´t find link on this forum)
I was try delete dalvik cache and all things in recovery menu with delete attribute
So my problem is that when i was try to install these roms in recovery it will all end with status 7 error. So i try the “updater-script” file trick (this: http://www.androidgadgematic.com/2012/12/fix-custom-rom-installation-status-7.html). Then the cwm say that rom is installed but when i restart mobile it will show only white htc logo and no boot. Next i was flash this stock rom: (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1757585) because phone wont start (htc white logo when start phone and nothing).
Now im on this stock rom and my question is how i can install custom roms with no status 7 error. (cyanogen mod 10 rom)
And sorry for my poor english
Thanks for all answers
I have t same issue

Try out Jelly King 2.0, it has a kernel which supports 2012 Wildfire S's. Its based on CM10 and minor bugs have been fixed for a pretty much stable ROM. The only issue is battery life.
Or if you want to try out CM7, there's a kernel for your phone in the any wfs user interested thread. I'll post a link in a minute.
