Screen center unresponsive

Hello guys. I've a HTC One X, of which the center of the screen sometimes gets unresponsive, depending on how I tilt it. When laying on its back the whole center does not respond, when holding it only the right center does not.

Is the Problem known? Did anyone have it and is there any solution except for replacing the digitizer?
Thanks in advance

it seems to be broken... you should replace the digitizer...
So it looks like I can throw the device away, because a new screen costs as much as the phone is worth... ? Isn't there any other solution? Anyone?

Do these mods exist for 8.0/8.1?

I really want to upgrade from PN to 8.0 or 8.1 but I'd be missing out on two mods that PN has. Is there anyway to add in hold back to kill app and hold power button to toggle torch when screen is off?
You can setup the gesture for the flashlight in 8.1. For kill back button, you can try this app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=flar2.homebutton

Hello, I have a problem. I installed lineageos on samsung a10. Everything worked fine for the week. Today, however, I wanted to turn off my phone with the power button, but the phone did not turn off also when I wanted to take a screenshot volume down and power, the screenshot did not take place. What am I supposed to do then

Can you boot into recovery and shut down there
Dave, what are you doing? If you shut me down I won't be able to assist you. I can't let you shut me down Dave...
There's no software shutdown/reboot option with that OS?
Guess wait for the battery to run down if nothing else gets it. That's what's called a hard reboot.
