Today, however, I wanted to turn off my phone with the power button, but the phone did not turn off also when I wanted to take a screenshot volume down and power, the screenshot did not take place. Can you boot into recovery and shut down there

Dave, what are you doing? If you shut me down I won't be able to assist you. I can't let you shut me down Dave...
There's no software shutdown/reboot option with that OS?
Guess wait for the battery to run down if nothing else gets it. That's what's called a hard reboot.

[Q] Root, unlock, etc without a working Power key?

My power key doesn't seem to work when I boot into bootloader. Works fine when in normal OS, but I can't even get to the bootloader with the normal Power + Vol- key method.
So far I tried to sidestep this "little problem" using hasoon2000's all-in-one toolkit, everything goes smoothly until I get to the point were you have to confirm you want to unlock,

The power key won't work and I can't move foward. Last time I tried I was stuck here for a while until the phone decided reset itself
I'd like to root and install a new rom on my phone, but how to get past this is completely outside my capabilities. Any help is welcome
Edit: I should add, sending it in for repairs is not a very viable option sadly, since I'm currently in Argentina

It's not rooted. Just upgraded to lollipop over OTA last week. Tried clearing cache from recovery, didn't gelp. Yet to factory reset. But want to know if there is anyway to do it by not factory resetting. Have some data in it.
Try booting into safe mode,to boot into safe mode turn on the phone and long press the power button and you should see "do you want to boot into safe mode" press OK.and uninstall any apps you may have installed recently.
use SP flash tools. download lollipop flash file. flash it, all will be ok

Nexus 7 (2013) Power Menu keep appearing all the time

Hello, I have this tablet and I'm really annoyed because it keeps appearing the power menu totally random(it may vary some seconds), even if I don't press the power button or any button at all.
I've sent it to a service, they changed the power and volume buttons, but the problem still persisted.
Tried to factory reset it, no change... Tried to root it and flash a custom rom, no change.
I've also tried to disconnect the button from the tablet...No luck.
At least I know is a soft-related problem, not hard-related. Any suggestions what should I do or if there is any log where I can read what activate the power menu?

You could change the mapping of the hardware button to tell for sure if the buttons are the problem ...it could be the connector ....

A50 stuck on boot logo after Magisk update

Hi everyone, today I was updating my father phone Magisk app, as usual it downloads and installs the update then it reboots, and boom, it goes stuck on boot screen and i cant do anything.
I attached an image so you can see.
I tried the method to heat up the CPU part i marked in the 2nd photo, but that also didn't work... i sincerely don't know what to do, but especially I don't know what I did wrong because up until that moment it worked great, I changed a lot of roms and it never had any problem
Thank you very much to everyone willing to read and help me!

try to boot to download mode by pressing vol + and vol - and then connect to pc
or force reboot then press all the buttons then connect to pc
Don't update recovery. Because it is custom made otherwise every reboot root will lost
I have the exact same problem. Please tell me if you found a solution
