Skins for UKB? - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

I have found a few customs via the play store and other threads of some custom skins for one x roms but the only 1 that shows is the icehd skin. They do show up in the data/app folder but not in the skins menu.

At a glance all the permissions are set the same, but I am not sure where else to look or if there is an easy way to get them to work without having to pull them apart with some sort of s/w.

Icehd is for full sense 4. If you're on ukbV, full sense 4 skins won't work.

All the normal skins are there for the x and v versions its just some of the other skins I have found for sense 4 roms aren't showing up in the skin chooser even though they are in the data/app folder. I know that hawknests mikics skin only works on v and the icehd skin only works on x but I have a few others that I found that don't work on either so I am wondering if they are full sense 4 specific and if that is the case is there an easy edit I can make to the apk file or would I have to use a s/w program and several hours of hair pulling and screaming at my puter to get them to work

Is there an HTC battery widget for the EVO like the one found on the HTC Hero? I tried the one from my Hero, it installed and works but is not properly calibrated for the EVO. Any suggestions or alternates would be appreciated.

Yes there is. Look in my ROM thread. There's a file with HTC widgets you can grab; it's in there.
download fresh's latest rom and extract it from there and push it to your phone. if that doesnt work nandroid, flash fresh's rom, titanium the battery widget, nandroid back, and then restore the widget. or just stick with fresh's rom.
with the new update doesnt seem to install. any help. or is it just me
won't install for me either, I pulled the apk from ava's rom and I also tried the download in Steel's thread, all files won't install.
The hero version worked fine, it does stick out for being smaller.

Dont like the new market. The green **** (yes.) takes half of the screen space on a 800x480 device that's just dumb. Prolly pushed by publishers in the "featured" who pay money to get there or something.
Descriptions are halved because this green stuff takes all the space. comments, same. List, same.

MIUI: Icons

Hi.
I was wondering if there is any way of reverting back to Android shaped icons for apps, as I am not fond of the default MIUI iPhoney style icons.
If yes, please explain.
Many Thanks.
Anyone?

Yes with MIUI you can do lots of customization, not to stick on with iPhone style.

The screenshot you attached shows icon in a Square box, this is what I do not want. I want it to be translucent and only showing icon shape. You know what I mean, kapeesh.
Icons very customisable, I'm sure you will find something to suit.
You can either use the theme manager on your phone, or find some here on XDA.. There are many icons, trust me
looks nice. what does miui stand for?
No disrespect, but why is this thread getting so much attention from noobies who have no clue what I'm talking about and pointing out the obvious and irellavent answers?
only 10 behind you

Looking for a new dialer

Anybody find another dialer that works with our phones? I'm not a huge fan of the stock dialer.
Go contacts
Dialer One is pretty bad ass.

Trying out Touchpal Dialer by Cootek... I used Dialer One on my Nexus One and got on well with it but want something with a crisper UI...
+1 for Touchpal dialer.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk
ended up dumping touchpal dialer... Watchdog was flagging it as hi CPU even when the phone was idle... trying out GoDialerEX right now but have a feeling i'll find myself back with DialerOne... stock dialer is seriously lacking! why cant i click a pic of a contact after typing a few letters of their name and get actiuons like SMS, call, Open contact etc. the way I can with every other dialer??
Same about TouchPal... liked the crispness of the UI

+1 on this one, most of the apps they have are very good and user friendly.
go dialer/contacts is the best out, a lot of options/themes and stable
yup tried all 3 mentioned here and liked go dialer/contacts the most clean with options and had the functions I liked.

Yup... I'm running GoDialer EX at 200 as opposed to the stock 240 density and all is well... The green "call" butten is a tiny bit stretched but its tons better than the way the stock dialer looks at 200
Anyone know of a dialer like the one is sense...it was great at connecting pictures to Facebook and still only showing my Google contacts

ICS Motoblur Launcher!

Should work on any ICS ROM
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/ics-motoblur-launcher-on-any-phone/
Motoblur has gotten a bad rap in its earlier days as an OEM skin. Unlike early iterations of HTC Sense and TouchWiz that were bloated but still usable, MotoBlur was almost unanimously considered unusable. However, now that Motoblur has been streamlined and given far less bloat, it’s only fair that we give it another shot.
Users now have access to the newest iteration of Motoblur launchers thanks to XDA Senior Member RockoDev. Both launchers provided by the developer are for Ice Cream Sandwich phones only, and give users the Motoblur experience without actually needing to buy a Motorola device.
The launchers, based on files from the Motorola Droid RAZR, will give any phone running 4.0 and higher a chance to check out the newest Motoblur. Users simply need to download one of the two APKs and either ADB Push them to system or use their favorite root-enabled file manager to move it there manually. Reboot and voila!
For those who would rather not use ADB or a root file manager to deposit the system files, RockoDev has promised flashable zips in the near future, so simply check back every couple of days if you’d rather go that route. Of course these APKs are just launchers, and not the whole Motoblur experience, but we all know how much of an impact changing your launcher has.
Additional information, download links to both APKs, instructions, and screen shots can be found in the application thread.
