Is there an HTC battery widget for the EVO like the one found on the HTC Hero? I tried the one from my Hero, it installed and works but is not properly calibrated for the EVO. Any suggestions or alternates would be appreciated.
Search battery widget in market.. few good ones that I use on there.

Yes there is. Look in my ROM thread. There's a file with HTC widgets you can grab; it's in there.
download fresh's latest rom and extract it from there and push it to your phone. if that doesnt work nandroid, flash fresh's rom, titanium the battery widget, nandroid back, and then restore the widget. or just stick with fresh's rom.
with the new update doesnt seem to install. any help. or is it just me
won't install for me either, I pulled the apk from ava's rom and I also tried the download in Steel's thread, all files won't install.
The hero version worked fine, it does stick out for being smaller.

I run both the one from the hero and batteryleft. The numbers match. Bat-left gives a predicted time till SOL.
dang htc widget was nice and simple

If I understand it correctly, that's the launcher (app drawer) from Nexus One.
would like to see 5 icons across rather than four. But not sure what else it does lol

How have you had it working, i.e. in the sense that it looks and acts like a nexus one.

We have already found that you just pull the apk from a nexus1 rom and install it onto the desire.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6002164&postcount=80
Then you goto applications and remove htcsense from being default and force close it. when you next go to the home screen it asks which one you want to use (htcsense or launcer2)
EDIT: You can also install Gallery3d from the nexus this way

But if you just install launcher2.apk from N1 it's not functioning properly -- icons are small, etc.

Just a guess but do you maybe have a clock widget on your home screen? That's what the image looks like.
Swyped from my Evo on steroids.
no i dont since theres a clock in the notification bar and lock screen it seems pointless to have a third clock anywhere.
if it is a widget i can delete it then right? why would a clock widget need every permission available?
i have it frozen with titanium backup for now and i dont notice any difference
Yea I would back it up in titanium backup then delete it so you could put it back what ever the hell it is.
Swyped from my Evo on steroids.
I saw one of those at one point as well. I wasn't sure where it came from either, but I deleted it and haven't seen it in several ROM flashes since.
It's the htc clock/alarm/timer/world clock. So it's not gonna hurt to leave it in case you need to set an alarm, or just defrost as needed.
but all my clock, alarms, etc work with it frozen. someone asked in myns thread and the reply was that its the desires flip clock (or something close)

Not only do the shapes randomly change in colors, but any time you swipe across the screen or click an icon it creates a ripple effect like in a lake. I suggest trying it out if you're looking for a nice live wallpaper that is good for showing off.
will try it
Edit: cool I will keep this
Thanks for the suggestion. I was looking for the perfect wallpaper and found it.

Hiya!
I have a question for the first and the third poster, how do you change the colour of the topbar? (the wifi-icon, the battery icon etc) because mine are just a plain and boring white

We're using Gingerbread ROMs (i.e. CyanogenMod 7 or GingerVilian).
I've been using LightGrid Pro for awhile, it's the perfect update to good old Popsquares.
Of course, I rarely see it except for the lockscreen, since I can't seem to pull myself away from Slidescreen Pro as my homescreen.
where could I download this?

What you're asking for is warez, and it's not going to happen. I'd suggest emailing the developer.

Anyone having display issues with this app? Or is it just my setup? I'm running AOKP M5 with 190dpi. The main issue is that I can flip up to go through the next pages just fine, but the moment I flip down to go back a page, it'll show the animation and the preview for that previous page, but then it'll still show the page I was on...and it basically gets stuck displaying that page (but realistically it's on the new page because if I tap on it, it'll show the new page's article). Sorry if that sounds a little confusing.
works perfect on sfhub's fe07, 240dpi. thanks!

I figured it out, it installs it on the SD card just go to Manage apps- All, then scroll till you see Flipboard press it and move to phone, i had to reinstall it before i did it

Simple fix is to reinstall it if you have not already done so. Open up titanium back up and find Flipboard. Long press and pick move to internal. The app should remain after reboot now.
I hate posting stuff late lols oh wells.

Vault is using almost a quarter of your battery, if this is the software that hides your messages then according to the play store it has permissions to do anything and everything on your phone, including keeping it awake.
If you get rid of that, you have 25% more runtime.
Regards
Phil
Install Betterbatterystats, and check your wakelocks. This will tell you what is keeping your phone awake then you can remedy the faults.
