Should work on any ICS ROM
http://www.xda-developers.com/android/ics-motoblur-launcher-on-any-phone/
Motoblur has gotten a bad rap in its earlier days as an OEM skin. Unlike early iterations of HTC Sense and TouchWiz that were bloated but still usable, MotoBlur was almost unanimously considered unusable. However, now that Motoblur has been streamlined and given far less bloat, it’s only fair that we give it another shot.
Users now have access to the newest iteration of Motoblur launchers thanks to XDA Senior Member RockoDev. Both launchers provided by the developer are for Ice Cream Sandwich phones only, and give users the Motoblur experience without actually needing to buy a Motorola device.
The launchers, based on files from the Motorola Droid RAZR, will give any phone running 4.0 and higher a chance to check out the newest Motoblur. Users simply need to download one of the two APKs and either ADB Push them to system or use their favorite root-enabled file manager to move it there manually. Reboot and voila!
For those who would rather not use ADB or a root file manager to deposit the system files, RockoDev has promised flashable zips in the near future, so simply check back every couple of days if you’d rather go that route. Of course these APKs are just launchers, and not the whole Motoblur experience, but we all know how much of an impact changing your launcher has.
Additional information, download links to both APKs, instructions, and screen shots can be found in the application thread.

It works on the sgs, tested it. Rename the file to Vending.apk and push it to the /system/app folder.

Dont like the new market. The green **** (yes.) takes half of the screen space on a 800x480 device that's just dumb. Prolly pushed by publishers in the "featured" who pay money to get there or something.
Descriptions are halved because this green stuff takes all the space. comments, same. List, same.
Hey does anyone know if its possible to get a launch like this, for our phone? or a theme for the existing known launchers?

As far as the launcher goes I'm afraid not nor is there a current theme. Its a shame but really there are some nice ICS themes out there

There are many great alternative Launchers for our phones. Zeam, ADW, Go Launcher, Launcher Pro, SPB Shell, just to name a few. All of them vary in many ways, and are very customizable to most anyones preferences. Unfortunately Sense has not been ported due mainly in part that its much like our TouchWiz launcher, i.e. its built into the rom framework wise. I agree its a gorgeous launcher and I wish HTC would make a standalone apk for any phone to use it.
Google HeLauncher.
Done.
I found it after some searching, this launcher is perfect. it has sense and espresso among others. Why was this taken out of the market?
Was a little hard to find, but this is a neat launcher, thanks Big Worm!
Is it okay to post outside links on here, so i can post where to find it?
Please tell me where to find it? Its not on the Market.

Just FYI so everyone knows, those links are for version 1.0.3. I was able to find 1.0.4 by googling h2104.apk. I believe the last version I saw in my hunt mentioned was 1.0.5. Thanks for posting links for everyone else, like I said before, it's a good launcher.

Thanks! I downloaded it and it looks cool. Gonna play with it for a while to see if its a keeper.
I recently upgraded to the Galaxy S3. I loaded on my favorite keyboard, Shapewriter, and was disappointed to see that it didn't fill the screen like it did on my other phones. Is there anyway to make it take up the whole bottom of the screen like all the other keyboards? Thanks for any help.

send a note to the developer... they might not be aware and just need to edit it for the larger screen...

It's no longer supported. I have a backup of the APK that I use to install it with. It's not even on the Play anymore as far as I know.

That's clearly not supported on 720p screen, never heard of the keyboard but if you find people that likes it a developer might be able to help

If I recall, Shapewriter was bought by Nuance and incorporated into the FlexT9 keyboard and now those features are incorporated into the latest Swype beta...
So maybe try that?
You can always lower your dpi

I downloaded the Swype Beta. It's going to take some getting used to, but overall I think it's better than the default Samsung keyboard.
I prefer shape writer over all the rest I've tested. The automatic addition of a space after a period (.),saves hitting the space bar more often than deleting the space. The ability to retroactively capitalizewith one key does not require retype. The selection of typed words with one touch, allows the original selection list to be recalled.
I can't believe they did this all two years ago. Nuance now owns shapewriter.
So I was lurking around looking for a better alternative to the stock email client on this phone. I've tried just about all of the 3rd party clients and they seem to all have something that I don't like about them.
Well, for those of you who are on the stock rooted rom, here's a great alternative. It's smooth, responsive, works well with synced folders and provides an overall better experience when managing email. Some of the other ics apps are nice too. Link below

Here's a bit of what it looks like. If you've ever used a Galaxy Nexus, that's what it is.

Does anyone else get android is upgrading message every reboot after installing one of these
Edit: I fixed this by going into /system/apps and deleting the old odex file for the app I replaced

How is the Battery drain with EE and Exchange ? I was using Touchdown for awhile and while I loved the features I couldn't stand the heavy battery drain. Is EE comparable of lighter than the stock email client ?
Much better and lighter than Touch Down. I haven't noticed any battery drain at all. The interface is so much cleaner too. As for Enhanced Email, I agree that it works well but it's still not as fluid as stock ICS.
I don't have measurable numbers, but it's based on stock with extra features and more robust. Works better with exchange than the stock version. I use it with 1 exchange account and its never near the top of the battery usage list.
There will be an update soon with an updated interface.
Alright.... I'm working on a SUPER big project with hopefully some of the rest of my dev team (kantry123, finance.resat, mon5trum and rjshrjndrn). It's gonna be an AROMA rom with three cores... one from my rom, one stock and another I need some suggestions on. Also I am going to add some super epic Glass Widgets and themes. It's hopefully gonna be nice. Anyway, this thread is for YOU to...

what about a bit of MIUI? or something more drastic like sony ericsson components?
A little bit Modified Miui Rom would be better then to much Sense roms. We have only 2-3 Miui Roms, why not more?
Sorry, it isn't, I don't have one, but after someone may change some of the installer files so that it has support for CDMA.
Noted. Good Idea, everyone likes the simpleness of MIUI (except me), but it will gain hits!
Will it be sense based? If not. I prefer Themed ICS.
