The case quality is really good, fits well & it doesn't add bulk (around 1mm thick), it feels great in hand & it ads more grip to the phone.

Think I'll order a second one (black) cos mine is the clear black case (semi transparent) & I think the full black one will make the device look better with all those black edges & corners.

I'm currently using the clear black version of this case on galaxy s2. Fits perfectly and feels very high quality in the hand. The ridged edges give a lot of grip which is good，Don't hesitate buying one!

Solid black always looks cool. The side grips look very cool.

People should be aware that the Verizon Galaxy Nexus is a different size than the UK Galaxy Nexus. The Verizon version is slightly thicker. I hope that does not interfere with the fitment of this case. I am purchasing the phone on Friday, but I am holding off on cases until I read more reviews.

I don't have the phone yet. The Verizon model is being released tomorrow, therefore, no one has been able to make a "Verizon specific" Galaxy Nexus case. I will most likely buy the cheapest case they have at Verizon and use that one until more people report back about fitment. Better to be safe than sorry.

Thought it was delayed? Unfortunately, I think its going to be awhile before we get more accounts of what accessories fit our Verizon model, IF it ever gets released....

I want to make sure: This case is TPU not silicone, correct?

Lol. That's why it is called a tpu. I forgot wavy tpu exactly my stands for but definitely not crappy stretchy silicone.

Let us know how that screen protector looks.
my requirement for dry apply screen protector:
-protector edge sticks to phone all the way to edge. (Most of the dry apply protectors have the last 1mm of the protector lift).
-no rainbow effects. I hate it when there is an ugly rainbow effect. totally kills teh phone.

MYBAT (generic eBay TPU) case

I picked this up as a quick case solution since it seems the big names rushed to market and most of the cases I wanted have quality issues. I must say I'm glad I did. This is the thinnest and cleanest TPU case I've ever had. Very little added bulk and there's no ugly flash or edges around the case. Definitely a solid case to use while the big names get their stuff straightened out.

Thanks for sharing. A point of clarification, though- when you say there is "no ugly flash", do you mean that this case has a conservative design, or do you mean that this case does not suffer from the "ugly flash" problem?
The "ugly flash" problem happens with some cases installed, where the flash bounces off the flash cutout and reflects back into the camera lens, creating awful photos when flash is used.

There is a Fosmon case on eBay for 2 bucks cheaper that looks practically identical. Translucent glossy. I have the teal and it's great.

looks interesting, how do the buttons feel?
i have the spigen neo hybrid, it's great but i was skeptical about $20 for bassically a tpu case, and it is more broad than i would like and the tpu is matte which makes it very slick. the only grip i get is on the bumper. not that i'm gonna switch but this could be better value.

It appears so. Looks weird since the LG logo isn't in the center of the phone.

i-Blason Candygel Hybrid TPU [Mini-Review]

I got the i-Blason over the weekend and when I came into the office, I had a package waiting for me. It was the case that is kinda confusing to clarify because it's mixed in with other cases on Amazon. To clarify what I wanted, I went straight to the horses mouth and ordered it directly from i-Blason for $7.99USD+shipping.

The case, which is tpu is much more malleable/softer than the Spigen Ultra Hybrid. Also the i-Blason is very tpu-ish on it's lip unlike the Spigen UH, where the Spigen is ultra stiff.
When unpackaging the Candygel tpu, I also noticed that the case "looked" smaller than the Spigen UH. And when I was about to put it on, I said to myself, this doesn't look like it's going to fit! LOL. Glad I was wrong.
The case fit like a bodyglove. LOL I mean the case lip is very flexible and forgiving. And keep in mind I have a Spigen screen protector as well so I had to make sure that didn't come up. And thankfully, it did not. :good:
I have been using it and playing with it for a while and I have to say it's a pretty good case! The buttons are there, allbeit, covered, but the buttons now have feedback, compared to the Spigen UH. The volume buttons are also fine as well.
The ONLY fault I can find thus far is that on the bottom of the case has a scuff mark that was most likely done from the molding process, which I can forgive. It doesn't hinder the use of the case, it isn't sharp or uncomfortable because of it. I can even see it, but I know it's there. And I know I'll forget about it on day to day usage. The cut outs on the speaker aren't the best, but it's tpu and again, it isn't horrible, but I can notice it lol. The mic holes are perfectly exposed and just to note, the micro sim tray are covered. The clear back is why I got it. I can sport my dbrand white CF as well, where the other options before were the Spigen UH and Ringke fusion.
For the price, I can recommend this. and plays well with the Spigen screen protector thus far. The TPU makes the phone more form fitting and seems a tad smaller in holding it in my hands.
Anyways, here are some pics...enjoy! Oh and feel free to ask any questions or if you want pics at different angle and stuff like that.

How much bulk does this case add, in terms of height and width and also the thickness of the phone? I've been looking for a slim case to use with my dbrand skin as well, and I've been eyeing this one up.

It's thinner compared to the spigen ultra hybrid if that helps. It's like a tpu case thickness. Meaning not very thick.

Does the clear back attracts fingers smudges and oil? I have a crystal Spigen ultra fit and I hate that about it.

I want to say it's actually a bit better than the Spigen UH when it comes to the fingerprint magnet. But saying that, you have to take into account that I have a WHITE cf. That makes the fingerprints invisible and barely visible. But if you hold it at an angle, I can see some, but not as bad as the Spigen UH.

I just ordered a clone on ebay that looks to be exactly the same for $6 shipped from china. I went with ebay one cause there's no branding on it!!

LOL I don't mind the branding. If it bugged me, I can use goo gone or fingernail polish remover to remove it. But please let us know how that one fares. It should be similar, they all are lol.

What about scratches ? I just got a Tech21 case for my Nexus 5 and only had a few days and I can already see scratches building up. I am going to return it tomorrow. It does have a clear back which is what I was looking for. Thanks

Well you will eventually get scrathes. I have a white backing on my phone so you cannot see them at all. But looking at it without the phone in it, yes you can see scratches.

Alcantara Cases

Any of tou guys seen any anywhere for the 10+? I had them on all of my notes, so if you spot one, please post.

Ditched them and went leather. So sad.

Not really sad. Mine got pretty beat up and gunky. True leather should hold up better, but the feel of the Alcantara was nice.

I always liked the Alcantara’s non slip properties. You can place it almost anywhere on quite an angle without slipping off. I have a habit to place it on my knee while I need to do something. To date, no mishaps. Famous last words?

I take the leather, dab it with olive oil to get it soft and darker and then beat the crap out of it. In a short time you have a nice patina and good grip. The leathers always feel slippery at first but you need to wait it out until that coating comes off. Oil helps to take it away quickly and I like the look after.

ali express or bang good (one of the chinese sites) had note 9 alcantera cases cos I bought one. They are replica obvs.

Anyone found a slim leather case or a slim case with good grip.

What about the ones on Samsung site? I'm considering one of those.

I was unimpressed no protections at the bottom and it didn't even look or feel like leather but the inside felt like suade. The outside was slippery.

I bought the blue leather case using the 50% off on Samsung site for members. Its very nice and my fav even over 3 spigen cases I bought.
