Please help, I installed ROM - Jellybean JRN84D 4.1: Rooted Stock Deodexed busybox - v2
When an incoming call display does not respond to me and I can not answer the phone.
I tried to phone back to factory settings, but always with me after a while the problem occurs again.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Flash other Radio Baseband and use stock Kernel, if this does not work then flash back ICS.
Edit: Did you wiped cache and dalvik cache when you flashed JB?
Yes, I did wipe Dalvik cache and cache and still the problem appeared again.

The question is not if Dalvik and cache was wiped but if you did a full wipe when flashing jb rom?

Yes, I have used before installing I superwipe.
same problem
Mine started doing the same thing after no problems for few days. Did wipe and all that. I'm thinking it might be app related. The ones I installed right before I noticed this are
Automateit pro
Lux
Set CPU

Hi there everyone
have a weird issue... tried searching and nothing
ok, so i installed the first ROM of bigxie . everything went fine and nothing went wrong in any ways...
i then tried to install v2 of the ROM that came out a couple days later... and it wouldnt boot past the google writing screen... no matter what i do it wont boot into android... i have dont the wipe data, cache, dalvik etc... this isnt my first rodeo lol
i have tried flashing other jelly bean ROMs an nothing... i can restore to my previous ICS perfectly fine but nothing will load JB...
i have tried to restore with Odin but now in bootloader windows wont detect the phone at all... i have kies installed and have separately installed the drivers, nothing is making Odin see the devices, so i cant even use odin to restore to a factory image...
i have the latest bootloader installed and have the latest touch CWM installed as well... currently running the latest kernel from franco and using aokp 40
this is not making any sense to me and i need help to get my device back to JB, as ICS i cant stand anymore LOL
thanks for you help in advance!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1626895
thank you for the link that helped me get the drivers working properly again.
my issue is i cannot load any JB roms at all, via CWM or otherwise... however i can still load ICS roms without issues...
and i still cant get odin to see my device at all, yet galaxy nexus toolkit works fine! ugh... lol i cannot load any OEM images at all... even the nexus toolkit doesnt want to load a OEM image to the device....
thanks again!

I have the same problem ics rom work perfectly but jb roms get stuck in the Google screen or the X screen and I tried leaving it alone for a while but it drains the battery and turns off
@ c_86 and kingviper10: not sure what you guys are trying to do, but instructions on how to flash stock images are in the first post of the thread I linked to, and instructions for JB are in the second post. Not sure why you are talking about Odin or toolkits...

Are you sure you have cwm5.5.0.4 installed? NOT the touch version?

I'm pretty sure he did say that he was on the touch version of CWR .
@efrant
i am talking about toolkits and odin because i cannot flash a jelly beam rom, OEM or otherwise via CWM at all... thats the issue...
to the other, i have i think 5.8.0.2 touch ClockworkMod Recovery
ugh this is so frustrating... lol i dont understand what is going on....

Wipe dalvik
Flash rom
Flash fix
Flash radio

What is "the fix" you are talking about?
And use this recovery, not the one you are using. (The touch one is not entirely stable, even koush said so, so I have no idea why people insist on using it...)
Did you fix permissions after flashing the ROM and fix?
Try factory reset, wipe cache, dalvik cache, wipe system, then install ROM and fix, then fix permissions, then reboot.

Thanks I'll try that recovery and see if that works. I'll report back later.
As for fixing permissions. Yes I've tried that as well. No luck either.

This makes more sense. And yeah, try the recovery image efrant kindly linked you to, i didnt have any issues with twrp 2.1.2 either, if i may.
sent from my i9250
ooook... no go on that recovery image either...
i flashed the 5.5.0.2 recovery and same issue... will not boot past the google writing screen... i really dont know what else to do...
anyone?!
Not sure what's going on but whenever I install these I'm getting low internal storage warnings. I wipe system, data, cache, dalvik 3x on TWRP. Any Ideas? It's only happening on these 2 roms for some reason.

I ended up fixing it. For some reason just on these roms and the new TWRP i have to wipe factory data right after installing and everything works perfectly
Glad you got it fixed was having the same issue because I didn't listen with one of the steps (go figure) but after a reflash and following that works awesome now.
im still getting wifi connected notice after updated to 6.2...anyone else having this issue

Did you factory reset, wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvic cache at least 3x each before flashing? I have not had a problem with any of seans roms watsoever......maybe make sure u have the recent recovery?

I just started from a fresh , wiped 3x all 3 ..and started with base 6.0 then update 6.1 then update 6.2........
no mods or anything, not even an account added...
i still get the connected to wi-fi network coming up..
its no biggie but just curious as to what i may be doing wrong as i have had no probs myself with skynote till this..
the battery charged has stopped coming up so that sure worked..
*Thx for all replies...going to look into it again when i get home.....would wiping internal storage do anything to help..i have been on 4.2 and back on 4.1 *

I would re download ROM and mods again. I'm now on 6.2 and no wifi notification notice.
Or it may be a modification causing it. I'm using 75% transparency, blue theme, and circle blue battery.

Maybe if you're doing a tibu restore there is something being restored from a previous backup.
Currently I'm running 6.2 (flashed 6 base then when .2 came out I only wiped caches and flashed)
Mods: new green circle battery, light saber s pen sounds.
Check the mods you have on your sd card maybe one of them are dated prior to the files that are on Sean's goo.im the naming could be throwing you off because I know that some of the mods are labeled as V3 but have been updated more than 2-3 times without actually changing the version number.

Update.......ok, i have cleaned my internal storage( as all my needed stuff on external)....i redownloaded 6.0 and update 6.2...
i wiped cache and system 3 times each, and installed base 6.0 with 6.2 update in same procedure.....
no other mods and none of my original apps restored..i have a basic system with just skynote 6.0 and 6.2 update on....but sadly still get the wifi connected message coming up ...
i must be doing something wrong..but what..lol..
any ideas??
Is it possible to get the AOSP 4.2 messaging / MMS with skynote ROM? They currently have a flash for AOSP version but it's missing the group messaging that is in the latest 4.2 version. This would eliminate the requirement for a third party app to use group messaging.

Hey all, so I flashed the chemistry ROM and Goodness 8.0.3, which both have multi window. After I try to power on my phone after a full shut down, neither ROM seems to boot without me going into recovery and clearing both cache. Anyone else experience this or have a workaround?

I just had the same issue I installed chemistry on my phone worked with no problems but on my moms phone i went into a bootloop after rebooting. I had to go into recovery do a factory reset wipe cache and dalvik cache and reflash the Rom all seems to be working now. Oh it was chemistry v5 btw.
Edit
Did you retore any system data with TB then hit fix permissions thats what was causing the problem for me.

I did install non-system apps thru TB and installed latest Ktoonz kernel. Just not sure why either would result in a boot loop now.

Try flashing a different kernel, and try fixing permissions through rom manager, then reboot wipe cache and dalvik, make it run the optimizing apps thing.

I tried to flash the S.E.A.L rom and black hawk kernel. I ended up getting a flickering color screen that's blurry and a shaky screen. Did I do something wrong this time or is the V4 rom still buggy?? Please help me thanks

Thank you very much brother! Wiping my tab and installing each zip individually worked! Did a full wipe and delvik wipe than install the sealV4 zip. Than did both cache wipes, and installed the kernel and worked like a charm. You rock!
