Issue after rooting CDMA version - HTC One V

Went on HTCdev and unlocked the bootloader for the CDMA Virgin Mobile One V. Rooted it on my MAC.
Everything is fine until I turn it off. If I turn it back on, it gets stuck on the HTC white screen(which also says something to the effect of this is an HTC dev blah blah blah). Anyway, the only way to reboot is to flash the superboot image again. Anyone know the reason for this?

Help - Desire stuck on boot

Has anyone ever seen this? Got this phone cheap and would like to fix it.
Can't get into bootloader, just goes to this screen and keeps rebooting ever so often.
Cheers for any help
Ok an update, it seems the volume- button is broken but back key + power worked and I got into the boot menu. Here's a pic.
Where should I go from here?
Is there a way of knowing if the phone is branded and what brand or unlocked so I can try flashing a WWE RUU?
Ok so the phone is branded T Mobile since a Tmob RUU worked just fine but with WWE ROMs I get a CID mismatch.
Made a goldcard with 2 sd cards but it doesn't work since I get a CID error mismatch again.
I should mention that after a T Mobile RUU flash that phone was still getting stuck on that same screen in post 1.
I've tried several things but still no luck with getting anywhere.
Thoughts?
EDIT: Made a successful goldcard using a different method and was able to flash the latest WWE RUU but the phone is still stuck on boot, the difference is that now it's the white screen with HTC in the middle.
So the phone doesn't even get into boot.
Can somebody help me with this??
Ruu really should Fix it. If it doesn't, first port of call should be warranty. Does ruu give no error?

As I've mentioned, I got this phone for cheap so no warranty.
Nope, no errors with goldcard. Also I should mention I can't get into recovery, it just goes back into boot loop.
I suspect some partition somewhere must be corrupted.
If the phone had S-OFF it would make things so much easier.
Ok so an update, for anyone who runs into this problem.
After trying basically everything (even trying to unlock bootloader with a HTC Unlocker device with no success, probably due to action key not working) I was going to go and try to unlock the official way.
To unlock the official way I had to update the ROM so I just used the latest update which is 2.3.3 and after flashing I was finally able to boot!! So it seems like the problem was not hardware related at all.
Next I used Revolutionary to S-OFF, flashed CWM Touch and used root.zip for root access. Now I'm happy I got it all going and it's time for a sandwich, the ice cream variant
Peace!

[Q] HTC Wildfire S (Under Virgin Mobile)

Just wondering if anyone has "Successfully" rooted HTC Wildfire S (Virgin Mobile).
I cannot even get HTC Sync to work, only shows "Device not connected" message.
What is "S-Off" & "S-On" sounds like something from the old Karate Kid movie, wax on, wax off. Please explain don't just paste that up there. I have tried all those tools but nothing seems to touch this phone under Virgin Mobile. It's even hard to get the PC to acknowledge the phone when connected via USB. I see other post on this phone but not working on HTC Wildfire S (Virgin Mobile) folks!
Also seen other post that they have rooted this phone, well "How?" please post that!

S-OFF: The ability to flash ROMs, Radios, HBOOT, misc partition, custom splash screens, and Recoveries.
S-ON: The ability to do none of the above cool stuff with your phone.
Unlocked Bootloader: The ability to flash ONLY customs ROMs and Recoveries
To root, unlock your bootloader or S-OFF (see section about achieving S-OFF). Next flash a bootloader (several can be found around these fora.) Finally, get SuperOneClick or a like tool like. Follow the section about rooting in my tutorial.

[Q] HTC Wildfire S not booting beyond FTC screen.

I have HTC Wildfire S (Telstra NextG Network). I have unlocked bootloader 2 days back and also rooted the phone. After rooting I accidentally uninstalled some of HTC core components with uninstall feature. Now the problem is it shows only HTC screen (green HTC logo) and nothing happens. Its not even showing "Testra NextG network screen" it was showing before this problem.
I have very limited knowledge on how to make my phone functional again. I don't know what is the procedure to get back the "Telstara Next G" package again. I am totally clueless on what to do next. PLEASE HELP ME. :crying:

Unfortunately I didn't make backup in recovery before rooting. I would really be grateful if guided step by step on how to get my phone functional again.
Solved at last.
Finally got help from following thread, so thought I should mention it -

[Q] HTC One ADB issues. Tried everything I know...

Hey all, long time lurker of the forum but finally at my wits end with the issues; hoped I could ask for some directions.
I have the HTC One in the UK as an EE variant. I've unlocked and rooted my phone and wanted to s-off the phone.
However, I have put android revolution 41.0 on the phone with hboot 1.55 and cant get it working.
I have tried using adb and it only seems to work when I am in the bootloader. As soon as I turn the phone on, leaving it on the homescreen after removing the lock screen, turning off fastboot on the phone and turning on usb debugging adb can't find my device and I can't get past Rumrunner as it gets an error saying " run rumrunner again and READ (no adb connection to device. Debugging on? Drivers?"
I have checked the drivers are installed, ran htc sync to install them and then uninstalled it. Debugging obviously on but the adb seems to be the issue.
I had read I should return to a stock Rom and try again but simple can't find the right one. I use 4g usually but now stuck with US Rom which doesn't let me connect to lte or 4g.
If someone could advise me on which Rom (preferably 4g UK rom) I should use I'd be grateful.
Try the HTC one forum...this is for Verizon.

[Q] Help! Can't flash to recovery...

So here's the deal. I have the T-MOB010 HTC one M8. I want to flash it to recovery so I can trade it in for a new phone at T Mobile (Either the Nexus 6 or the One M9.) I have S On, an unlocked boot loader and the tampered flag on the splash screen on startup. I am currently on Skydragon's latest One M8 Rom. I need to be able to get back to factory, remove the tampered warning on startup of the device, and if at all possible lock the boot loader and get the boot loader to show that it hasn't been tampered, unlocked, relocked, etc. If that's possible then that's great. I don't see them going into the boot loader at the T mobile store though. In any case, I've run the RUU and it always encounters an error and will not let me flash back to recoVery. I've also tried using some TWRP files to flash back and it will not let me. It won't let me run them from the restore option in the area where I go to flash a Rom. Now that all these new phones are out, I really want to upgrade but if I can't flash this back, that won't be happening. Any suggestions? I really need the help.
I'm assuming you mean, flash to STOCK. If so, you have to relock the bootloader FIRST then you can run the HTC RUU for T-Mobile and that will bring the phone back to Factory Stock. However, I have yet to see a case where a T-Mobile worker ever checks the phone, I have turned in two and my brother has turn in two also with custom ROM and recoveries... all they care about is that you turn in a phone period.
