Hi all,
Currently Defy ICS/CM9 is still working on the HWA. However, it seems that Lenovo A1 tablet, which is using OMAP 3622(?) has official Android 4.0 update. Is it possible that we can extract related files from Lenovo ROM and port it to CM9 to solve HWA?

Hey guys, Quarx made history today!
HERE WE HAVE! THE 1ST BUILD WITH FULL HWA SUPPORT! (Update: For Defy+, I've forgotten that detail. In a few moments, Epsylon should be releasing it for Defy!)
Released a few minutes ago! Check out his website in the ICS topic, and scroll down to the latest build!
I'm installing it now, see you all in the "new life!"
Thank you Quarx! YOU SIR, MADE MY DAY!

Since yesterday i'm awake so.... I'm a bit crazy here! hahahahaha
A few minutes ago i've seen the Epsylon build, but the first I saw was the Quarx, but anyway, made my day. The system changed a lot, things are running smootly as f*ck. Now, the last problem is HWA Decode that makes games and HD movies a bit hard to play because the low framerate.
I miss my Defy+ so badly now...
Just hope that I'll get it back and share the experience..
Since this thread discusses a matter that is now redundant, it's now closed.

I wish we would have spent atleast one weekend in the last month to set some rules for posting stuff around here. I mean I wish everyone's post was titled like this one so we could figure out what they we're talking about. We should make a bulletin at the top of the forum page about it so everyone would see it and read it. Man wouldn't that be neat???????

When cm9 becomes stable everyone will use that rom and not this one, I'm not being disrespectful I appreciate you wanting to make a rom and help the community but I don't think the people will appreciate it. Everyone is focused on ics right now. As a post on the first page clearly states what I mean, ics wont be out for a while so hey...why not? Don't waste your time. But that's just my opinion.

Hey guys kssood is looking if there is interest for the rom. If you don't want it don't comment.
So kssood if it's not too much of a bother please make it, there are people here that are excited and would very much like a miui rom, doesen't matter if it's gb or ics.
MIUI V4 is never going to be stable enough to be run on our phone. We'd always have to overclock and it will still have graphical glitches. Would never use it as a daily ROM. I'm very much in, for the idea of MIUI Gingerbread. It might be perfect for the wildfire s, given its specs

Haha, it could be your and most of the people wish, but once camera get matured in ICS , there will be no need of GB as I think.
Because currently in GB there are a lot of issues, like app update, battery drain, not full theme support, but MIUIv4 doesn't have these kind of bugs. only camera is lacking.

I have already asked acro68 to help me to build CM7 from sources. But first thing is that Its not that easy, secondly arco68 is too busy and the help and effort required for CM7 can not communicated on PM or Emails. It requires a lot of time, effort and proper guidance which currently I dont have.
I would appreciate that If anyone take initiative and build CM7.

CM9 is the is the freedom of the slaves, we can't have an official build never! but....it doesn't matter the developers are doing a nice job, in every nightly i have been testing i can see and feel how cm9 is going to be more stable, yeah the scroll isn't very smooth in some apps but... if you want be "FAST" go to stock rom or keep with CM7 and don't be annoying!
i can play gta3, nova3, n64, psx and more on cm9
I don't see any rationale in this thread. If people are happy with partial HWA in CM9 (ICS in fact) just be so, If you ain't happy just ignore it..
I'd request mods to close the thread..
