hi firstly i bought this chargrr r
ebay.com.sg/itm/260922341954?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
its a geniune charger for the batteries of the note and it works on my original battery and 2 batteries i bought made in china with no brand for the note.
next i buy the 2700mah anker batts with the unicersal charger.
amazon.com/Batteries-SGH-I717-International-Anker-Multi-purpose/dp/B007JSSNHI/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top/191-7690781-5534019
the problem is the geniune charger cannot charge the anker batteries even though when i place them inside the charger it lights up to show its charging but after 5 hours of charging when i put the anker battery inside my note it shows 60% which means it didn't charge. the universal charger charges the anker batts fine since it came with them.
my geniune charger works cos it charges up the original battery. pls help.8
I have two Samsung vehicle chargers, both have failed, one the micro-usb does not work with my note, but is fine with the portable batter charger.
The other simply does not receive any current from the vehicle, even after a careful cleaning and spray with contact cleaner.
Never had these issues with any other vehicle charger.
Mine isn't the vehicle charger it's the geniune charger from samsung.
Do i need to list out the stats?
your samsung oem charger is designed to only charge the samsung battery.
But, there is a mod to the charger that you can do to fix this. Its a very simple solder.
I trying to find where I read this then I will post the link
here is the link and it will explain
or not (first post)
ok google this
diy galaxy note charger
it will be the one that says. "How to fast charge your galaxy note"
an xda dev figured this out

Actually this isn't what i was looking for.
If you read my original post again i'm talking about the genuine charger not being able to charge 3rd party anker batteries. What you're showing here is using a 3rd party charger on my phone which isn't what i'm looking for.
I want the charger aka battery charger to be able to charge anker batteries. It has nothing to do with the phone itself. My phone charges the batts fine.

Hello,
I had both these items with my old i9000 which I included when I sold it.
Looking to get a fitted air vent holder for my dashboard, as well as a car charger.
Based on past experience with the i9000, the car charger needs to be a 2A charger so I can charge the phone faster, as well as have it keep charging with the screen on for navigation. (and yes, I am aware a higher amperage could potentially wear the battery, happy to take the risk )
I got the original 2A charger from dealsextreme, but I can only see weaker/crappier chargers for sale on there at the moment. A brief search of ebay hasnt shown any moulded/fitted holders yet.
Ideas?
The official Samsung car charger CAD300Ube is at 0.7amps. I've seen aftermarket chargers at 1a but I havent seen any at 2 amps
I just picked up the Rockfish premium charger that is 2A. Haven't true it yet though.

I got a dual-port car charger from dealextreme and plugged a USB cable into the "ipad" port. It charges my SGS2 well and I do not notice any battery drain while I'm on a road trip using the SGS2 as GPS navigator. Well worth the $2 I paid for it.
I used one of these on my i9000 and will be getting one for my i9001
You can see the vent part you need to the right of the holder

I bought a supposed 2 amp charger from deal extreme a while back. It wasn't 2amp. If you get one, test it to see what it actually puts through. The one I got was only .5 amp even though it was advertised as 2 amp.
How to check amp output? I have a 1A charger which can't charge my phone while navigating. Might buy another charger but first want to check if it isn't limited by the phone itself.

When I did it, it was on a Touch HD. I ran a couple of different battery monitor programs to see what it was pulling in. I found that almost every car charger (about 8 or 9 ) I tried was only 0.5 amp...some claimed 1amp some claimed 2amp, most claimed 0.5.
Hello,
Anker said that their "universal" charger doesn't work with the S3.
not sure why, but they said something like other batteries charge at 3.7 while the S3 charges at 3.8.
Anyway is there any other recommendation to charge batteries on their own ? ( i will be buying original samsung batteries, i used Anker batteries on the S2 so i have their charger ).
Does anyone know of a decent (1Amp) charger for a spare stock/extended battery that is actually working well? I've used the ebay cheapos and one from Hyperion[http://amzn.com/B00851MEB4] but they are either take forever to charge(0.5A or less output current) or falsely claim the battery is full whereas the phone says otherwise?
I presume the Samsung charging system will be a good fit, but i'm not sure if it will take extended battery.
bump? anyone know of any 1A chargers for a spare battery?
I bought the OEM battery kit. It comes with a spare battery and a charger along with a built in dock. The dock doesn't charge your phone only the battery . It's about $35 . Not bad for an OEM battery and charger .

I use NewTrent 6600 mAh that has 2 USB outputs one at 1A and one at 2.1A. It also gets charged with a MicroUSB cable, so one cable for charging and providing power, very nice.

So you charge using the 1 amp or 2.1amp?
I'm actually using for wall charger type of device where you just insert the spare battery. Something like this: http://amzn.com/B008I449AC

I have used a charger that looked almost identical to that one for my Evo 4G extended batteries before I upgraded to the Galaxy S III. It worked well so I would expect this one to work for the GSIII batteries.
I ended up ordering this one to use with my GSIII batteries. It arrives today.
Hey let us know if this one charges to 100%

It looks like the answer is: No!
I charged my battery (Stock Samsung battery) overnight. This morning the charger was indicating that the charging was complete. When I swapped out the batteries the phone is reporting 93% (4110mV). I am going to try again tonight with my other battery (also stock).
Samsung makes an official spare battery charger/dock that comes with a spare battery. You can find it on amazon for around $35.
I got Momax U. Pack Charger Pack ( Charge + X-LEVEL PDA Battery ) from NCIX.COM....is better then the samsung one.
Hi guys can't find an exact answer in search, I have a galaxy s3 i9305 but I'm assuming that part doesn't matter, just got the genuine samsung 3000mah battery and its taking 8 hours to charge on both stock rom and sentinel rom, using a non samsung cable and a 10v iphone mains plug with genuine samsung dock I'm getting 300ma using the App Store app to monitor, if I remove dock it goes to 500ma which is weird and I want to keep dock, if I use genuine samsung cable i ordered online as I don't have the original it charges at just 100ma so anyone a clue whats going on and what do I need to get the full 1000ma and charge in like 4 - 5 hours? I expected more charge time with the bigger battery but not double, please help.
Thanks
Tony
Not one person got the extended battery from Samsung and having slow charging? Just tried another cable and got 900ma without dock and 300 with so why's it so low with dock?
Recently, my sgn n7000 charger(1yr old) got damaged.

http://www.ebay.in/itm/Buy-Online-S...?pt=IN_Mobile_Accessories&hash=item3384a4ebb8

The charger looks like an indian version of the one my daughter received with her galaxy s4. White is the colour of her phone and the colour of her charger, it also was 5v at 2A. To my knowledge the charging of the battery within the phone is controlled by the phone and as long as it is supplied with its minimum requirement of 5v. it will charge at whatever current it can within the control of the power management in the phone.
Hope this helps ? I did look at the samsung website in india and they had power units for sale. I dont know where you are ?
Samsung India has 700ma chargers listed..
And do u charge ur note with that one..? Us thr any problem.?
charger
No mine is a 5v 1A samsung charger. I also have an incar charger which is a standard usb charger for any make of phone and that supplies 5v at 1A. I also have a Yiboyaun unit from china which charges just the battery, I have 3 additional batteries I use and charge with this unit from china. I have had this setup for more than a year with no problems.
You can charge N700x with the Note 2 charger (which puts out max 2A). It charges slightly faster than the original Sammy 1A charger/cable. It's perfectly safe because the phone will not take in more current than it's configured.

If it charges faster than 1A its not limiting the input. The note 1 battery is made for 1A chargers. Using 2A will limit the life span of the battery.
