Hello,
Anker said that their "universal" charger doesn't work with the S3.
not sure why, but they said something like other batteries charge at 3.7 while the S3 charges at 3.8.
Anyway is there any other recommendation to charge batteries on their own ? ( i will be buying original samsung batteries, i used Anker batteries on the S2 so i have their charger ).

Hey guys, I do not know a whole lot about batteries, was just wondering I bought 2 2000 mah cheap batteries that came with a cheap wall charger for charging. I was wondering (I do not think it will) but if I put the 1750 mah factory battery to charge I assume I would do no damage to the battery. Thanks Guys.
If they did their job right, you should be fine. The difference should only be in capacity of the batterys. I wouldnt use any not oem stuff though.
hi firstly i bought this chargrr r
ebay.com.sg/itm/260922341954?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
its a geniune charger for the batteries of the note and it works on my original battery and 2 batteries i bought made in china with no brand for the note.
next i buy the 2700mah anker batts with the unicersal charger.
amazon.com/Batteries-SGH-I717-International-Anker-Multi-purpose/dp/B007JSSNHI/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top/191-7690781-5534019
the problem is the geniune charger cannot charge the anker batteries even though when i place them inside the charger it lights up to show its charging but after 5 hours of charging when i put the anker battery inside my note it shows 60% which means it didn't charge. the universal charger charges the anker batts fine since it came with them.
my geniune charger works cos it charges up the original battery. pls help.8
I have two Samsung vehicle chargers, both have failed, one the micro-usb does not work with my note, but is fine with the portable batter charger.
The other simply does not receive any current from the vehicle, even after a careful cleaning and spray with contact cleaner.
Never had these issues with any other vehicle charger.
Mine isn't the vehicle charger it's the geniune charger from samsung.
Do i need to list out the stats?
your samsung oem charger is designed to only charge the samsung battery.
But, there is a mod to the charger that you can do to fix this. Its a very simple solder.

Actually this isn't what i was looking for.
If you read my original post again i'm talking about the genuine charger not being able to charge 3rd party anker batteries. What you're showing here is using a 3rd party charger on my phone which isn't what i'm looking for.
I want the charger aka battery charger to be able to charge anker batteries. It has nothing to do with the phone itself. My phone charges the batts fine.
HI i got one of these portable usb battery chargers:
http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/569850928/Universal_Mars_3000mAh_Mobile_Charger_Portable.html
got from a shop here in Hong Kong, but its the same model.
just wanted to check what experience people have with these? I know that with one of these usb batteries you are not going to get a 1:1 charge ratio from the battery to the phone. but this is rated at 3000mah, and the S3 battery is 2100mah, and it only seems to be able to charge my phone to about 75%. (the S3 does stay on while charging, but not doing much)
It should charge the S3 fully at least once right?
That looks nice sure would like to buy that too
please let me know if you find it
i tried that one and it was okay but i prefer 'innergie' chargers. very slim and sleek.
the charging rate is too slow, it may not even charge the s3, you may need something like 5V at least 800mAh
I have this one.

Does anyone know of a decent (1Amp) charger for a spare stock/extended battery that is actually working well? I've used the ebay cheapos and one from Hyperion[http://amzn.com/B00851MEB4] but they are either take forever to charge(0.5A or less output current) or falsely claim the battery is full whereas the phone says otherwise?
I presume the Samsung charging system will be a good fit, but i'm not sure if it will take extended battery.
bump? anyone know of any 1A chargers for a spare battery?
I bought the OEM battery kit. It comes with a spare battery and a charger along with a built in dock. The dock doesn't charge your phone only the battery . It's about $35 . Not bad for an OEM battery and charger .

I use NewTrent 6600 mAh that has 2 USB outputs one at 1A and one at 2.1A. It also gets charged with a MicroUSB cable, so one cable for charging and providing power, very nice.

So you charge using the 1 amp or 2.1amp?
I'm actually using for wall charger type of device where you just insert the spare battery. Something like this: http://amzn.com/B008I449AC

I have used a charger that looked almost identical to that one for my Evo 4G extended batteries before I upgraded to the Galaxy S III. It worked well so I would expect this one to work for the GSIII batteries.
I ended up ordering this one to use with my GSIII batteries. It arrives today.
Hey let us know if this one charges to 100%

It looks like the answer is: No!
I charged my battery (Stock Samsung battery) overnight. This morning the charger was indicating that the charging was complete. When I swapped out the batteries the phone is reporting 93% (4110mV). I am going to try again tonight with my other battery (also stock).
Samsung makes an official spare battery charger/dock that comes with a spare battery. You can find it on amazon for around $35.
I got Momax U. Pack Charger Pack ( Charge + X-LEVEL PDA Battery ) from NCIX.COM....is better then the samsung one.
Hi !
Yesterday i've bought Anker 7200 mah for Samsung Galaxy S3. I'm really happy with it. After the first battery charging i've realised i need one good and secure wall charger. I've tried to charge it with friend of mine stock S3 charger (1A) but its kind of pain. It tooks about 7hours 30min to charge it from 0 -100%. So i need one good wall charger. I was thinking to buy stock S3 or S4 charger because the kernel gives me the option to choose charging current. But the stock charger costs a lot - about 10-15 GBP. Then i was thinking to buy Family Sized Anker 40W , 5-port charger which have PowerIQ technology and automatically identify each connected device and gives it the fastest charging current. The maximum for one port it 2,4A. It cost 20 GBP now. (there is some kind of discount). I won't use 5 of the ports because it will be personal. But it is almost the price of the stock one.....
Can you give me some good ideas for good chargers?
Yours,
Ignatov

How about a universal charger? Maybe this would help you.
