Hi.
I have a rooted xperia play with o2.
I would like to get rid of the o2 logo that is displayed on startup and shutdown.
Does anyone know if there is a way of doing this without flashing it?
Was wondering if the logo might be stored as a jpg/png somewhere that I could just overwrite with something else?

Rooted HTC EVO 4G
I loaded JB on my VZW GN and it crashed. It got stuck in a bootloop. I tried everything and couldn't get it to boot up. I tried Odin and selected the wrong file, now the download page doesn't come up, there are 3 icons (a pda symbol, a yellow triagle and a monitor. I can't get it to boot to CWR and anything else but that 3 icon screen. I think I've bricked my phone.
Can anyone help? OR should I call VZW customer service in the morning and say my phone crashed and it won't boot up?
Thanks
Maybe this? =\

So if you replace some of the fonts with fontinstaller the GNex goes into a bootloop, was wondering if anyone knew which fonts were safe to replace?
Hey there, LGOG buddies.
I have a question that leaves me puzzled. I hope you could help me figure out its answer and thus solve my doubt.
My partner has a LGOG from a Chilean operator ("Claro Chile"). It came with the operator splash screen and boot animation (which I hated, by the way) so I downloaded the original animations, located where the operator's was placed and replaced it (it's directory was in Cust->system/cust ---> poweron).
For about 2 months the animation did not give any problem, but since 2 weeks more or less the device has been gettting stuck after the LG splashcreen and right before starting the boot animation. It does not happen always, though; sometimes he reboots his device and it boots normally. Other times, my partner has to turn his device off and on several times before the boot animation appears and the device boots normally.
My question is: what could be the cause of this issue? Could it be problems in the boot animation or how the device boots it's services?
I hope you could help me. Any idea is welcomed.
Thanks in advance.
Hi there, i recently bought a Nokia Lumia 1020, i changed the ROM to an open Microsoft Rom, but the operator logo still showing in the turn on booting.
Is there a way to remove it? or stay there forever
I appreciate your comments
greetings
Friend, try this method, its easy BUT U deserve to get a ROM without a logo. Install on your phone. I tried here and its works, good look!
You can remove the operator logo, called a boot logo or a splash screen , that appears while an Android device is booting.
