[Q] LGOG sometimes stuck on bootani, some others not - LG Optimus G (International)

Hey there, LGOG buddies.
I have a question that leaves me puzzled. I hope you could help me figure out its answer and thus solve my doubt.
My partner has a LGOG from a Chilean operator ("Claro Chile"). It came with the operator splash screen and boot animation (which I hated, by the way) so I downloaded the original animations, located where the operator's was placed and replaced it (it's directory was in Cust->system/cust ---> poweron).
For about 2 months the animation did not give any problem, but since 2 weeks more or less the device has been gettting stuck after the LG splashcreen and right before starting the boot animation. It does not happen always, though; sometimes he reboots his device and it boots normally. Other times, my partner has to turn his device off and on several times before the boot animation appears and the device boots normally.
My question is: what could be the cause of this issue? Could it be problems in the boot animation or how the device boots it's services?
I hope you could help me. Any idea is welcomed.
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Long boot times

Ever since the Froyo update it seems boot times are longer. My phone sits on the splash screen for a while then sits on the boot animation for a while too. It's been like this across stock, unrooted systems as well as various ROMs/kernels. Is there anyway to speed up boot or is this a universal issue?

Help! GN restarted itself and now stuck in boot loop

Hi guys,
I'm hoping someone can offer some advice.
I'm running a non-rooted, GSM, stock 4.0.1 Galaxy nexus. My phone restarted on its own and is now stuck in an infinite boot loop. I did several battery pulls to turn the phone off. Turning it on again, it gets stuck in the boot loop never reaching the homescreen.
Any ideas?
thanks in advance
Well you could grab an Odin flash file and reset your phone from download mode. When powering on the fone hold volume down and power.
Also could hold both volume buttons and power when turning on to go into fast boot mode where you could try flashing a stock image through fastboot from your pc
Android - making grown men pee sitting down since 2.0
How do I even get the files on the phone?

Get into a bootloader and factory reset your phone.
It was happening to my gn everytime I put it in my pocket. Why I don't know. I put my gn in perfectly working condition in my pocket and when I pulled it out wanting to, say, take a picture, it was looping.
Been to the store, called tech supp... nobody knows why.
That all stopped after I unlocked, rooted and flashed a custom rom. Not one crash ever since (10 days)
Thanks man. I just brought it back to the store and they replaced it.
anybody knows how to back up my pictures/movies. I got also the boot loop issue and I first want to secure my files before resetting... My GN is not rooted or modded whatsoever.

I', afraid it's not possible without root and CWM.

[Q] Galaxy Nexus crashing during boot

First post here - I promise I searched for similar problems and didn't find anything exactly like this....
I am running an unlocked version of 4.0.2 - it is the version that updated the day I bought it. The phone was unlocked the day I got it, which was also the day it came out in the US. The Nexus is LTE/CDMA version
Little history first: The phone has been more or less fine from day one, though there had been an occasional unexplained restart. Normally when it randomly does this, it just restarts normally and everything is okay besides the brief interruption.
This morning, a few minutes after making a phone call, my phone restarted. However this time the phone got stuck in a boot loop which involves a brief freeze while the colored flying checkerboard video is playing. No matter how many times I let it loop through this it never progresses past this video.
To try and fix this I tried to fastboot the clockword recovery image and it just caused it to crash earlier in the boot sequence, ie, when the the google screen is up.
My feeling is this might be a hardware issue - the problem is of course that my phone is unlocked which kills the warranty.
Anybody have any ideas on what to do or a better explanation of what is wrong?
Many thanks for any help.
You can flash the stock images in fastboot. They are located here: http://code.google.com/android/nexus/images.html
If you just want to re-lock your bootloader and warranty the phone just type
Code:
fastboot oem lock
perfect, thanks. phone is now re-locked
thanks again

[Q] automatic and continuous reboot

First off: I have an AT&T HTC one X
I am an almost total noob when it comes to this stuff so please bear with me here.
I had my roommate put cyanogenmod onto my phone when I got it and all was well until I moved to Asia and got an unlock code from AT&T to be able to use it over here. The unlock code wouldn't work and I found some stuff online saying that it might be a problem with cyanogenmod. I followed a youtube instruction guide on how to get rid of the mod and everything was going fine until right at the end when I got a windows notification that the RUU had stopped working. I figured I would just do it again, but the actual program itself said it was successful. As I waited for it to reboot and load the roms, it started a loop. The loop is the white screen with the green htc letters for a few seconds and then it goes to a black screen with a phone logo in the middle. Around the phone logo is what looks like a recycling symbol except circular instead of triangular and on the screen portion of the phone logo there is an arrow facing down. I assume this is just telling me I need to actually download some software on the phone, but it won't connect via USB and every time it starts up it says that the drivers were not successfully installed and htc sync manager doesn't recognize that a device is even connected. The loop continued and i tried to boot it back into the fastloader which did nothing. I held down the buttons as if to boot it into fastloader, but this time for about 15 seconds which took me to a battery charging screen and finally ended the loop. I assume(hope) that since it's actually responding to input from the buttons that it's not irreversibly bricked. Is there any way I can get some version of android back on this thing? Any help would be much appreciated
Wrong forum buddy, you belong in the HTC ONE XL forum. Don't use anything from here because you risk a serious brick !

My Galaxy S3 Issues (Basically stuck on boot loop for no reason)

As the title says my s3 took a dump on my today. Its stuck on boot loop it gets as far as the Samsung logo that glows bluish. It also can go to the part where it has the android guy and says downloading. This is weird because I was using it 10 as my gps minutes earlier totally fine. No i didnt do anything to it, its not rooted nor did i attempt too, it just happened to me while i was on groupme. Is there anything i ca n do to fix this issue in a way that doesnt involve a factory reset(i want to at least save some of my texts, notes, contacts, and pics)
