freefall12 already wrote info's about the CM9 version for LU6200 in the thread call record empty on 404 stock.
I really think we need an own thread for this.
http://bbs.fengbao.com/thread-997843-1-1.html
I downloaded and flashed it today and must say, very impressive.
But there are bugs no question, not suitable for daily usage now.
Guess if the nightly-time is over that could be a very good ROM.
Some issues i found for the short time i had it:
- Camera cant connect (closes with FC)
- Videoplayer freezes
But things i really like is the design and the languages where i can choose from.
One question, dont know if someone have a solution. Since i had to flash the engineer version of ICS to get root, is it possible to just flash the ICS and after that CM9 with root?
Yes, base on the engineer KDZ, not ICS KDZ.
In fact just need the bootloader based on engineer version.
i'm not sure what you want. but you can easily go back to official ICS using CWM recovery, without reflashing the whole kdz or the other way around. is that what you're asking for ?

jxxhwy, i'm curious about what changes you've made to the CM9 kernel? thanks for the great work!
P930 github link
device:https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_device_lge_p930
930 kernel:https://github.com/CyanogenMod/lge-kernel-iproj
based on the above compiled, modify some scripts files and kernel source file。
you just made some modifications to the kernel and no changes to the ROM? you compiled it on ubuntu 12.04 ? i'd be grateful if you elaborate!
CM9 is still not fix vibration & 3G.

No, sorry if i didn't make it clear enough... if i go back to stock ICS, on the first LG bootscreen it still shows "engineer version".
Because i had to flash the engineer version (KDZ) before i flashed the ICS in order to get root and CWM after that.
So how does it work if i come from GB 2.3 to CM9... just flash the ROM in CWM?

if you upgrade to CM9 from GB,you will need to flash engineer version's mmcblk0p7 and ICS cwm recovery first.otherwise your phone probably will not boot and recovery will not work.that's because the mmcblk0p7 part is responsible for bootstrapping. hope i made myself understood!
OMG.. I thought CM9 would never come.. A Korean guy is also porting the AOKP to LU6200 and heard it's also in quite usable state. I'm restarting my phone to make a nand backup.

Thanks for the info! Do you have any link to the AOKP version, or is it not public now?
I really like the CM9, hope soon it will be stable. Right now if i connect via USB there is no dialog appearing, asking me to choose mass storage or any other option. My USB drivers are ok, it also connects without any problem in CWM.
An older version of this CM9 (19.06.2012) didn't have this issue.

No issue with SMS so far, but i'm back to ICS now. If GPRS/DataNetwork would working, i would really use the CM9.
I have no clue about the P930 vibration issue.

Is there a recent MIUI based on GB, or are they all on ICS now?
Most recent good gb is swipers 2.3.2b1. So yes all newer builds are ICS
I rooted my EVO 4g 2 weeks ago and tried different roms since then. I liked the MIUI roms, but the ICS base MIUI roms are not stable in my phone. I looked all over the web for a stable MIUI GB rom, but no luck. I read in several thread that MIUI 2.3.23 buit by swiper is the most stable, but all the links are unavailable. There was a post on just 2nd about a miui 2.3.7 ultimate rom, but that link is also unavailable. Need help to find a stable MIUI GB rom. Please advice!!
Check my devhost in my signature. I have it in there
Here is the link for the 2.3.7 from China:

I haven't flashed it yet, but will let you know...
FWIW, the latest ICS version from MIUI.us (2.6.15) with Mason I kernel seems quite fast and stable so far...

I downloaded the MIUI 2.3.2 b1 by everything was solid except no preview on the FFC.
Now trying the dianXin OS. Its very good, but i have the following issues: some apps still in Chinese, weather widget does not recognize US cities (lol! should get e different widget), can't find a place to change APN to fix mms issue, asking me to update the OS OTA (not sure if i should do this cuz everything might be in chinese)!! I am searching for more updates about this rom. If you know something on top of your head please guide me to the right direction
Thanks a lot for your help.
You have to lower the resolution for the FFC preview

Thanks again. That took care of the FFC issue.
Using the 2.3.2 build since yesterday. Every thing is working now except mms. i can get it, but can send it. usually i have to change the mms apn to mm.myboostmobile.com, but that option is not avaiable in this. Any advice?
I did a google search for this issue and tried to look through the thread, but looks like its working for everyone!! Wonder what did i do wrong!
Not sure. I use Go SMS and that has always worked.
Does anyone know the difference between Tyzing's & lithium76's MIUI builds?
(FWIW, Tyzing's seems to run smoother on my phone.)
thanks

I tried that, but on my phone the MIUI.us version with HWA (& Mason I kernel) is more stable & smooth.
I am using the stock ROM 2.3.6 on my galaxy gio and I have no problems with it. So if I have to update my phone I would not be leaving my STABLE stock GB to a less STABLE GB. But Updating to an ICS or JB would be good. Most of the Roms Of ICS or JB I have seen are beta(in development) and Buggy with lot of things not working. Is there any Stable,Smooth and Fast ICS or JB Rom on the forum that is not Buggy and works everything on it.
Thanks.
jb isnt stable yet...

I spent the entire day yesterday trying to make Android Revolution HD work on my I317. At the end of the day, success ! and here is how:
Please do not experiment with this stuff if you're not familiar with partitions and the way things work. You do run the risk of bricking your device permanently if you don't know what you're doing. I'll write this so that developers can start porting their ROMs to the LTE variants.
The two devices are identical except for the modem (and rild files) and the GPS initialization at bootup.
1. You'll need to rewrite the updater-script in most CWM flashable ROMs to make sure.. again, MAKE SURE that you do not flash anything else except /system /data and the boot partition. Overwriting your modem partition with a modem from the N7100 phone or the bootloader partitions will blow up your phone. You've been warned ! The partition labels and numbers are identical so you won't have to change that.
2. Make sure you bundle a kernel (boot.img) from one of I317/N7105 (depending on which device you own). Obviously we're talking about TW kernels here so for example stock JB kernels or Perseus will do just fine. Do not flash boot.img kernels from the N7100 section.
3. You'll need to add and remove a bunch of userland library files from your device. I won't attach these files here but you can grab them from any I317/N7105 ROM:
Files to ADD/REPLACE (Yes, every single one counts as they're dynamically linked). The stuff in /system/bin are started by the initramfs in the kernel so add them all in as well:
Code:
./system
./system/bin
./system/bin/qcks
./system/bin/sec-ril
./system/bin/qmuxd
./system/bin/efsks
./system/bin/diag_uart_log
./system/bin/netmgrd
./system/bin/gsiff_daemon
./system/bin/ks
./system/bin/rild
./system/bin/qmiproxy
./system/bin/secstarter
./system/etc
./system/etc/gps.conf
./system/lib
./system/lib/hw
./system/lib/hw/audio.primary.smdk4x12.so
./system/lib/hw/gps.default.so
./system/lib/hw/audio_policy.smdk4x12.so
./system/lib/libril-qc-qmi-1.so
./system/lib/libnetmgr.so
./system/lib/libaudio-ril.so
./system/lib/libloc_api_v02.so
./system/lib/libril-qcril-hook-oem.so
./system/lib/libqdp.so
./system/lib/libdsutils.so
./system/lib/libqmiservices.so
./system/lib/libqmi_client_qmux.so
./system/lib/libloc_adapter.so
./system/lib/libqmi_common_so.so
./system/lib/libqdi.so
./system/lib/libqmi.so
./system/lib/libcsd-client.so
./system/lib/libloc_eng.so
./system/lib/libqmi_encdec.so
./system/lib/libqcci_legacy.so
./system/lib/libqmi_cci.so
./system/lib/libssaudio-client.so
./system/lib/libidl.so
./system/lib/libril.so
./system/lib/libqmi_csi.so
./system/lib/libdiag.so
./system/lib/libdsi_netctrl.so
./system/lib/libgps.utils.so
./system/lib/libgps.so
To remove !!! Moi importante !
Code:
./system/lib/hw/gps.exynos4.so
If you don't remove that GPS exynos4 file, HAL will load it and never the gps.default.so file so your gps won't work. Took me three friggin hours to figure out.
4. Lastly, you'll need to change build.prop so that it loads our RILD files instead of the N7100's:
Code:
replace
rild.libpath=/system/lib/libsec-ril.so
with
rild.libpath=/system/lib/libril-qc-qmi-1.so
5. ???
6. Profit.
When I get sometime, I'll try to port CM10 from the N7100 tree. Done.
im going to try this I hope it works thanks

I don't think that will be possible until we have an cm10 kernel built for our device first, can't switch in a TW kernel for their cm10 kernel without possibly bricking our phones

I'm going to port the standard CM10 that is available at github.com/cyanogenmod Once this is completed, then we can incorporate that to all AOSP based roms.
The kernels are actually pretty close to each other. (have a look at the defconf for details). What's different is the initramfs and the userland binaries/libraries. I'll have a look at it but I need to get this audio going on TW roms first.

So far I've tried:

- JellyBeer v3. something.
- PA 2.56
None of these had working bluetooth for me. Won't even turn on. Sometimes the toggle won't even move.
I've flashed and reflashed and wiped and dirty flashed and wiped again in every combination possible.
I've tried keeping my min cpu frequency high, to no effect.

Nope. Flashing the modem first, then the ROM still results in boot loop.

AWESOME. I figured it out.
Well someone else did, and I copied it and it worked.

I don't know why I didn't do a proper logcat earlier. I tried it once and it didn't seem to show anything, but I must not have timed it right.
My logcat shows exactly as this guy shows: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=36468370&postcount=218
Basically, it can't find the proper .hcd file, because for some reason mine is named /system/bin/bcm4334_semcosh.hcd.
Renaming it to /system/bin/bcm4334_semco.hcd fixes it, without even a need for a reboot.

All that said, I've merely gotten bluetooth to turn on. No word yet on it's performance. But it's promising.
You shouldn't have to rename that file... that's what we need to figure out. Why certain devices are behaving like that.

I wonder what the fix is, but I wonder if different devices have slightly different Bluetooth modules.

You should google first, I know everyone was a first timer at one point, but at least try googling how to use recovery to flash roms.
Do that, and follow the OP installation instructions, and you'll be fine.

Don't think that Rom will work for him. Chances are he has upgraded to the latest version of LG's firmware. And I doubt he will have luck trying to downgrade. Maybe link him to Houston's jb leaks. They flash problem free without having to downgrade.

I'd link it myself, but the option to copy a threads URL in xda isn't working for me: (

Your best bet is to read, read, read. Each device may respond a little bit differently to each ROM, and what apps you install can have an effect as well. It can be a long process, but the only way to say what ROM works for you is to try it
