Why Socialhub Premium does not work by Default

Samusung intended that socialhub premium will be active in all countries where it is available by default.
But unfortunately, the server/web address of samsung socialhub inscribed in
in all previous bada firmware (bada 1.2 and backward), is not working (is dead).
In previous firmware, in the the file "clientstrings-en_US.lan",
the web address was http://eu020.fra.samsungsocialhub.com. This web address is dead.
So we need to change this address manually in the "clientstrings-en_US.lan" file to
the correct and working web address: http://na010.fra.samsungsocialhub.com.
NB:
For bada 1.2 and previous, you can replace the "clientstrings-en_US.lan" with the one from bada 2.0 firmware,
then edit csc file to "premium" or "basicplus".
Correction:
Please the socialhub web address in bada 2.0 is the same old http://eu020.fra.samsungsocialhub.com.
I mistakenly viewed the info from a bada 2.0 "clientstrings-en_US.lan" that I already modified.
I have deleted the erroneous statement that bada 2.0 came with the correct web address of http://na010.fra.samsungsocialhub.com
So there is still need for modifying files in bada 2.0 (just as in bada1.2) to activate socialhub premium.

That's really interesting, thanks for posting! Do you think that service address is going to change again in near future? Or maybe we have to wait bada 2.0 to the url become final?

I think someone needs to notify Samsung about this. Otherwise they may not even know this error exist. And as long as they still use the same old "clientstrings-en_US.lan" file without changing the old socialhub premium web address therein, the error will persist.

If you have the modified "clientstrings-en_US.lan" for bada 1.2, it's the same for bada 2.0. So you can extract the "clientstrings-en_US.lan" file from any modified firmware with socialhub premium activated (whether bada 1.2 or bada 2.0).

Bada 2.0.1 For all Regions unlocked and working

Hello I would love to see a CSC file for the Netherlands. My original CSC was XEN. I can provide u with this CSC but does it have to be a certain CSC ore will any XEN csc do the trick? As soon as I know what CSC u need I will upload it and provide the link.

i found out where is the PTR xml but if you at cellcom or pelephone you need to go to Stune after connecting you phone into it and go to CSC coustomer and click on it and a list of all the CSC on your phone will popout and then right-click the PTR or CEL or PCL
PTR = Orange
CEL = Cellcom
PCL = Pelephone
and copy the coustomer.xml
and then pick the foldor you want to save it there and then after you flashed to the new firmware you agine got Stune and pick a CSC that you will not use and then you replace the xml of the unneeded CSC with the copied xml and your phone will reboot and everything eles is on the guide the toxic gave

Upload it to KOR or something you see in the pre-config list

Thank u for uploding XEN CSC I tried it but it resulted in chinees language (had to change it by remembering were u can change language in settings menu) keyboard language was chinees too wich I could not change even when I set it to Nederlands it kept chinees . Internet settings were not found had to do it by hand. Am i doing something wrong? can u help me out here?

Is it enough to just change the csc and language change?
If I take csc Israeli and installs it on the new version of bada
Is the device supposed to be in Hebrew now?
I changed the CSC and the language has not changed ... I've pre-configeration and nothing happened except that I now can not even choose a language ...

as i know the fonts of the languages are in rc1 file so you can read your language with rc1 but if you want to type with your lang you have to use csc file

I wish the answer was simple - actually the rc1 file is holding the language files
the keyboard the X9 settings and all
and CSC file contains the operator settings and regional settings
we need combination of both .
By the way - do you have PTR or PCL firmware for 1.2 ?

before few month I flashed my phone to bada 2.0 (i have S8530 from pelephone..)
and I saw that the firmware is not hebrew..a
so I made hebrew firmware base on PCL without keyboard
cause we cant upload files to Rc1 file..and to get the keyboard files with Stune for ex.
but you have to understand its doesn't matter the "operator setting" and the "regional setting"
if you have not the files the make the
firmware hebrew you will not have hebrew on your phone
now I have the original PCL version
Because I gave the device to repair and "Pelephone" given me back new device

after looking and looking the net I have found PCL ver or 1.2
i have taken ( I think) all the important files from the Rc1 and transferred them to the new rc1 of bada 2.0 but I cant sign the file with wave remarker to reupload them via multiuploader to the phone
i can sign the pfs file - the csc and shp and i have great custom ver but I coudnt with rc1 file - which is the important file

For language support minimum requirement:
Font in *.ttf (True Type Format)
bada 1.x
System/Font (RC1 file)
bada 2.0
SystemCSC/Font (CSC in compressed part)
Text is in rsr files
SystemCSC\String
Both RC1 and CSC compressed part is hard nearly impossible to Edit now...
Please, btw...

You could compare for instance some files, maybe no changes between bada 1.x and bada 2.0 Strings...
I have no problem... my German is supported in every Font and English too...

Where did you get that from? I have a S8600 and I'm looking for a new firmware.

You can get Firmware for S8600 with CheckFus. And decrypt enc3 file for installing by multiloader.
For flashing, it's like S8500/S8530 except that you need to select MSM7x30 instead of LSI and use only multiloader 5.67.

Well, thank you! One more thing, how can I know which firmware contain romanian language among the other languages?

Firmwares for Romania start with "XF"
and if you want to know for example an XX firmware contains "Romanian" or not you should check weather it has one of these CSC's or not

If you have XXLA1 installed on your handset so just download these two files and flash them into your phone
note that this flashing is without dataloss
you should flash with no ticks checked (no full download no boot change)
I've installed Persian on my XXLA1 by this method

I know that using csc and shpapp of a firmware on another firmware is not the best solution but it's the only!
i'm using this method with no problems (on XXLA1)
so if anyone has problems please use these 2 files with s8500XXKL6
