i have instaled manila rom by bysio.
To change volume settings i have to enter settings, sounds and then change it.
Is any app taking that manager to today screen?
And one more problem :/
On today screen i have tap clock on the top bar to know of battery level :/
is any way to change it? i have tried ariel battery but it making bug :/

hi guys,
I just flash CM7 and I found a Interesting function in it.
when I press the power button, In normal state, the screen will instant off and
lock the screen.
but in CM7 it will shows a short animation just a flash, like we turn off the old TV!!
Does anyone can tell me how to do that cool effect?
Its not a screensaver! Its the screen off animation, this animation is only availible in gingerbread roms.

Hi, I've just installed Gingerbread 2.3.3 on my Desire HD, I was expecting to see the awesome TV-Off animation when turning the screen off but I have been disappointed, after searching everywhere else for answers on how to "enable" this animation (if it's even possible) I've finally decided to ask here. So, any help guys?

Are you on Cyanogen?? the HTC Sense doesn't have the T.V. Off Animation If so that your on Cyanogen MOD
Step 1
On your main Homescreen Click MENU and go on settings..
Step 2
Under the Settings Tab Go to CyanogenMod settings
Step 3
Under the CyanogenMod settings tab click on Display
Step 4
Under Display click and check Screen-on animation and Screen-off animation
Step 5
Press Home to exit

Really? That's such a shame Well, thank you for your extensive help, as of now I've chosen to just stick with the stock sense ROM rather than opt for the Cyanogen ROM.

It can be turned on in other time as well. Just look for a CRT mod in the Rom thread. Stock doesn't have it but most other roms do.
Hello i noticed that cm7 rc1v2 comes with 1ghz max clock speed at default. What are the possibilities of damage? How can I set it back to 800mhz max clock? maybe setcpu? thanks the answer!

i dont think it will damage anything..1Ghz is the max clock..it rarely goes to max..like wen u r playing a good graphics games or multi tasking and all..if u want u can underclock to 800Mhz also..
either use recovery overclock option or install setvsel and change the values.
recovery is when i put the volume down when the led lights blue?
edit: I found it but i dunno wich option is to set it to default 800 mhz anyone cold tell me what to do from step to step?

You can try the following
Turn off your phone and turn it back on
When you see the blue notification light, press the volume down button
Select CPU Settings (use volume up and down button to navigate, power button to select)
Select CLK3: [1000]
Keep pressing [-10 Clk3] till you see the desired speed (for eg. 800 Mhz )
Once done, Select Go Back and Reboot the system.

I have installed viper x and now i have some questions:
1 I want to increase overall screen brightness. which of the sliders in the tweaks do i have to use?
2 i've set custom lockscreen apps for the sense lockscreen but they're not shown. Must the sense ui be installed to use this? I have an installation without sense ui.
3 i have selected the option "vibrate mode" for my horizontal quick settings but it is also not shown. Anyone who knows this problem?
4 can i set a volume key as trigger for the sense camera app?
Maybe some of you can help me. Thank you very much.

1) if you have set the screen brightness in settings to 100% then i don't think there is anything else you can do to make it brighter.
2) you need sense installed
3) open venom tweaks > status > Hide n Reorder
check that there is not a red X next to vibrate mode.

1) I don´t want to set a fix brightness, I thought I could make the auto-brightness a little bit higher by changing one or some values in the tweaks-screen i have attached as picture. Is that possible?
2) ok, can I add sense ui by installing the rom again without wiping the phone? Will I loose all my settings then?
3) there is no red x, I´ve already checked that. But something funny happened: I checked it again, marked it red, unmarked it, changed the order of the settings and now it is there. But now the Wifi-Hotspot-Setting is not shown (the last and 7th setting in my list). Maybe I can´t set more than 6 settings?

2) if you install without a full wipe it should all be saved.
3) icons are on a scroll, just swipe from right to left on the tweak icons.
4) welcome
5) you can from venom hub, i believe ADW icons are also compatible. i dont know about TTF, sure someone on here knows.

I have tried this and now I have a bootloop! How can I come into Fastboot or Recovery from that? Long pressing powerbutton an holding volume down during the black screen doesn´t work... PANIC!

Ok, I came into recovery. Works again. :laugh:
I kept holding power an volume down all the time and didn´t release power when the screen was black.

1) Yes, there I found the screen I hab attached. But what now? Increase all the sliders a little bit?
2) That led into a bootloop again, don´t know why. But now I know how to handle that :laugh: . I will do a full re-install with sense ui next days.

5) There are only 10 fonts. I can´t find a possibility to download or add more. If there is none, I will use the app "font changer". That works, but some fonts aren´t changed then...

I have a new question about Viper X:
I always have Google Maps in my battery-statistics consuming a lot of power even if i didn´t use it. A friend told me that somtimes Maps makes trouble when it is installed as a system-app. So when I did the new installation of Viper X I didn´t install Maps as system. I loaded it from Play Store and switched Latitude off. But its still there.
Anyone who knows about it?
