hi guys,
I just flash CM7 and I found a Interesting function in it.
when I press the power button, In normal state, the screen will instant off and
lock the screen.
but in CM7 it will shows a short animation just a flash, like we turn off the old TV!!
Does anyone can tell me how to do that cool effect?
Its not a screensaver! Its the screen off animation, this animation is only availible in gingerbread roms.

hey guys, sorry if this has already been posted, I've done a quick search and nothings come up.
When using the track pad to scroll through home screens with a normal wallpaper, the transitions are really jumpy and laggy. but when using a live wallpaper it's fine.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
and if so, do you think there will be a possible fix for a rooted desire without having to flashing a custom rom?
Thanks, Brandon
Why use the trackpad at all?
same 4 me. trackpad on desktop lag.
i don't use it but anyway it's boring.
Hi -
I've got a rooted Incredible running Skyraider 3.1 Sense RC3, Launcher Pro, with the Incredible Revolution theme and my screen has started freaking out. Nothing I press in the bottom row of the screen works. When I go to the app drawer, it just scrolls up and down the drawer any time I touch any part of the screen.
When I long press widgets on the homescreen, I can feel the Inc vibrate just a little but the trash can doesn't pop up and I can't move the widgets.
Can anyone help? I've tried rebooting but that didn't work.
Thanks.
edit: fixed with a battery pull
The obvious question: If you nandroid back to your previous OS, does the problem go away?

I had bad luck with my nandroids causing my phone to get stuck on the splash screen, so I was hoping to do it without that.
Someone suggested a battery pull and that fixed it. I hadn't realized that a battery pull and an on/off accomplish different things.
hello there,
i've got HTC one x about 2 days ago, i think it's a v. good phone but now i have a problem
the phone had a very cool cube animation when you move between tabs as fingers are moved across the tabs ... for example in apps like "phone" you have (phone - people - favorite .. etc)... i used to have a cube animation while moving between those tabs ...
once i updated the software (which i didnt know it would change the phone like that), this animation is completely gone and it just shows a black box with the name of the tab on it ... how can i bring this animation back ?
one other thing, scrolling the home screen now goes forever, i mean when you scroll to the very last screen on the right, it jumps after that to the screen on the far left and goes looping like that .... how can i disable that feature and make it as it was
hope my questions are quite clear ...
Thanks
For cube animation: with the latest relase of android and htc sense, cube animation was off, but if you want, you can flash ViperX because the dev have added this option
For second question: Do you talk about infinite scrolling?
If yes, you can disable it, always, with ViperX rom.
With stock rom you can't disable infinite scrolling and activate cube animation
Flash a custom Rom matey

Hi guys!
As you may know, HTC Sense 4+ on the One X does not have an animation for closing an app. When you press home, it just hangs for a bit and them you're on the home screen. It breaks the fluidity of the UI and feels like something crashed.
When exiting the app-drawer however, it does display a nice animation when pressing the home button.
I'm going to try and see if I can get that animation to display on exiting any app.
Searching for this hasn't brought up anything, so I was wondering if anyone has done it before.
I was also wondering if any more experienced devs could point me in the right direction or even help me achieve this!
Thanks so much in advance,
-Mark

Hello,
Just follow these steps
1. Go to settings
2. Developer Options
3. Switch On the Developer Options
4. Advanced
5. Check the animations
CHEERS :good:
Animations located in Rosie.apk, in the res/anim folder, good luck playing around with it.
There is a app closing animation that's simply a fading out, but probably disabled in Rosie (maybe)
