ARHD 7.04. No doubt it's an amazing rom, smooth, fast, perfectly tweaked..
Now and then I'm experiencing this annoying trouble with Google Navigation.. It starts itself, sometimes every 2 minutes, sometimes less often, sometimes only twice in a day.. What should I do? I've experiencing this since ARHD 7.02.. I also have some problems with the volume- button, so I'm not sure whether it may depend on it or not.. Thinking to step back to RD-MIUI.. What do you think?

I first started using CM at 6.1.2. I'm now on CM7 RC2 and the same problem still occurs. I have no idea why this happens but I'll provide as much info as possible in the hope that someone will be able to figure it out.
My phone will work completely normally for several days after I initially flash CM6.1.2 or CM7. After a few days, a crash will occur where the screen stays on but the phone is completely unresponsive to all input -- touch, softkeys, or hardware keys. The power button stops functioning. After a while, the screen dims and the phone reboots. After the reboot the phone chugs along for a few hours and then the same thing happens. This crash almost always occurs in the Browser, in the middle of loading a page. I don't think it's a memory issue because I consistently have ~100MB free for RAM.
Also, I don't know if this is at all related, but I often notice just before the crash, the haptic feedback from the phone for keyboard presses and the softkeys becomes very erratic and inconsistent.
I can never get a logcat because the phone restarts after the crash. Has anyone else seen this or know what might be the problem? Again, this has been happening all the way since CM6.1.2 (and possibly earlier, I haven't tried anything earlier than 6.1.2 though). This is driving me pretty crazy, and I really love CM and would like to continue using it, but this is kind of a dealbreaker.
Did you wipe between flashing CM6 and CM7?
Yes, I always wipe data/cache/dalvik between flashing.
OK... Every other day or so I'll go to turn on my screen and it acts like I just told it to power on....
It's acting like it was off. I don't know if hitting the power on button is causing a random reboot when trying to wake the screen or what.
I have the extended the battery and cover, both seem secure. Battery also holds a charge quite excellently. I'm only averaging half the internal memory used by active programs.
Is this a hardware problem? Is there a log file I could turn on or check to see if my phone was active right up til I hit the button or if it had been off for an hour?
It's just the nature of CM7. No one wants to admit it, but it's buggy as hell. Random reboots, touchscreen not responding, power button not waking up the phone until the 3rd or 4th try, it's all part of the gig.
But, we all put up with it because there are so many other amazing things about it. You need to weigh out if you can deal with these types of issues in exchange for things you like about CM7. Because I have been using Cyanogenmod off and on for probably 9 or 10 months, and the bugs never go away, they just turn into new ones. "Release candidates" are usually more buggy than the nightlies. My recommendation would be to download and install one of the latest nightlies. I have found that many of the nightlies have more stability than the release candidates.
I still love the rom, and and I am happy to put up with it because it offers me a lot that I can't get with a sense based rom.
Just my two cents. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
As this is my first Windows Phone and I wasn't really sure what to expect when it came to fluidity, I was pleased with how smooth everything is. However I've begun noticing a decent (read: annoying) bit of lag when I open up the messaging app and begin typing. The letters take a second to appear and autocorrect is slow if it comes up at all. The lag only last maybe 3-5 seconds but annoying none the less. I've also had some rather bad experience with laggy apps, with Skype being the worst culprit. I read good things about the recent refresh, but it's pretty much unusable for me. I've also been having issues with losing LTE and having it drop down to "4G". A simple toggle of airplane mode fixes it, but it's gone from happening rarely to happening once or twice a day now. When I do have LTE though, I have 4-5 bars constantly.
Anywho, bit of a wall of text but I just wanted to see if anyone else is having similar issues and if it's worth going to AT&T and seeing if they'll replace the phone for me as I'm still within my 30 day return window.
EDIT- Just remembered 2 more issues. Had it reboot on my when adjusting the volume and there's a weird clicking noise that happens when I swipe from the first picture in the camera roll. The phone is on silent, and it only happens going from the first to second picture. Little odd but not a big deal.

The only problem i have seen is:
When i switch off my phone and turn it on sometimes it freezes and i have to turn it of an on 2 or 3 times in order to get it working. this has been happening recently i dono whthere it is to do with some apps or firmware issue.
sometimes the touch screen also give hiccups specially on facebook app.
No other problem. coming from samsung galaxy s 2, i only miss the ability to change my homescreen every week with a different launcher and layout. The apps that i miss are Tweetdeck, 100% working Pulse, Youtube and Facebook App.
My Lumia 900 playing Angry birds is so much faster and smoother compared to SGS2.
Overall i am happy with the looks and performance of my phone.
I get that messaging problem as well sometimes where the keyboard lags and the typing noise doesn't keep pace with my inputs.
Mildly annoying and it's not constant so no big deal for me.
Sometimes, multitasking stops working and I have to do a quick power-off.
Actually, all issues are resolved with a quick reboot as opposed to a reset with my Lumia 900 which is something I can't say about my HD7.
I agree with above. The only lag I get is the occasional facebook load time lag. Some apps take longer to load than others, it's perfectly reasonable. As for overall lag, I had one experience yesterday where everything just slowed to a standstill. It was the first time I had to restart the phone, but after that, I've seen no problems. I can imagine it was a corrupt app as I had been downloading quite a bit of them that day. Coming from android for 2 years, the experience here is much much smoother. My advice, as i learned from the past 2 years, is to retrace your steps and find out when exactly it started to lag. When you find the beginning see if you downloaded any poorly rated or laggy third party app, or if you changed a seeting on your phone. If it continues to lag for no reason, you might just have a bad device. Best of luck.

I just upgraded from a Samsung Focus. My very first reaction was that the screen was slightly less responsive than the Focus, which was buttery smooth and instantaneous. It felt slightly, but noticeably less responsive. After using it for a day, I don't notice it anymore. I am sure it is there, but my memory of the Focus is not as near. As far as true lag goes, I have not experienced any after 2 weeks use, and no reboots or freezes.

I'm glad you are enjoying it but I came from the original focus myself and had the exact opposite reaction. That it was much faster and smoother than my old focus... I still have it and my kids play the old games on it so I can compare regularly and still feel the same.
Does anybody have lag when they are pinching and zooming on heavy desktops websites? i am getting a lot of lag here where my htc titan did not get that lag.
The only issue I seem to be having is when playing any kind of music or watching videos. If I touch any of the capacitive buttons, it's as if I long press them. Not a huge deal since I usually only touch the back arrow anyway, but that's all I get.
i was wondering if anyone else had this problem. My lumia has consistently not displayed maps in nokia maps or the maps app. It will show my location on a blank black or patterned screen (depending on the app). It's not a wifi or data issue because it's happened on both. It's happened five times in 3 days. Each time i've had to shut the phone off and restart it and it works again. Is this just a problem with mine? Thanks.e

it is a problem with your device, so do you have web browser lag or is that problem only with my device.
I tried to google any related threads to the symptom that my N7 2013 shows, but so far couldn't find any. So I decided to start a new thread to see if I'm the only one in this.
As the thread title suggests, the screen freezes randomly and comes back to life after a few seconds later. It doesn't seem to be happening continuously, but the interval between one and the next one should be something like half an hour, give or take. Funny thing is, when it happens, it does recognize all the inputs made on the screen while frozen and once the screen starts responding again, everything I have done in the meantime appears on it afterwards such as typing, swiping, etc.
I suspect it started happening after I installed the newest firmware, JLS36I, but can't be sure as I have received in the fairly early stage of rollout--pretty much on the same day Google started rolling it out, which was just a few days after I got my N7 2013.
I've experienced pretty much the exact same issue on mine, build JSS15R, not sure why though?
This happens occasionally on my Nexus 4, running CM10.2...ive read that its an issue with 4.3 all together.
i don't see a 30 min window like you experience. mine is about 10 seconds.
Just loaded last nights update and we'll see if it continues.
On my N7; ive never had it happen.

Didn't know it's a known issue with Android 4.3. But it's somewhat odd that I never had such problems with Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 2012 although both are on 4.3. And it seems I was a bit ambiguous or misleading with the description. Mine is also about a few seconds, between five to ten second each, but it seems like it happens every half an hour if I use the device continuously. Is it somewhat similar to your N4?

I have the exact problem... I did the touch screen test with no problem.. I would say not hardware issue? Seems like the proccesor freze will trying to load something...
Same problem
I have the same problem also ... input text, playing game ... one day have around 2 time screen freezing ~ any1 have the solution ?
It seems like you are not alone. Mine is acting just the same. After a continuous gaming there would be this weird frozen screen which would magically turn back to normal and not happening again after maybe around an hour.

Me too. Not frequently but from time to time. Especially when I lay the device down .... Its useless sometimes. I can't believe Google can't fix this. I'm running 15r

I experience the same thing about once for every hour of use. The screen will freeze for about 5 seconds, although the power button is able to turn off the screen the device is otherwise unresponsive.
This was happening in every rom, stock or otherwise for me and I was about to return it then I flashed v10 of Paranoid Android and the problem hasn't reoccurred in 2 days so far. Hoping it stays that way.
Same problem here...
It's the device hanging while it performs an IO operation- the storage on the Nexus 7 isn't particularly fast, though it is faster than the last-gen N7 which was about a million times worse for random device freezes than this model.
Same problem here, was thinking of flashing CM to see if it was any better.
Same issue here, but i notice this today, it was working fine the last couple of weeks after the last update
Pretty much every person I've called says at random times I will cut out for 1-2 seconds, and I've experienced the same thing with hearing callers it will go out and be silent for a couple of seconds. This happens randomly, but it always happens. I don't know if it's the phone or ? Using stock dialer on Google Fi.
yes i have , but it happend to me in global stable , it has been fine using Arrow OS.
But anyways , it is unacceptable that such a thing happens with the stock system.
