Once downloaded delete part of the name that says system or vendor.
I only used that to show which goes where.
I used root explorer to push the apps but if not rooted you can install like ordinary app.
I don't have stock home as I have modded version from xepria s.

little help

Hey guys, my phone was getting blurry mms I fixed it by flashing the cm fix but I didn't like it, so I flashed an older ROM but my message icon was removed from the bottom when I did the flash fix how can I dock the icon back to the bottom? Thanks!
Go to the app screen and press the menu button. Then click on edit and add the icon you want.
I just found that out today as well.

Awesome thanks man! I didn't know this!

Possible to remove SMS count from lockscreen?

My wife has gotten a SE Experia Arc S and looks good... Only problem is that she is using GO SMS Pro as SMS app, and when SMS is received and read using GO SMS, the SMS count on the lockscreen is not updated... Any way to fix this?
Regards,
BTJ
I believe the lockscreen notifications only work with stock app.
I.e. one have to open the stock app to reset the counter on the lockscreen?
Guess installing WidgetLocket Lockscreen is an option...

Just uncheck the 'Notifications' in the settings of the Messaging stock app.
Problem solved, no more notifications from the stock app
Hmmm... I was about to say that I had already done that but got a bit uncertain, have to check; I might have forgotten it... (A)
Thx...

That removes notifications from the notification bar but not the lockscreen. I never found a way to disable this on my mini pro my arc except by running cm instead of stock rom

That's what I thought... Guess I should tell her to try WidgetLocker...

Try to delete "LockscreenNotifications.apk" from system/app
But make a backup - just in case the phone acts up

Have you tried going into the app drawer>menu>edit and dragging an icon off and replacing it?

That's how you do it for sure, but you should try while on the homescreen long pressing the old msging app and see if you can drag it to remove. Then you can drag and drop the gv app in the open spot. The stock ics launcher allows you to do it that way so you don't have to go into the app drawer and then menu then edit. I'm not sure if the TW launcher can do that though. I haven't used that launcher since GB. I'd be curious to hear if you can.
The TW launcher won't let you, I just tried it.

And ya I double checked, it is Applications > Menu > Edit
It may tell you that you need to change the app drawer to customizable grid, just click ok.

[Q] A few questions with the MOAR MK3 7.1.0 rom

Hello everyone,
I recently flashed this rom on my Sprint GS3 (after being out of the custom rom world for a bit) and I had a few (probably noob) questions. With regard to theme-ing, after I change the color of something, is there an easy way to change it back to default or do I just have to try and hand match it as close as possible?
Also, I installed (flashed) the 4.4 AOSP launcher from myhub, but there does not seem to be any kind of settings menu for it. It defaults to only 2 pages, which isn't nearly enough to hold my apps and widgets. Is there anyway to get more screens? If not, how do I uninstall it? (In application manager, it only gives the option to turn off, not uninstall).
Sorry if the answer to these are already in the forums somewhere, but I've looked and can't seem to find anything.
Thanks,
Haven't upgraded to the latest version, but I don't *think* there's a way to revert to a "default" color.
With the launcher, you should be able to get to the settings option by hitting the menu button while on ur home Page?

Thanks, I don't think there is a way to go back to default either...and if you go to the settings for the launcher it just takes you to the Google now settings. It's really strange.

You can only create a new screen by dragging an app icon or a widget from an existing screen to the right side of that screen, the G.E.L. will then make a new screen available to place that app or widget on. Personally, Nova Launcher is a much better alternative, or Apex for that matter.

[Q] Change home button long press behaviour

I'm on rooted stock firmware and I am wondering if it is possible to change the behaviour of a long press on the home button. I've used cyanogenmod in the past and I was able to set the behaviour for the home button to show a dial of apps/actions. Is this possible through the use of a mod or an xposed module? Thanks in advance

I'm using Swipeup Utility. No root required and is free on play store.

That's almost perfect! Thanks for that. I like the cyanogenmod version better but beggars can't be choosers!
Ideally, what I want is on the semi circle there to be icons for apps that I can set. Also, one feature that I liked was the ability to have one of the icons being a 'kill current process' icon. This will do for the timebeing though.
You can do it with gravity box.

Gravitybox is unusable for me. It keeps making my launcher (xperia home) crash. Shame as the solution looked perfect.
